  1. Hey guys, I was wondering if you guys could help me with a problem. My friend is looking for a place to post audio lectures and lessons, specifically so they can be submitted to iTunes as a Podcast. Do you guys know of any good sites for this (the cheaper or free, the better). Thanks.
  2. Freaking Goldeneye! Yes freaking yes! Not only is this a mix to a game I wish was shown more love, but it's a awesome! I really like the "creepy" take on some of the mix, and love that it kept surprising me throughout the song, with me being unable to guess where the mix was going. Thanks a lot for doing this, you made a most professional and most deadly mix here.
  3. This is so freaking cool. I'm glad you did something like this with the sources, because the source has been done to death. But you brought new life into it! And the guitar work is a electric sweet that I love to hear. Very fun, very unique. Thanks for doing this!
  4. Final Fantasy VI and Starcraft: Brood War. I'm stuck in the past, it would seem.
  5. I love the description you gave this song. Now, all I can think during this song is an old, worn-down factory with a lone robot master. The take on this tune is great and love the new interpretation the acoustic sound gives it.
  6. These crack me up. I'll be showing many friends, I can assure you.
  7. I honestly think FFVII has aged well, because it was a bit stylized in its artwork and wasn't that realistic then. I found that FFVIII actually aged less well. I would have to say Final Fantasy IV (gameplay) and the first Resident Evil (graphics).
  8. How did I miss this remix?! Talk about a cool sound. Downloaded and played all day today.
  9. I'm replaying Final Fantasy VI now (my favorite FF) and I just finished this scene. Great mix of a great song of a great scene in a great game.
  10. So, I was reading the posting for "Brambles Open Minds Like Bubbles" and I liked the comment that the source tune was the Ice Cap for DKC2. We all know that there are songs like this (Terra) that just get covered more than others. My question is, what source to you find to be the Ice Cap for other games? My personal answer is "Gerudo Valley" from Ocarina of Time, not because it's a bad tune (I love it) but because there's so much more soundtrack to OoT. Your thoughts/suggestions?
  11. I liked this. I was a little hesitant because I'm not a fan of metal but I didn't find it to be a big deal here. I really liked this take of a great intro theme, including the acoustic opening in this mix. But I definitely feel like the artist gave us a cool new take on the main source. Nice work!
  12. I was listening to my iPod on shuffle while driving in the car and this song came on. I swore this was one of the Bond remixes I have and when curious to what stage this was, I saw that it was this mix. I think that states a job well done.
  13. Intent expressed. I agree that the hardest part is picking a mix, especially since "Serious Monkey Business" has so many new good songs.
  14. Wow. After searching and constantly eliminating the choices, I finally found it. It turns out some of my memories were a bit off and I forgot some details of the game. Alien Virus! How could I forget! http://www.abandonia.com/en/games/627/Alien+Virus.html
  15. Nope. Not Rama. I was excited reading the description because it sounded like my game, but it's not. You never leave the space station and the aliens are only in it a bit.
  16. I really want to see this get finished and posted.
  17. No, it's none of those games. It was first person, had some decent graphics (not 3d), and wasn't a DOS game. Though, I might just quit my search and play X-Com now. I heard it's fairly awesome.
  18. Hey guys, I'm trying to find this old point and click game I played as a kid. I don't remember the name but it was set in a space station where everyone was either dead or hiding because of aliens. You had to walk around and find your way through the station by fixing a robot or two, fixing wires so doors would open, and all that classic stuff. Does anybody know what I'm talking about?
  19. Love it! I have always loved the DKC2 soundtrack and this album has been great. This is such a cool vocal mix and I love the guitar. I love how you turned such an atmospheric song and turned into a mellow love song. The two voices really work well together. Great mix and thanks!
  20. I love this mix (and album)! I've been listening to it all day. At first, the rap parts weren't working well for me but they've definitely grown on me. I was also driving to Boston with a friend of mine and had my shuffle on and this song came up. My friend, who never listens to remixes, thought it was great and was very impressed. Great source track and great mix. Thanks!
  21. I never got to play Ecco (Super Nintendo owner and all) but I have to say this music is great. I love the effects in the beginning and the ambiance of the whole thing. This is probably now one of my favorite water-theme remixes since Donkey Kong Country. Nice job!
  22. I didn't plan on showing this here, but this morning I got a ton of comments from this community so I figured I'd cut the chase and show the video here! For those that haven't seen it, I hope you enjoy it!
