Tribes 2 has a new master server! And a FREE DOWNLOAD
Meeting_Gman replied to OverCoat's topic in General Discussion
That sounds like a wonderful idea. Maybe someone could make a Steam group or create a sort of "official" thread here like the TF2 one has. I just need to install the game and the patch. -
So many memories. I remember the boss battle in Super Mario Bros. 3. My mother was giving my siblings a bath, so I had the whole living room to myself. It was so awesome fighting Bowser, such a heart-pounding thrill. (Many years later I'd play this again, only to have a panic attack and have to go to the emergency room XD Totally unrelated to the game though.) During Christmas or Thanksgiving while dinner was being made, I played Super Mario Land 2. So you had the wonderful smell of turkey dinner being cooked while playing a fantastic game. Staying home "sick" from school to play Sonic 3 and S&K. I woke up early one morning to play Ocarina of Time. The Lord Jabu Jabu level and his breathing sound, will stay in my head forever. Late nights playing Phantasy Star Online and becoming addicted to Quake III Arena on Dreamcast and then similarly on PC. Going on a vacation to the beach with my grandparents and ending up spending almost all my time in the arcade playing Tekken 3. I lived with my grandparents for a period and during that time I rented a lot of games for PSX. Some of my most memorable games during this time were Resident Evil, Tomb Raider, Crash Bandicoot and Spider the Videogame. Beating Metal Gear Solid for the first time. A fantastic game with an ending theme that made me cry, as did FFVII. Going to Electronics Boutique in the wee hours of the morning to get my Dreamcast, then coming home and playing Sonic Adventure for the greater part of the day.

I second this recommendation. For some campy goodness, I would suggest Blue Stinger for the Dreamcast and Deathtrap Dungeon for PSX (or PC). Blue Stinger is just bizarre and interesting, it didn't ever really score well, but it's fun!

So far, I think the Tyranids are a bit bland, but what can I say as I haven't even played it! It looks great though and I am completely enjoying Dawn of War at the moment. Here are some videos: http://gamevideos.1up.com/video/id/23108 http://gamevideos.1up.com/video/id/20945

I was just thinking about Tribes the other day, what a great coincidence. -
The Blog Sega doesn't want you to read

It seems this very thing has happened before. There is always some one that comes to the fore front and states, "<game/console name here> wasn't good because <persons name here> ruined it." We went through this with Sonic Extreme and the Sega Dreamcast. There seems to be so much internal squabbling at Sega. Always has been, always will be. -
Your efforts were greatly appreciated, Powerlord! I figured hosting the files on my site would give you a rest and would also be a thank-you to Atmuh. I'm sorry I didn't let you know so you could remove the files from your server. Worthless news is I finished building the computer and am on it now, just waiting for TF2 to download and I will probably be playing it all the remainder of today and then tomorrow. I'm interested to see how it fares. Happy New Years everyone! May you have a happy and healthy new year.

I was given new computer parts, a ceramic heater, a sewing machine and money.

It's really nice on Atmuh's server. It's quite bothersome to only be able to text chat amongst the dead. Powerlord, I was going to post that very clip, but figured I'd show some restraint. Speaking of: Meet the Gumby Sliding Medic Pointless video and it's nothing new, but I wanted to record it nontheless. 1-2 people here may hear themselves in this one.
