  1. Producing an 8+ min long remix without it getting repetitive is hard work, but you managed to pull it off; there's so much going on and so much variation, it's incredible. At the same time, it's very relaxing stuff. And I agree, we need more remixes like this one on the site.
  2. Intro has a classic-OCRemix feel to it. Guitar/synth is sweet, and the underlying dnb rhythm gives the remix a lot of energy. Nice breakdowns, too, particularly the one around the 2 min mark. Good stuff; looking forward to hearing more from you.
  3. Heh, I agree. Also, speed it up a few bpm, and you'd have some awesome Happy Hardcore. Also also, love the piano, mechanical or not.
  4. The acoustic part is a nice break from the rest of the remix, and the transition back to the heavier stuff is handled very well. I think the remix is a little too long, though. For me, there's just not enough (melodic) variation to keep it interesting for five and a half minutes.
  5. This, essentially. Lead coming in around 1:25 is chiptune bliss, and the more atmospheric stuff around 2:50 reminds me of Final Fantasy 7, weirdly enough.
  6. Jazz section is awesome. Love the violin, too. The rap is a very mixed bag, though. While I certainly like the idea behind it, the vocals are too distorted for my taste; it's just too hard to understand what Doug's rapping about.
  7. Very moody piece. The section around 0:20 gives us a first taste of the good stuff coming in around 1:05; those are my favourite parts of the remix. Have to say that the strings feel a little overly dramatic to me; I could do without them. Fadeout is too abrupt IMO.
  8. Great intro and really good use of synths all throughout the song. Nice groove you've got going on.
  9. Classic(-ish, actually) source tune and a classic OCR metal mix. Lovely. I particularly like the really fast sections, e.g. ~0:40 and 2:00. Nice solo around 2:50, too. Piano is a nice touch. Fade-out is a bit too long, though. Somehow, this reminds me of the F-Zero metal tracks.
  10. Seconded. Also, I absolutely love the drums, but I'm a sucker for military drums, so what can I say.
  11. Very smooth and relaxing stuff, even once it picks up some speed. Reminds me of the OneUps. Also, loving the flute and the guitar. The fade-out was kinda weak, though.
  12. This track sounds downright evil. Absolutely great. Love the piano, too. Most of the time, it makes for a creepy atmosphere, but sometimes, when it plays something like a jingle on its very own, it lightens the mood considerably (e.g. at 3:00).
  13. This. The remix made me djp within the first 5 seconds. In fact, I'm currently djping to it, and I've listened to it numerous times since I downloaded it. As some of the previous posters mentioned, it's just wonderful how well the chiptune elements gel with the rest of the song.
  14. Same here, and I gotta agree that this remix conjures images (or rather sounds of) classic SciFi stuff from the 70s/80s. Which fits right into the whole Mass Effect shebang, considering that the games take quite a few elements from that era, too.
  15. Lovin' this. I love, love, love the sound of the Rhodes piano in this remix. I agree with SiriusBeatz, though, in that the piano itself is a bit too bright. The glitchy beats give this remix a very unique touch; nice idea. Great stuff.
  16. Level 99 sings? A surprise, and as it turns out, a pleasant one. The vocals aren't mindblowing, but they're good enough that they work for the remix. The lyrics are pretty sweet, too. Personally, I think the layered vocal stuff at the end is a little over the top, but after listening to the remix repeatedly, it doesn't bother me as much as I first thought it would.
  17. Something about the first 30 to 40 seconds bothers me, but I can't really put my finger on any specific thing. Weird. It all comes together when the awesome synth enters at 1:07, though. This is where I start to really enjoy the remix. Love the part around the 2 minute mark.
  18. Rock solid rock song (pun intended). Reminds me of the stuff friends of mine were listening to back in the 90s, bands like Running Wild, Grave Digger etc. The "pling" e.g. at 0:34 and 0:39 is somewhat annoying, though.
  19. First off, the bass is incredibly funky. Don't really like the sound of the lead guitar coming in at 0:10, but that's personal preference. The breakdown around the 2 minute mark is kinda boring; there's absolutely nothing that holds your attention in that section. Fortunately, the remix picks up at 2:25 and becomes interesting once again; the climax is pretty sweet. As quite a few posters before said, this is sort of a mixed bag. Looking forward to your future remixes, though.
  20. So much fun wrapped up in one remix. Beats that make you djp, hilarious lyrics, pretty much perfect production. As far as rap remixes go, this is one of the best.
  21. Chippy and crunchy, but not as chippy and crunchy as usual, which, I assume, is Insixfour's influence. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Very enjoyable tune.
  22. Exactly what I expected when I saw The Vagrance's name on the front page. Smooth, relaxing atmospheric DnB. Nice use of piano and sax, too. If I had to criticise something, I'd say that the intro is a little too long; 1:30 in a 4:20 is quite a chunk.
  23. This. Furthermore, I agree with what has been said about the radio framing; nice idea. Good stuff, hope to hear more from you.
