I'm gonna guess money isn't so much an issue with AD. Although I own a PS3, I'm probably not really qualified to talk about it much because I've only owned a few PS3 games - I use mine to play mostly PS2 games, with the only other game getting significant play being Super Stardust HD from the PS Store. I will say though that I've gotten great amounts of gaming on the 360. Others mentioned Lost Odyssey & Tales of Vesperia for JRPGs, with Mass Effect (I haven't played my copy yet). Star Ocean 4 is on the 360 if you care about that series too. There's also a much better selection of games on XBLA than the PS Store. The blu-ray player is something great to have though, and probably would appeal to you. Heck, the PS3 is worth a purchase just as a cheap blu-ray player.

I had installed a beta version of SourceMod at one point to fix some plugins that became broken with TF2 patches. Also although I'm back, I probably won't be on TF2 for a little while because I have a lot of stuff I need to do here. Hopefully Powerlord has been doing a good job maintaining everything.

I could push the BBQ back if people want - Neko & Ashamee seem to not be able to get here for the original date .

Bumping it up - BBQ is still on! I've just been on the internet sporadically while on the east coast, but now I'm back in Illinois. I have a little more cleanup left that's contingent on my landlord moving two items out, so everything should be nice and ready. For those interested in sleeping over - I highly recommend bringing blankets and/or sleeping bags, since the AC can make it quite cool in the morning to say the least. I *could* raise the temperature for the apartment for the night if people so desire though.

Ugh, that mapcycle looks terrible. Definitely an easy way to chase out a lot of the regulars even .

Am I the only one who thinks the latter watch is the better choice? Although quite frankly, both are still too cheap to really be a significant factor in terms of appeal.

If I play too much Tetris Attack/Planet Puzzle League/any of its variants, I think of various scenarios mentally & think on how to handle them. The image is so intense in my mind it tends to stop me from thinking about anything else .

From what I gather, Xenogears will be the next one released, with DKC 2 towards the end of the year.

Amtrak is expensive - you don't want to do it, it can cost $200+ for roundtrip just from those cities.
