Escariot has agreed to host us some forums and a website and stuff, because hes awesome like that.

I'll ask escariot about all that kind of stuff. He does hosting for me personally already, aswell as for some of the projects i'm already in, very reliable and helpful .

Pretty much the same thing, so it's probably fine.

There is already a Megaman V project I think, run by dafyd. It's been around for a little while I think.

Powerful mario is indeed the same track. It's also friggin awesome. I know it might seem like a small tracklist, but there are only 15 stages and some of the tracks are re-used. These are the ones that are longer then 30 seconds long basically. I think 20 tracks is a nice round number anyway . Just had a listen to those tracks, and its quite promising, so if pocketman is okay with it, I am too. I would say it's safe to accept anyone who's already got a track on OCR. Plus your barrets theme was great .

Indeed, on reflection it needs a lot of work. It's good you guys are giving me help though, I'm learning a lot about the style which is what I wanted to do in the first place, so thanks. The ending is cop-out, I'll come up with somethin new. A common opinion is the lead takes too long to come in, I'll look into condensing it. Interestng that you think I could pull off another minute or two... I look into it. I haven't used some of the source yet, so we'll see. Another thing i'm going to do is make some different leads for each section, to make it more interesting. I'll post an update soon with some improvements.

Ok, updated first post with a proper hostage now. Tbh I haven't done any substancial production apart from the obvious things cause I'm a bit out of my comfort zone with this one, so I'll definately try out those things you suggested. Thanks for the advice (and lols at first comment :3).

You don't have to, it just gives you the option. Ps1 has a small memory cache for remembering wtf is going on when you open the disc cover I think. In some games you can open it and shut it (ie mid battle during FF7 is a trick for abusing regen for a full heal) and it will *hopefullY* continue normally.

I made this.... uh.... this morning... Thought I'd try a new style I'm not too used to. It's got a bit from Feel My Blade aswell (which is stolen from the highwind tune from FF7 anyway). It's all done in reason. I wanna submit this, cause its not too bad imo, I just need to know if anyone sees much wrong with it. You know, this would make an awesome site project. Get 10+ people to make a mix and then you could put them all together like that. Blind would be a very good person to ask to help you out there, his trance is the shizzle.

Say "UNTS UNTS UNTS UNTS" out loud and you have a typical drum pattern (The UN being a bass drum and the TS being an open hat). I think he means they release boring typical techno or something.

Those are real guitars. There's pretty much no such thing as a good guitar synth, you could always get someone on here and ask them to play guitar for you.

Ok yeah, sorry. I did actually start one, I got right to the end and I had afrigging powercut, of all the times, and lost everything because i'm an idiot who doesn't save very often. I'll put another one together tomorrow.

I decided I've been trying to hard to ReMix lately, and so I've vowed to spend some time writing a 10 or more track personal project album just for fun. I've setup a myspace to blog the project and also to see if people care enough for me to give the whole thing a proper mastering and then maybe setup a nice iTunes thing for it. That's way off into the future though, I've just finished the first track that I called Bubble. It's a nice quirky thing in 7/8 and 3/4. I think it's pretty good for 2 days work.
