No drama necessary... @Meteo Xavier, the website is usually one of the last assets to finalize, and doesn't take that long ASSUMING all the other assets - music, copy, and especially art - exist. We've got a pretty functional & flexible template that I've gotten pretty good at populating & personalizing so that it doesn't feel particularly cookie-cutter, but there would have been no point in attempting to implement that template prior to the other assets being final or VERY close to final.
Examples of the same template, customized for different projects:
http://ff9.ocremix.org/ http://cartography.ocremix.org/ http://shellshocked.ocremix.org/ http://sevensongs.ocremix.org/ http://plumber.ocremix.org/ If you can send me (admin@ocremix.org) what you got, along with all the art, I can 110% take this over, I will *of course* run the final version by project management (as I always do), and it should theoretically be a weight off your shoulders and one less thing to worry about.
SOMETIMES during the course of site development a need for additional artwork might arise, and that's the worst case scenario in terms of (usually minor) delays, so the sooner the better
    Sound good?
I apologize if this suggestion is coming later than you would have liked, but I still feel like it will be the most expedient option and the option that will lead to a website that best reflects the quality of the music - from what I've heard, sounds fantastic.

What's really interesting is that the idea to master the whole album was shot down by G-Mixer because he didn't want anyone messing with his limiter  It's a great album anyway.

Hopefully I can answer with everyone being at MAG, they can correct me if they need to when they get back.
It wouldn't infringe on your "copyrights" but would infringe on the publisher of the original composition, so for everything to be above-board you would need to license the composition from the original publisher. OCR releases the remixes for free in a non-exclusive way, for use in media that is not monetized. To monetize a remix as part of a product (either by OCR or by another entity) without appropriately licensing the material, would infringe on the publisher's rights and they would be entitled to take action against the product. So in short OCR doesn't do it, and you probably shouldn't either, without licensing.
Ask that dev if they'll cover the licensing fee in addition to giving you your payment (not take it from your cut). But if they're trying to get remixes of existing music over twitter that they can just use in their game, they're probably not being too ethical about it. Tho it's not for me to judge.

I didn't know a better place to post this. I don't like navigating new forums or making accounts, but I did so solely so I could tell the artists that created this album how much I appreciate their time/work/dedication that was involved in creating an album that remixed my favorite game soundtrack of all time.
And thanks to the crew of OCR that allowed this amazing collab to happen. I'm sure there are hundreds of other people who think the same, but just don't want to go through the effort to let you all know how amazing an experience you guys brought forth.
Maybe, just maybe, in a decade or so, I'll have the fortitude to try this kind of thing myself to create content for my next favorite game and make a fan like myself.

    Again, Thanks

Besides the copyright angle, this is just sad. Someone with at least a modicum of ability actually sat there and performed these minor alterations. How do they sleep at night? What were they thinking?

Edit: I just realised the guitarist is Bret Garsed.

This arrangement is fantastic!  After about a minute of the song, I was curious how it would sound played on a harpsichord.  Three+ minutes later: screw the harpsichord, you know what you're doing here!  Masterful performance!

Maybe I'm missing something, Meteo, but where did you formally agree with them that all assets you produced were your IP, to be used at your discretion, and that you retained full control over your work? Do you actually have something in writing saying this? Or, do they have something in writing saying that all IP produced for the project is retained by the project and can be used as the project team sees fit? Or do you have nothing at all?
It seems to me that in the absence of a written agreement saying otherwise, you breaking ties with them doesn't mean that they have to stop using music that you produced specifically for the project, even if you request that they do.

Breaking a 'contract' (again, what did you have in writing besides an NDA, which, unless it was more than a standard NDA, would only be related to you revealing their IP to the outside world) doesn't automatically imply they have to stop using your work. If I were to leave my job, my employer isn't required to delete all the code I've contributed to the codebase; is your situation different, and why?

If you have a good, previously-agreed-upon, reason to be sure they have no legal right to use your title theme, you could go after them legally, or not, but you're not going to gain much by going out of your way to slam them other than tarnishing your reputation as well as theirs. I know I wouldn't take a stranger's account of 'they phased me out and wasted my time' as 100% true without strong evidence to back it up; if I was hiring and someone complained in the interview or on the Internet about a previous employer, that would be an immediate red flag and they'd have to have seriously impressive skills, and be able to adequately explain why they complained publicly, in order for me to want to hire them.
And if you don't have a strong reason to go after them legally, you have even less to gain by complaining.

I'd say that if you want to vent anonymously in public, without naming yourself OR the company or giving any details that could really tie them to you, then do so (or, perhaps this thread is all the venting you need). But I think you stand to lose more than you stand to gain by taking things public.

This is what my settings look like in FL right now. The big ones to pay attention to are probably  "Multithreaded generator processing," "Multithreaded mixer processing," and Resampling quality. Bump it down to 6-point Hermite if needed, don't know if that's usually a default or not. You'll also benefit from getting a good external audio interface, as that will ease a bit of the load off your CPU for audio processing.

Also, check and see what your animation settings are at. Lower them if needed, as that will free up unneeded CPU usage.

Finally, unless you're using an SSD for your big samples, that's also probably a huge issue. Streaming stuff off a mechanical hard drive will bring even a supercomputer grinding to a halt, and it's generally better to run your DAW and your samples off separate drives. My C: drive is where I've installed FL Studio (and all my VST plugins), and it's a Samsung 840 SSD. That D: drive is a mechanical hard drive, so it only houses things like short samples (individual drums, breakbeats, etc.) and stems that don't get used often. The E: drive is where I've installed all my EWQL, Kontakt, Omnisphere, UVI, etc. libraries to. It's a Crucial MX200 SSD, and does a fine job keeping those libraries from being a bottleneck.

Many thanks to @Jorito for the amazingly helpful info... turns out it was modsecurity, complaining about any text that included "update" and also had the new "srcset" attribute, which is used for responsive images. I have tweaked the modsec rule to exclude anything that has "src" immediately before "set="... this should fix the problem.
    Sheesh.
