  1. Interesting DnB/dubstep take on this source -- the drums are very well executed. Super tight production. The choice of synths/bass is excellent too, it creates an interesting soundscape. Nice work!
  2. Not bad, it sounded rather simple to my ears. The drum work is interesting, don't know what time signature it is though. Also, LOL @ fade-out ending Not a fan but decent remix.
  3. Excellent remix, the performance is great and the production on the instruments is super clean. There's a lot of nostalgia/melcholy in this piece, but I really love it. The later parts of this remx are AWESOME. Will come back to this one a few times for sure!
  4. Very nice and energic one. I got an "epic feeling" listening to this one, even if it didn't have a big orchestra. There's a big "flying" vibe as well. The percussion work is excellent as well. Nice job!
  5. Oh yeah, this is a nice combination of themes! The intro is fantastic, and later on, it gets a lot groovier. The samples are a little vanilla, but they really fit and are well used. Nice job!
  6. Nice ambiance/atmospheric one. The sound design is interesting, and the arrangement is beautiful. Not a lot to say here, it's a pretty simple remix. But a beautiful one.
  7. Very nice. It reminds me a lot of another older remix from AmIEvil I think. The insturmentation is great, even if the guitar tone was too fuzzy to my ears. Love the cool atmosphere it creates -- a really nice one!
  8. Ah, I knew there was some AC in here! This is superb -- the arrangement itself is great, the performances are excellent, and the overall atmosphere is perfect. A great remix from several good people! Nice job!
  9. France represent! Nice collab between Sim and Carbo, very rocky and with a few nice additions like the organs + synths. Some parts really sounded like Symphony of the Night's Tragic Prince. Love it -- beau travail, les gars
  10. Finally saw it yesterday evening. I really liked it, but there were too many references to the original trilogy, just as if they were trying too hard. Other than that, it was very enjoyable. A strong 8/10.
  11. So you finally sub'd it, eh? I love it, the soundscape is awesome, the ear candy is real, and it's a really unique take on the source. Production is super tight too. I'll come back to this one a few times for sure!
  12. Almost at 150! I need to thank this train trip that allowed me to listen to a lot of mixes and write down on paper lots of reviews. Still a lot to put back on the forums. I hope I can reach 200 before leaving for the holidays.
  13. This is very energic without being super fast. The sound design is excellent, especially during parts like 1:35. The guitars added a lot of depth to the overall mix, plus some bass too. The chilly atmosphere is respected, bonus points lol Nice job, Tim, keep 'em coming.
  14. Oh, this is interesting. Love the percussion work and the melodic percussion/vibraphone thing. The blend with chiptune is nicely done and executed. The production is excellent as well. The soundscape is filled with ear candy. Overall, this is a super nice remix, with a lot of surprises. Nice work!
  15. The guitars were a little too high-mixed to my ear -- the mix too, it lacked in the bass department -- but it's a damn nice arrangement. The 80's synths added a lot to it. If the mixing could be improved a little, that'd be a very awesome track -- still is!
  16. Wow, this is excellent. I love this remix. The instrumentation is awesome, love the "chilly/ice" percussion, it's so creative. The vocals were a nice addition. The samples are nice, and it's super groovy/jazzy. Love it, more pls pls pls!!
  17. Very groovy. The beat/bass combo worked very well. There's a lot of ear candy here and there -- I liked the trance-y and chiptune-y synths. It was quite simple, but I enjoyed this remix. Very nice job, Tim!
  18. The guitar tone is excellent here. Cyril's vocals really fit well -- sounds like an anime opening. Great rhythm and nice variations in the arrangemen -- the breakdown(s) added a lot to the track's pace. Excellent work!
  19. Nice blend of chiptune with more 16-bit-sounding samples. The beat and bass did the track -- super groovy. The intro -- and some other parts -- definitively had a Faster Than Light influence/vibe. The outro was fantastic. Nice job to both of you guys!
  20. Interesting remix, but not a big fan here. The choice of synths is okay to me. It sounded quite repetitive to me, but was quite groovy. Some parts with the piano were a little better IMO. Didn't do it for me, but nice work nethertheless!
  21. Nice groovy remix. The intro is nice -- the lo-fi samples do their work with the chiptune. Less a fan of the later synths. That arrangement didn't do much for me, it was really simple and expected. Nice work though!
  22. Wow, I wasn't expecting vocals -- they're cool. The arrangement is great. It's a super nice rock/hard rock cover, with plenty of new ideas. The chorus is very catchy. The breakdown was a nice section too. The solo work is excellent. Very nice job from The Megas!
  23. There's a big Super Mario 3D World influence here. This remix is super funky and very energic. It's sometimes a little messy, but overall this is a great arrangement. Not sure about the voice samples, but everything else was at the right place. Nice job!
