I find it hard to believe that the first game you showed us is an actual game, Steben. Its presentation looks like someone added in new characters from microsoft paint. And if it is a real game, that's some god awful level design. Even if it was done on purpose. Meh, I'm probably just being grumpy and not realizing how funny this is, but still, if I ever played that game myself, I would make sure to kill whomever made it before I killed myself.

I'm not going to lie. That's probably THE dumbest item I've ever seen. An item that doesn't allow you to heal yourself and may heal your opponent. Thanks, but I'd rather rape someone's sheild with Mr. Saturn.

Fully expecting this to be awesome. They did a very good job on the first film with character development and story and special effects, so I expect no less from this film. Is that Christopher Lloyd? Edit: lol, nevermind. It must have been his hair cut.

It's actually kind of funny that this happened because I only really began to use this word (phrase?)after reading what it stands for in a wiki article. There's nothing like the angry confused look you get from people when you scream "woot." Too much fun. Well, actually using captain Falcon's taunt on people irl is probably better.

Basically, GGPO is betar,but I guess I still have Kawaks set up, so I'll try out this P2P stuff. And besides, Garou is lots of fun whether you've played fighting games before or not. It's HOTU TIME.

HEEEYYY! I liked the EX series..... It wasn't amazing but it was actually had more in common w/ the classic series than most people think. And It had new characters yet people thought it was just a lame spin-off. Actually, I think if those games had better graphics, they would have been more popular. They were basically just a polygonal transfer of the SF2 with some new mechanics. Wait, that sounds kind of like what this game is going to be......

I have some issues with the graphics and artistic style as well. I was looking for a hyper realistic rendition of characters (a la VF or even Tekken.) I mean we're in the umpteenth generation of systems and the "hardcore" gaming demographic that this game undoubtedly is trying to reach will probably flip a shit if the graphics aren't super pretty. On the other hand, I do like Udon's work and if they are going to cell-shade this, I'd want them to have a hand in making the game hyper-surrealistic and actually more cell shaded. Right now the graphics seem to have identity issues (can't decide whether it wants to be realistic or not and it ends up just looking akward.) I realize that these are screenshots and that screenshots never look as good as actual footage and that these are probably just work in progress shots, but hell I'm a fanboy and I must rant and rave about these things. Also: Dudley better be in this shit.

I mean in comparison to killiera and other more establisehd net battle places. However, it may only be a matter of time until GGPO turns into something like that; even more reason to play now while it's still fun and people don't have to resort to insulting you in order to get their kicks.

Anyone played on GGPO besides me, yet? When it's working, it's beautiful. There are many good players and there's so little unnecessary shit talking; it's just gg's of SFA2 or MVC if that's your thing. Not too bad for an Alpha build.
