Great update overall, although I was hoping Goro woulde be a playable character. I really like this Assist character idea even if it is very similar to pokeballs. This reminds me of Marvel vs. Capcom where some of the lesser characters can be picked as assist characters to aid you during battle. Maybe gombas, octrots, redeads, metroids will show up as assist characters.

Does anyone here know when or if Sony is ever going to stop putting the Emotion engine in their PS3's, and yes I did read but I couldn't find an answer through the whole 322 pages. Maybe I missed it ? I heard they were dropping support after April but I see no evidence that they actually have yet. Anyway I ask because I want to buy a PS3 but I care alot about backwards compatiblity. I know the new PS3's are going to use software emulation but there list is really small and I doubt some of my favorite rare and not-so-popular games will ever make the list. So if the PS3 already has or is going to drop the emotion chip before the fall, then I am thinking of buying a an older model which brings me to my next question. What is the SCPH for the PS3s with the emotion egine? Basically any launch window PS3. An answer, if possible, is much appreciated.

Its sort of ironic that he was part of a group named the radicals when seeing his possible motives makes him look like a radical. Off subject, Benoit was part of the four horsemen at one point.

That is another thing that bothers me, everything so far seems to have been handled by the local police. I am sorry to say this but the local police just aren't reliable. They mostly just go in take fingerprints and provide information. They need someone better on this. And also, I am not in denial because there isn't much to deny. If you read what I said, you would know that I think it will most likely and up that Benoit did do all this as much as I dislike it. But there is still more info and more investigating that needs to get done before they completely solve this case. Cases like these can take weeks to solve. Also considering that Benoit is a little more well-known than your average person, I am sure someones going to continue this case until it is solved completely. Also like I said before, the autopsy results haven't even come yet which alone means they aren't even sure how they all died and how long they were dead for. More needs to be done before anyone can say what happened for sure.

I still have a hard time believing Benoit actually did this, but I also think their is a slight chance that something else happened rather than a murder-suicide. First off I just don't see any kind of motive. Being ECW champion doesn't sound like something Benoit would be unhappy about. Also his text messages seemed like a desperate peel for help. Third, no aputopsy results have come in. Finally, despite what the investigators say, they don't really know what happened. No suicide note, recording, or video evidence was left and being as the family is dead, they can't ask anyone to actually find out what happened. They aren't even going to investigate outside the house. They just simple have no exact proof that Benoit did all this and as unlikely as it sounds it could have been easily framed to make it look like Benoit did all this. If they had a sucide note or video tape it would another story but right now they haven't presented much other than a very well speculated theory. Benoit probably did do all this, but I still think is hard to actually go by what the press has been saying and I still believe there is a possibility that something else might have happened

I really like how this music sounds. It also seems more like stage BGM than the other samples that were given. Maybe this is the BGM for a new redesigned Zelda stage.

Right now, the investigation is only being treated as a possible murder suicide, nothing is confirmed. Also my father, who has some very extensive knowledge in law, says police departments and investigators tend only to give one side of the picture to the public to keep them from speculating. It is possible that they are investigating other possible causes. Also, the thing that bothers me the most was the fact that Benoit texted his friends (wasn't clear which ones) to come to his house because something was wrong. It seems like something else may have been going on. This can be found at the WWE press release which many have already posted a link to. I also don't see any motive for Benoit murdering his family. Lets say his wife cheated on him or something like that, why kill Daniel. Also this seems like it was planed which doesn't make sense to me as Benoit was actually doing fine in WWE at the moment and he was about to win the ECW title. I just don't see why he would do that. Right now I don't think its safe to pass judgement. We need some more concerte info.

I didn't think anyone else here liked wrestling but that doesn't seem to be the case. I will miss Benoit. He was one of if not the best Wrestler I have ever seen in my life. Very talented. I really hope this doesn't turn out to be a murder-suicide. And about the whole McMahon death storyline, from what I heard, they are completely dropping it. McMahon also made an appearance on tonights RAW, showing he was alive and well. It would seem silly to continue it after that.

Man, I am loving the characters more and more every time I see them. They all look really good, both the renders and the screens. Zelda is no exception. I am glad they are using her Twilight Princess design. I would also have to agree with the others in that it would be wierd to have her transform into Sheik. Anyway, seeing as they decided to use the TP designs for Link and Zelda, I think they might do the same for Ganodorf. I think his TP design is very cool and I would personally love to see that design in Brawl.

Man this arena looks awsome. Its going to be real fun fighting as the stage goes through asteroid fields. The effects look very well done. These screens prove the Wii is capable of some nice looking graphics.

I love this idea. I can't wait to here all the arrangements, especially Lost Woods.

I am agianst the idea of having cutscenes in 4 player mode. In single player or 1 on 1 it wouldn't be so bad, it would actually look pretty cool. But like people said before, having a cutscene during a 4 player could screw up someone's momentum, break a combo, or cause someone to die and that would be quite irritating. I think the screens where zoomed in to show the detail of the move. I doubt it will be like that in the actual game but who knows for sure until it comes out.

