Hey guys, as i said, I'm still in for a different track on this, but I can't think of any bosses to do, is there anything you can think of for a guitar based mix? Also, if any help is needed on the sephy mix or gary oak I'm available for that. Sorry about the fuss over dark force.

PC mics dont need one for recording (i guess they use a tiny internal one but whatever ) I'll be expecting a guitar mix from you soon.

I suppose in essence what i do is similar to what Tacuer does. Guitar > Line6 Spider212 (which is basically a modelling thing) > DI to Sound card If your wanting to use lots of distortion (like me) I discovered that the noise problem can be fixed simply by changing where you play. If i face my computer i get fuzz, If i turn around or sit further away i get none. Cable interference or something, but you don't always have to comprimise tone for noise reduction, and its not always something you have to spend money on. Obviously fuzz can also come from faulty cables, good just to check. If you get it just normally while you play through the amp its easier to spot. In that case you'll want to play with a clean tone and use a good vst modeller like taucer says. I do also have an SM57, but without a proper pre-amp its near-on uselss as you have to boost it so much or record at arrestable levels. I'm sure with the right sutff its probably a better alternative.

When it's in a suitable form, midi or whatever, can i see the awekening arrangment at all, cause i think you said you wanted help with that. I have a pretty good prog background for input.

Tauce: I really don't know why theres only one remix from that series. Incredibly funky stuff. I'm busy, but if there isn't one given a few months, I will end up running one.

There are loads of other games that would deserve a project which have barely been touched at all. Personally, I'd be much more glad to see a Toejam and earl project or a shadow of the colosus one maybe.

My personal favourite of the project, awesome from start to finish. That tempo change was so smoothly done, completely unexpected. Blows me away every time.

I was already putting something together with sephfire hopefully for birth of a god :/. Haven't mailed him in a while though, I have an intro promo guitar track ready but thats it atm.

If i may, I would like to have a a go at the Lance Battle track from Gold silver as a second track. I've already had a play with it, it looks like great fun. I was gonna do lavender town but i went off it after a while. Count on a midi or something soon.

Just to clarify, we're using the old forum again right? Either way i've updated my track slightly. So if we have some webspace together now, and our artist and someone with web design skills have returned, what say we take some steps towards a bit of an official page?

Yeah, I should probably explain. Yes it is 99% done, and andy is just tweaking it for completion atm. We haven't replied yet because we're still not sure what we want to do with it yet. We're much further along than most people, and we have no idea how long the entire project is gonna take, it just seems a shame that its gonna sit there finished for what could be a very very long time without being heard. The best idea we've come up with so far is this: We wanted to take this track off the project and then instead, make a new track for the project later on. This way, me and andy can finally get something on OCR, and the project would still get a track from us also, although we havent thought about what track we would do instead. This is of course assuming that our track got accepted, we can't be sure but we're fairly confident its a solid arrangement with good production. Oh and Pi_R_[]ed, i heard you thought this was a bad idea, but i'm not sure what the problem is, as i said, we're more then willing to do another track for the project at some time. Perhaps you would like to hear the track first? It might not even fit in with what you want. Sorry about the fuss.

Pu_freak: hrm, i love your arrangement ideas, but the final thing has huge timing issues, far too quirky in general. I am pretty sure its under the bar in that respect. I am however going to suggest that you should definately arrange a full solo piano piece for this track, as that would give you have rubatic (thats a word, honest) freedom. Or on the other hand you could perhaps arrange it for someone else to produce. I do really like your arrangement though. Wait and see what the damned and the prophet think.
