  1. Does it still contain all that Fat Man goodness? Also, do the FMV's still take forever? I remember hating how long I had to wait for them to finish so I could get on with whatever puzzle I was doing.
  2. Main lead is a little bit generic, but the background is pretty chill. A little more variation in the harmonies when the melody isn't present would be nice. 1:50- onwards is a good groove. A little bit more playing with that lead synth to make it more interesting would be great and do wonders for this mix.
  3. Hey, all fellow artists, remember to vote as well. We have enough entries to make it worth it!
  4. Less Ashamed of Self: Boss Butt Final - http://olremix.org/remixes/348
  5. Okay, I have some time set aside for trying to oneshot this a cappella. Hopefully, 30 minutes is enough to get something done.
  6. I REALLY wish that my mouse was still in commission for this one. I love the Ghost Ship Shuffle. Really, I love Michael Land, Peter MConnell and Clint Bajakian. I might even attempt to do some a capella for this one.
  7. I'll probably be doing this just for fun. I can't encode at 320 kbp/s or you know, actually produce. It's the thought that counts right?
  8. Solar Man - Actually, this one is less of a remix and more of an amusing Remake.Pump Man Nitro Man Hornet Man Medley: Seriously, there are a lot of terrible mixes to wade through on youtube, but occasionally you'll run across some fun ones.
  9. Mmmmm... I love me some Color Theory and Temple Scene, in addition to all the OCRtists on the album.
  10. Your lead in the opening is really bright, loud and consistent. I would enjoy more playing around with its timbre and register. Pads are a bit on the blandish side. That synth strings build towards the end needs something more. More presence, maybe something small moving in the background, but all alone it sort of falls flat. Bass could use a tiny bit more presence. A little bit more variation in the piano arpeggios (occasional switch ups, syncopations, fun panning) would be excellent additions. Good luck, you have a pretty solid base here.
  11. Really digging Die Anyway/ Anyhow, I'm a cheaparse at the moment, but all the songs included sound fine to me (i.e. not gimped).
  12. It's not that we're ignoring this, it's just that it's pretty time consuming and daunting for any one person. Maybe a thread similar to the OCR Mascot project is in order?
  13. It's actually all of my USB ports on my laptop which are fried. They can't read anything at the moment and are taking away my mouse abilities (since the touchpad is out of commission as well). Technically, I could still enter with only keyboard-piano; but I'd have to play it perfectly in order for anything I create to be listenable.
  14. So, my mouse is out of commission for the time being, rendering me unable to make music. I shall withdraw my entry into this field until I get a new one. Apologies, Darkesworde.
  15. Sagat's Theme. That can't be any normal measuring.
  16. Mids are fighting each other during the intro, making it sound cluttered. I might be wrong about it being mids, though. Really digging the groove you've set up here and hope to see more work with subtle panning changes and little details, since you seem to have a good grasp on arrangement and structure thus far.
  17. http://compo.thasauce.net/files/Chickenwarlord_-_Los_Angeles_Lag(PRC151).mp3 Always meant to finish this one, but I will never recreate the workflow or feel I had while doing it. Another one left unfinished in a very similar style. http://compo.thasauce.net/files/Chickenwarlord_-_Muddled_Bay(PRC165).mp3 Just blah all around. http://compo.thasauce.net/files/Chickenwarlord_-_Mild_Cold_Boogie(PRC176).mp3 Pretty near to a midi rip with some added stuff. http://compo.thasauce.net/files/Chickenwarlord_-_Fluffy_White_Things_Man(PRC116).mp3 Should probably revisit this one.
  18. So I totally screwed up on this one. I'll probably polish mine a bit more before posting it here. Anyways, voted and whatnot.
  19. Well I know I didn't win anything. Looking forward to hearing the other entries though.
  20. The guitar is a popping out a bit too far in the early mix, IMO. Near the beginning it feels like the strings jutting out awkwardly (I think you should keep them center panned until the mix fills up and see if that helps them feel less distant) from the background, but as the track progresses that is fixed. Seems like once you get everything going it gels really well, but there are some soundscape hiccups along the way. Great use of panning and volume on the arpeggios.
  21. He has done music for quite a few H-games if I'm remembering that Bible Black request thread correctly, so encouraging Loli perverts is not new territory for him.