Capcom just released the first Guile sprite art for SFIIT HD Remix on Friday. I must say I really like the way these sprites are turning out. I am glad someone else can see what I see in Metroid Prime 2. Yes, it isn't better than Metroid Prime 1 but it is still very good. Glad you enjoyed it. I also think I know which boss fight your talking about with the Seeker missiles. And to Sephire, I am all for another thread. I promise you I will stay with it, if that means much. I personally like critiquing games, and I think its fun, not a chore like others feel it is. So if you do decide to do another thread, I am behind it and you will get my support.

Samus looks awsome. I was worried about how she would look when they first revealed that CG render of her way back at E3 last year. I thought she was going to look dull and plain like she was in Melee. Now, her suit looks much shinner and the colors are more saturated. It also looks (just speculating) like she moves more elegantly. I actually thought I was looking at Metroid Prime 2 screens the first time I saw those screens. Also, as some said before, the polys look really good on her. I don't think they are dropping the polygon count.

Good point about the Kirby thing, although it would be hard to pull off as kirby only copies part of the costume and I made the post before I read what you said about the costumes. See that wasn't so bad. Try lightening up a little, its not going to hurt you. Also when ever you make a theory or bring up idea, expect people to make a big deal about it. Look happened with what I said about Ridley. I knew it would happen but I was still wishing people would have ignored it or let it be.

Dude, you need to stop lashing out at people. Nobody ment any harm by it. You need to stop generalizing too. If I recall, I said the whole different costumes idea wouldn't fit well with Zero Suit Samus. I never said nothing about Bikini Samus. Believe me, I am completely agianst that as well. There are other Non-bikini offits Samus has had in the metroid games. Also, to Arek and Zero, I never said anything about different costumes being confirmed. I just said, if the idea where included, it would make more sense to have Zero Suit Samus's name changed. You don't agree with it, thats just fine. It just sounds weird to me particularly as I am a huge Metroid fan, and the name really only refers to her playable incarnation in Zero Mission. Besides I am starting to think this costume thing won't work. Kirby won't have any other costumes.

Its the original power suit. It appears in the first metroid, zero mission, and prime. I'm sure about Super Metroid though. The one she wheres most of the time is the Varia Suit, which is the one with the big shoulders. Its actually an upgrade to the power suit. Also, like I said before, yes Zero Suit samus could half other costumes but then the name just wouldn't sound right. Maybe they will change her name to Armorless Samus or something.

I'm in favor of different costumes as well. I have alwasy thought that would be something neat. Being able to play as Samus with her old power suit and Link with his Ocarina of Time design. Although it could be hard to do with some characters like Kirby and Zero-Suit Samus. Zero Samus could have different costumes herself but then she wouldn't be Zero-Suit Samus anymore.

Do you have a problem with people stating their opinions. I was merely saying why I "think" it would be unlikely. I never said "Impossible!" "Brawl will suck if it isn't authentic". I just think if Ridley where to be in the game, it should be authentic. That is my opinion and I am free to express whether you like it or not Mr. Zero. So stating why I "think" Ridley is an unlikely character is now considered a crime. Arrest me then because I am not taking back what I said. Also I did read RD's post. He brings up a good point except its not entirely accurate. Both Ridley and Kraid are only small in the NES version because of its technical limitations. Ridley has been much bigger in the rest of the games, most notably Zero Mission. Although he did seem to get really big in Prime. Also Browser is pretty huge in Melee. He doesn't really look any smaller to me, but thats just what I think. But who really cares now. If Ridley is in the game, fine, not a problem with me. I will still the buy the the second It is avialable and I am sure most of you will do the same. PS: Glad to see you actually quoted me this time.

I just really think Metroid Prime 2 should be on the list. Thats why I wish someone else would vote yes for it. I however, never demanded someone vote yes or even stated "Don't bother voting if you didn't like the game". It is just wishful thinking on my part to hope someone else liked the game. I am sorry if it came out as favoritism like comment. The main reason MP 2 not making the list bothers me so much is because when people see it on the majority no list they will think its not worth their time and they will probably decide not to play it. I think anybody with a gamecube should just try out the game. If you don't like it fine. Also you seem to miss the point about why I got a little angry. You accused me of not reading (which by the way isn't true, I read every single entry since the day I first posted) when it is actually you guilty of that. I dislike when people think they know something and they really don't. You assumed I was just rattling on about my favorite games , which was entirely wrong. You should have done your homework and read just like you stated before. You could have also worded your message differently by putting something like "The way you said this made it seem like you where picking favorites". That would have been much better than just accusing me of listing favorites. Agian, learn to quote so people actually know who you are addressing your comment too. I get the point entirely. I have been with this thread since before the rivisions where ever made. Now, I don't know if you where commenting on what I said about Daxter or Metroid Prime 2 (you really need to learn how to quote). In the case of Daxter, maybe the game really is good and worth the time of us hardcore gamers. I am just trying to encourage someone to comment on it. In the case of Metroid Prime 2, I honestly think Metroid Prime 2 has "Must-Have" status. This game is great and it pains me to see other games not even on the same level as MP 2 (in my opinion) like Mario Kart DD. If you had READ this thread you would have known that I voted NO to 2 of my favorite games because I didn't believe they where good enough to be must haves or the audience they appeal to is very narrow. I have also voted yes to at least 3 games that I personally don't like. If was honestly just listing my favorite games, why would I have voted No to 2 of my favorites and vote Yes to 3 that I dislike. It seems to me that you should be the one that does more reading.
