  1. Not a lot of creativity there last night. Will try something now.
  2. Nothing but sweet summer breeze touches my lips, My mind, in the moment of sweet distraction. A wispy playfulness, fluid, gentle passing. A sour note plays in the background, smoke Clouds that swift moment of isolation. A round trip ticket to a daydream is far Too expensive for the time spent there. Even my imagination has to watch Its slowly lightening piggy bank.
  3. It doesn't seem that way. I have some free time tonight. I'll see if I can get anything going.
  4. I would totally play Argument Champion. I imagine it would be a more chaotic and freeform Phoenix Wright.
  5. http://compo.thasauce.net/rounds/view/PRC114 A couple of remixes from the Sacred Stones soundtrack. http://www.ocremix.org/remix/OCR01287/ Posted Ocremix.
  6. The entire point of playing Sonic is not to win, it's to be as annoying as possible. Get a 1 stock lead if you can and then spend the rest of the time dodging and taunting. It's what Jesus would do.
  7. Man, I should not enter more often. We get WAAAAY more entries that way .
  8. Drum is right. Learning about 15 instruments minimum, being able to read/transcribe music on the fly, composing in different styles, knowing the differences between eras of early music and practicing your given instrument + vocals takes a large amount of work. Ironically, most of the physics majors I know find their homework to be tediously easy since it comes so naturally to them.
  9. Hazama's Genso Suikoden is extremely relaxing. Just Chill by the Pancake Chef Another Inspiration by Scott Peeples Klutz's 600 A.d. In Piano Morning Sunlight by Sephfire and SirRus. There are plenty more, but ultimately it is you who decides what is relaxing. I know some things that relax me, make others tense.
  10. I'd imagine that the community here would be willing to compose for any type of indie game. Though, no one is likely to be interested unless you have a demo, or at least something to show how far you are in development. Not a good strategy to just waltz in and say "I am thinking about making a game, need music plz." And I'm fairly sure that if the game maker offered compensation that there would be a lot of interest from the talent pool.
  11. Cobalt deserved more points . Congrats to Linkjing on VICTORY (though Death will come to claim you sooner or later for stealing his show).
  12. I am so in for "Hello! Fat Chocobo". Going to work on it right now. It will be bizarre.
  13. Captain Novolin = assault to all things good. Family Dog was atrocious. Ignition Factor is kind of bad.
  14. I'm kind of sad that The End of Love and Flight of the Dragon didn't place higher. Good luck to y'all next month.
  15. Phijayy, you could judge over 2000 songs in a single channel during the prelims and not run across your song once. The top 20 selections are largely in part made by the masses who are unaware of your work. I know you might feel that your chances are being narrowed by the fact that OCR artists are getting votes from their fanbase. EVERYONE who enters lowers your chances. If you look amongst the contestants there are other bands and artists (such as Admiral Twin) who are consistently making top 20 all around. Success isn't generally a fluke. I highly encourage people to go in blindly to this and just vote for what they think is better. You might be surprised how many times that goes in OCR's favor this late in the game, regardless of previous fandom.
  16. DID SOMEONE SAY MIDI-RIP? I am so there. Working on a short entry soon. Edit: So, this entry proves that I can neither improvise nor play the piano in real life. I should stick to just laying every note down in Garageband.
  17. Haha, I totally thought mine would be the only MSpaint entry.
  18. $1 at EBgames bought me: Lords of Magic Special Edition Sid Meier's Pirates Gold Earthsiege 1 and 2 Some Looney Tunes game for Gameboy Floppy version of LOOM Descent and a Gameboy Cleaner pack. Best deal ever.
  19. Jewbei, although not an Ocremixer is fairly active in the VG Arrangement arena as well. He's also in the quarterfinals competing in Techno/Club/Dance.
  20. YE SHALL RECEIVE! Fairly nice version done by JMR. http://compo.thasauce.net/rounds/view/FBRC2008 Just search through the list, and you'll find it.
