Holy crap the track list is getting very full and Zoola and Joker still have to pick tracks! Oh yeah the comment bout Dire Dire Docks FTW.

OK first listen I was kinda like uhh it's ok. Of course that was at 5am after I got woken up. But then I gave it a 2nd listen and I really like it. These are normally my favorite types of songs. Ethereal female vocals with texture shifting synths and DT beats. So I am def glad I gave it a 2nd listen. That whispering at 1:32! I wanna know how to do that! The mix is a lil rough around the edges in certain areas but it has way too many good aspects not to like it. Thanks pixie for making this song I really like it, I have been waiting for a song of this type to come out on OCR again for awhile.

Quick reply...much improved. 1:40 the volume on the harmony needs to go down when the melody comes in IMO. This def packs a whole lot more power. What it needs to be better is. A better relationship between the kick and bass, it's better but not quite there yet. Something that gets you grooving a little more. Also try some pin pong pannining with different elements. And also some automation on different pannings. Wicked good update, def finish this one off. Now go play with your knobs!

I really like it, it sounds pretty cool. I'd say expand on it more and give it some more expressive elements composionally. Maybe even some accompany orchestral or ethnic elements.

I haven't checked out Freeman's new track yet but I def digged Gamebox's last song. It took one or two listens to realize it was him, and then I listened I couple more times on repeat. Def has a nice vibe u can just set on repeat and sit back.

Sweeet We still gotta keep that WIP of invasion though, it was pretty good and it was the very first WIP i believe.

An ur gilgamesh song. Uh update on my song...ummmm...yeah...! I'm redoeing the entire soundscape. A few composition areas will be changed. Nothing major. But I'll be redoeing the entire song in Reason. Also with what I am gonna do now I don't the guitar, but it would still kick ass if it was in there. So it's all up to Tensei wether or not it has guitar in it...i hope it does. Frankly u'll get a much better song outta me if I do an electronic mix rather than rock.

Damn I thought there were a whole lot more songs! Yeah 'wings' is the same track as 'Powerful Mario' I believe. It's gonna upbeat and have lots of energy. I'll prob be using Reason, so if anyone else is interested in the same song I'm up for collabs.

If we can pick the sources now: I'll take "wings." If i find something I like better i'll change.

This went directly onto my HD. This reminds me alot of Reu's Schenmue mix. Which is also friggin amazing. Highly emotive piano that sounds like it's from a real serious anime. Good things: Attention to dynamics, wonderful build-ups and breakouts. Just when you think it can't get more emotive it does. Melody and harmony are awesome. I just wanna sit back and listen. Left hand technique. This is really the bread winner for this mix.

Count me in as a mixer, thanks for the invite. IMO prob wait till the start of summer. You know May/June? Everyone will have a lot more time during the summer. You guys are the Master in Chief and the Prime Minister so it's your call.

WTF i wrote a long post about this and it isn't here!? Sorry dude I'll try to make a shortened version. Composition is great! Although get some dynamics in that melody. Really explore up and down the scale. This piece has a great feel, and giving the melodies even more life could really make this stand out. Hand drum is too loud in the beggining, it overshadows everything. All of the melodies are too soft. Get some type of bass sound and some type of kick in there at places to really give this some good rythmix vibes. Yeah the samples are pretty lo-fi and that's gonna be something very hard to rectify.

First off dis some hott shite! 1st song: Try adding in some french horn playing in the lower registers to accompany the strings. That could add some added texture and mood to the sonic goodness here. 2nd song: Hats or one of the sounds is a lil piercing IMO. I've watched some videos on live and having been using the demo, and that program is just friggin nasty.

I will attempt to do a remix of this theme in 1-2 HOURS!!!....oh my what have I gotten myself into.

Haha when I saw 'Fishy' and 'Trance' in the same sentence I had to loook. Those lil FX you got goin on in the beggining are pretty cool. Alot of the flow and other basic elements are pretty good for the short amount of time you have spent on it. The chords are nice, you need more of a lead in before they first come in. In general you need alot more build-ups and break downs rythmically in between sections. The lead sounds are pretty good, but a little soft. The kick drum and bass need an assload more oomph. You put any compression on the kick yet? Get the bass and kick thumping. If you haven't def EQ out the low-end freq on everything except the kick and bass. The basic chord structure is pretty good, that's usually the deal breaker in trance songs for me. Get the harmonies to come through cleaner and more vibrant. I can't remember if Scream4 came with Reason 2.5, but if you got it use it! Try it out on various elements to get a more improved sound. Also in general some small amounts of FX applied to the different harmonies and leads could really help. Also try boost some of the high end 5k and above freq on the chords or leads for a nice airy feel. I really like what you got goin here.

The meaning of the lyric is ambiguous, so whatever the feel of the harmony and melody behind it is what will shape the meaning of the lyric for the listener...IMO
