Hey dudes. Assuming your track list on page 1 is up to date, whoever was doing sephiroths theme gave up on it... Would it be possible for me to scoop it up? I feel like a challenge.

Ok cool, we got lots of stuff going on here, with lots of good forwards momentum happening, WIPs rolling in on their 2nd/3rd versions already, but we still have a number of people not shown anything. They are: Electric Concerto Avaris Cocaine white the-almighty-tallest POCKETMAN thesamareaye Scardism Some of you doesn't really count because you've only joined recently. I know the WIP date is far away, but we can whoop this project out in a few months imo. I'm particularly anxious to hear from the-almighty-tallest. You have two tracks claimed, which means you've got the most to do, although I am gonna be helping you out on the main theme, so it's not too much of a problem, but still. We've given you guys a huuuuuge time frame for this first WIP, which means you have no excuses for missing it, so be smart and get it in early and get it out of the way. I should also note to people interested in mixing: We only have two tracks left: Lethal Lava Land - I'm not going to lie, the source is a bitch, anyone up for the challenge? I know Prophet Of Mephisto expressed an interest, still around? Stage Boss - This has loads of room for arrangement, being quite simple. Anyone?

This sounds like a fun idea. I don't know if I qualify though. I have a song in the judging cue at the moment that you may have heard already (its called "Battle Of The Badge" if you haven't). I spoke to zircon and he said it was pretty good, what do you think LT? If not, thats cool; just showing my interest. EDIT: If i'm in, Track 1 off Silver Surfer, for the love of god. That is the most awesome thing I've heard like ever. I'd frigging love to do that track. I'm gonna do it regardless of wether or not I'm in.

May aswell put everything I have to do in one place. ATM: Finish Dire Dire Dock's ReMix for amazing project. Re-Master Shevat for Xenogears. Wait for judging on current Pokemon mix. Stuff I might/want do: Finish the Lavender Town theme for pokemon project. Solo guitar thing for Faraway Promise on Xenogears. Re-master my FF7 competition submission and submit it. Finish this Zelda collab with Pixie. Finish that Protoman ReMix I did for DoD I never entered. My FF8 supermix has been loitering for a while. Stuff For Other People: Record guitars for Jaroban's Pokemon track. Put a click track on Tesor Interdit for the other dudes. Write and record some guitar for RK, he's been waiting long time. Record guitars for aj on his pokemon track. Re-Record the solo on Prophets LA mix. Friggin hell I need to stop signing up for stuff.

At first, I didn't like this at all, mostly because the source is my favourite track of the entire game, and I didn't like the mood shift. Having spent the last few days listening to this, I will concede it has grown on me rather a lot, and it is an awesome piece of work. Job well done.

Guitar is very hard to pull of synthetically. There's no "awesome" set of samples that sound great automatically, you need to put loads of effort into sequencing even the best sets. Your better off getting someone to record some real ones for you.

I don't think this sounds too generic at all. This is very hard stuff to pull off well, I think you've nailed it. The sitar was a bit cheesy though... (By the way, if the guitar part is as simple as it sounds, I could put something together in like 20 minutes if you told me what it was, just a thought.)

I have an AMD Sempron 2500. My PC is not what I would call up to date with newer PCs. It can out perform our 1.6 GHz laptop, but thats to be expecteed. I doubt it could take a dual core processor. I'm really not interested in buying a new motherboard because the one I have at the moment can house all the old type cards I bought for it. I've upgraded pretty much everything on it. Do you know any processors which are likely to be easily replacable with the one I have? (BTW, my motive for this is actually so I can use FL, because at the moment it's just an utter chore. Reason works perfectly though...)
