  1. Hey Bahamut, are you still looking to sell your Mac?
  2. Alright, I am going to do 2 things; 1. I am going to suggest sometime 2 weeks from now for the second viewing party. 2. I am going to ask someone else to coordinate it, as I will probably not be online again until 2 weeks from now when my honeymoon is over. So basically figure out when you all would want to do a second one. Someone will step up and organize it. If it hasn't happened by the time my honeymoon is over, I'll chime in and organize it sometime shortly after. If next week works best, we can do that. If 3 weeks works best, we can do that. I don't think it should be more than a month from now though. Anyways. I might be online again in the next day or so, but if not, good luck everyone! Peace! EDIT - IF it can get decided quickly, I'll update the thread in the community section too with the correct date and time of the second vp.
  3. So far we only have one entry, and If that remains the case, we certainly don't need another channel, #ocremix will be sufficient! SEE YOU IN AN HOUR!
  4. EDIT: its over now. WE HAVE A WINNER! setzertrancer stole the show with his HE ALSO SINGLE HANDEDLY KEPT THIS EVENT ALIVE because he was the only entry this time around! There were a number of people who did not quite finish up before the deadline. We kept the original deadline to honor the one dude who made it in time. HOWEVER, we will be having a 2nd viewing party within the next few weeks, featuring the videos of all those who needed that extra week. We already have one extra video ready to go. GET YOUR VIDS FINISHED! ______________________________________________________________________________ Aight forks, its that time again. The 2nd rendition of the OCR Community Music Video Challenge is drawing to a close. Even as I type, hundreds of community members can be found frantically cutting and pasting and adding fadeouts and credits of all sorts. Or maybe not. NEVERTHELESS, you should be excited. Heres why. OCRMV is a triannual event. It happens thrice as many times per year as your birthday does. It is probably just as important as an event, and it will likely be better attended! It features your favorite OCR Music! It features pro video editing and directing from several of this communities finest members! They have had 4 months to GO HARD on these projects, so you KNOW it's gonna be great! Right? RIGHT?! Most of all, it is guaranteed to be lots of SO MAKE SURE YOU JOIN US ON IRC TOMORROW at 9PM eastern time for the viewing party!
  5. RIGHT! So! Upload your videos to youtube at any point from now on, but please don't spread it yet. email/pm me the link to your video so I can make a playlist. Thanks guys, looking forward to it! Spread the word!
  6. We're still a green for tomorrow, as per the deadline. If its a sucky turnout, we'll talk about a potential secondary viewing party for those who almost finished and don't want to wait until new years.

  7. Hey everyone, my sincere apologies for the delayed response. I am getting married in a week and have not been online hardly at all, and only for brief moments. I should have checked in here, I had entirely forgot about this for the last week due to the sheer amounts of other stuff that need to be done. Moving, wedding planning, etc. Enough excuses. I would like to stick with the viewing party date and time. Even if we only have a few entries, that is okay. Those who are not quite done yet have two options. 1. HUSTLE 2. Have a secondary viewing party a week or two down the road, for those who want to finish up. Whether this happens or not will be determined in IRC tomorrow. Those who have finished will not be forced to wait, and even if you are not done, I encourage you to come appreciate their work! I'm stoked to see your vids, I will BE there, with friends gathered around my lappy. Sorry for the frustration and confusion, See you in IRC tomorrow!
  8. Thanks a ton for the Log Mirby, and thanks for everyones participation, though I haven't had a chance to listen yet! Edit: Alright, I read the log on my track. I appreciated the compliments on the ideas I presented, and I've noted all that was said on the production, haha. Sorry for the quietness, I was REALLY rushed toward the end and it showed there. If I get a chance to polish it, I'll do it. I have a lot of growing to do in those areas, haha. Thanks again for everyone's comments and such! I'll do a writeup on the other entries when I do finally listen!
  9. If I drive like a retard, I will make it home for the listening party. Can someone make and post a chat log? That'd be super fantastic.
  10. haha, no doubt. Although I think most of these tracks will be longer than the average OHC entry. I'll likely be driving all tomorrow to get home, I'd love to LP with everyone so I hope that it is not tomorrow! LPs are not the same when you're the only one listening. and partying I'll probably make a playlist to listen and party to when I am driving around.
  11. I got mine in, so did my man JH, which brings us to 12 subs out of 33 entrants. I hope we have a better turnout by tonight! btw, nice sig OA
  12. Just caught up on my mixposts, I was about 70 behind... was listening to random selections on my way home. Still haven't heard them all, but so far this is the pleasant surprise of the bunch. It had my full attention in about 3 seconds and never let it go, had a big grin on my face from start to finish. I supremely enjoyed the subtle variations, and the lead synth melody is killer. I downloaded it yesterday and am in danger of over listening already I look forward to more Hollidayrain in the future!
  13. Bliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiind
  14. I haven't even posted in this thread for probably...a month? Got engaged not two months ago and am getting married not 3 weeks from now. I sure hope to find time to shoot my video. I got a fun idea I could do in a day if the right people are available. haha, I hope it works.
  15. that makes me feel good, haha! I should be back on IRC and in the OHC scene come the advent of school again After I get married my gear, myself and a faster than dial up internet connection will be unified, and that will make things much easier!
  16. OCRE, that just helpin quote in your sig, he wasn't referencing me was he?
  17. Haha, I hopped on here to find out if I had missed the deadline or had 22 hours more left to try to clean my mix up, but this! This is nice. I'll get after it for sure! Thanks Rama.
  18. Wow, crunch time. Is there a listening party scheduled for this?
  19. I think tomorrow I will work on this all day and see where I get, I don't know if I'll have another chance.
  20. I DJ at weddings a lot and I always sneak in some vg remixes where I can, haha. Some tracks from the Time & Space album from Oneup Studios are regulars, and Matoya's Cave from the Black Mages. I also DJ for Jr. High dances, and I play sound bytes from Videogames during giveaways or draws that happen. I do the "Open Treasure Chest" sound from Zelda 64 followed by the "get large item" sound during draws, and it is SO fun, hahaha. I also will play Name that Videogame song or SFX when I can, and it is also a lot of fun I never ever hear videogame music/remixes anywhere up where I live, at least not randomly anywhere. I would totally lose it if I did. Like the time I saw some kid with a Dragonforce shirt, before their second album had even come out, back when they were fresh and new and WAY before they were popular. I could not believe my eyes. Yeah. If I heard videogame music randomly in the streets of Grande Prairie, I would totally flip out.
  21. Hot out the kitchen! Happy birthday, congrats, and thanks! All the best this year and the years to come!
  22. I found Project Sylpheed for the Xbox 360 to be worth the 15 bucks I paid for it. It was fun, not ground breaking, but I got into it. I will abstain from spewing praise for Half Minute Hero for the PSP, because I am almost certain I've discussed its greatness with you in another thread. If that is not the case, and you haven't played it yet, then put that on the top of your to buy list. You'll love yourself for it.
  23. Alright folks we all know that is a lot of hours. Now. Lets assume that every human being was capable of playing SMB2 since the day of their birth. Lets also now assume that a limitless amount of people could work towards getting the maximum number of lives in SMB2 simultaneously, and that each human being since the dawn of time did in fact contribute 18 hours of every day to the accomplishment of this feat. In one mighty cumulative effort, How long would it take for humanity to reach this goal? Would it have happened before our lifetime? After? perhaps one of us would log that final 1up! Get crackin!
  24. Sometimes I wonder why I love you. And then you do this. And then it is crystal clear.
