  1. That was a stage builder level. No spoiler
  2. Shitty research. R4 is but one of many devices for that function. And not many DS owners have a flash cartridge at all. Maybe 3-5%.
  3. I agree with both JCvgluvr and Arek to an extent. To anyone posting spoilers in this thread: It's meant to be readable by those who don't want to be spoiled. Leave your links in but white out anything not covered by the DOJO or the demos. To JCvgluvr: Thanks for reinforcing my "white out your spoilers" messege, but the tone you used provoked Arek's flames. Try to be more careful in your wording. To Arek: Don't heckle JCvgluvr. If this flame war goes on much longer I'm afraid this thread will get locked like the last one.
  4. You need to find a new rickroll url, "uuiU" gives it away every time. Sorry, no click.
  5. People, censor your spoilers! We have posts in here unspoilertexted mentioning the last unlockable! Come on.
  6. Excellent idea! The database now accepts SteamIDs.
  7. I've decided to make a new thread for this, as the old one has a lot of outdated data and Arek and I have agreed that I'll be managing the top post. Our online info is stored at the ClanOCR Database. (NEW URL as of January 2009) Please add your info here. We've expanded from only storing Friend Codes and Wii Console Numbers to all kinds of online game information. You can add your Xbox Live gamertag or PSN name to the database. ClanOCR is meant to bring OCR people together for online gaming where the ingame matchmaking service is insufficient. For setting up online games, we have an IRC chat. The Channel is #clanocr on irc.enterthegame.com. The easiest way to jump into the chat is to use the Chatzilla Firefox extention and go to irc://irc.enterthegame.com/clanocr. Alternatively, you can use a full-fledged IRC client like mIRC to connect to the chat. Now that online matches for Super Smash Bros. Brawl are on the horizon, I'd like to invite OCR to our database and chats to organize matches against other OCR members. I feel that OCR can benefit from our infrastructure for this game in particular as I'm sure a lot of us will be playing it, and playing it online. Let me know if you need a game added, or have any trouble with the database.
  8. I'm 21 years old. Yes, video games are still fun. But I have higher standards now.
  9. This is the current database url. Is this not loading for you? I have added your Pokémon and PSN codes.
  10. If you can tell me what player name you use in Diamond I'll add it for you. Mognet is the only thing the FF3 codes are used for, though I believe something (Onion Knight maybe?) is unlockable through that.
  11. Drack

    Macintosh

I hate most Apple hardware. It's got too much flash, too little function, and costs way too much for what it does. It's just not practical. I like their OS. It's solid software and has an interesting take on how an OS should be designed. It works really well with its software suite and I'm quite impressed. If only the software were more flexible and configurable (yeah I'm a Linux user most of the time) I could see it being my primary OS. On PC hardware of course.
  12. I just made it up, and Drack stuck far better than my earlier online names. It's not taken from anything, but is often already used when I try to sign up in places. Other Dracks probably derived it from Dracula or something. It's a common enough name that googling will get you nowhere (Some documentation I wrote on setting up a gamecube development environment is on the second google page, everything else pretty much is other Dracks).
  13. CoroCoro cards were released in Japan. They confirm this, which we didn't already know: -Zelda's final smash is Light Arrow(s). Her down-B was not listed on the card. -Wario's up-B is Corkscrew. -Charizard's up-B is Fly.
  14. More Melee Stages, eh? I wish they chose other stages to represent in the update. I don't know anyone who likes Brinstar. Also, I have a friend who HATES melee's corneria because it's smaller relative to the characters than 64's sector Z. Looks like that hasn't changed for Brawl's obligatory great fox stage.
  15. Someone claiming to be a beta tester has posted a ton of "inside" information on gamefaqs. http://boards.gamefaqs.com/gfaqs/genmessage.php?board=928518&topic=40558055 Even if it's a complete fabrication, it's an interesting read.
  16. As far as kirby's final smash goes, I'm kind of surprised they didn't use Microphone instead of Cook.
  17. I've only taken a semester and done some Kanji study over the vacation. I intended my translation to be a stopgap while someone with more expeience does a proper one. WWWJDIC really helped a lot in this regard, but I'm not surprised at all that there are some mistakes. Hmm, was that supposed to be "Sound of NiGHTS"? Knights is what the silly google translate told me.
  18. This reminds me. Anyone getting Smash early due to the Japanese getting it sooner or leaks/mods, please use spoilertext with your spoilers (any info not known from the dojo or the demo vids is a spoiler).
  19. I'm going back to Tech in 3 days, 4 tops.
  20. The first thing I'll do? If I'm with my friends at Georgia Tech, multiplayer before any of us have played a second of it. If no rl friends are handy, wifi with OCR folks who also have it (ClanOCR will be covering the matchmaking for OCR). If nobody's handy, subspace emissary with Meta Knight.
  21. I've read some of it. It covered the original metroid. I didn't really like it that much. Also, I don't think anyone has translated it from Japanese.
  22. Hell yeah. I played the hell out of the multiplayer on Microsoft Gaming Zone. I remember the days of Patch Commander and Kicker Helper quite well. Even wrote a few of my own cogs. Modding Jedi Knight was probably the first programming I ever did.
  23. I'm on it. My Japanese isn't great, but I've got a good idea what they're talking about, better than a babelfish or google translate. Editing the post as I translate it.
  24. Bowser is most definitely in the clouds in that picture. Anyway, if you want to verify that graph, the source is WFCStatus, which can be found at http://wfcstatus.net/. It is a program that polls Nintendo's WFC servers for activity and reports the statistics it finds. Always right? I have been wrong before. I remember that day pretty well considering how long ago it happened.
