  1. Nice preview! Really, great job to the ReMixers. I'm so amped for this album!
  2. I don't know how to say it, but this rocks. Hard. The solo is just so amazing! Yeah, simple words won't do this ReMix any justice. For a source that was, what, twenty seconds long, this easily tops it and I wouldn't have minded if this was SSF4's theme for a little nostalgia mixed with today. Cool stuff here.
  3. One of Palpable's best ReMixes. The castle themes will always be the best part of Mario games, and this shows why. The mood is perfect and I like the crunchy sounding beats starting from 0:47. It's a great theme all around.
  4. They should have renamed this Super McVaffe World 2. Out of 6 tracks, he's done 4 and they are all awesome! This reminds me of that ragtime song "hello, my honey" or whatever it's called. It is short, but that's the only fault I see. Great piano work and a unique take on the track. Ragtime rocks.
  5. DJP: Mario-Dhalsim Intercontinental Boogie Sounds about right. Just like the rest of the game, this has some pretty nice beats that seem to be on the fine line of energetic and relaxing. I can honestly say that I was surprised with how well this was considering the original didn't seem that great.
  6. Huh. I listened to that after you said it, and it does kinda sound like it. Of course, McVaffe's is better anyway. I was not fond of the caverns theme at all in SMW2 when I first heard it, but this is a masterpiece. I'd expect nothing less from McVaffe
  7. Very beautiful track. I always wanted to make or find a music box that played this so I could play it for the little ones. You know, it bugs me because I could have sworn that the original was based off of a real lullaby, but I can't think of the name for the life of me. The piano work done on this track is very fitting for a relaxing piece like this.
  8. Haha, I'm so glad I looked at the reviews before playing this. No ear blasting for me! Loving the beats there DJP, like a good ol' party filled with happiness. It does sound like a hyperactive verison of the gardens, and it's a good mood pick me up after a long day. Nice stuff!
  9. : With the new PoP movie coming out, I dusted off my SNES and played the original game again for old times sake. But after doing that and looking at this site, I was amazed that there was not one single PoP ReMix on OCR. So just for the sake of suggestion, I'll just throw out a request that if anyone is interested in something new, maybe you should try one of the SNES Prince of Persia themes. Thanks. There's too many to list them all (I think 15 tracks), so I'll just post the best five of the original sources for those who don't know it. The rest are in the related videos field. 10. Very good piece. Brings out the emotion of the original real well and then sends it into overdrive. Sweet stuff here.
  11. Wow, the atmosphere for this ReMix is spectacular. The voices, the vocals, the lyrics, the deep piano all work with this and give it the proper foreshadowing to the "Finale" song. I'm not sure I'd call it creepy, but it gives you tense chiller-like feelings and I like it. OA and DA, nice work on this one!
  12. Very cool. This is one of the best pieces on Echoes with its grand orchestral feeling and length (I thought it went perfectly and didn't drag on like some orchestra songs do).
  13. Whoa, this is awesome! Once again that annoying sound of Baby Mario turned out good in this. Thanks for showing me, Chthonic! Oh, and good job, to both of you!
  14. Yeah! Now we're talking! I love the idea of taking such a slow melody and giving it some life in the form of a rave party. It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but at least it's upbeat and enjoyable.
  15. Hyrule castle in the form of DnB? Interesting. I have to say I like it, and I see a bit of a resemblance to a lot of DnB tunes that I love hearing. Not bad, OCR could always use a little more DnB.
  16. The low health sound. The single most annoying sound I can remember besides Baby Mario's crying and you somehow made it awesome. I commend you for this daring feat. On the other hand, I can't believe I didn't comment on this when it came out. Very cool tune right here.
  17. If there was a top ten list for OverClocked ReMix's best ReMixs, this amazing track would be on it. Seriously, this is sooooo evil sounding, and I love it! The last minute with the "marching" bit was the perfect way to send it off in, like the troopas heading for war one more time. So good.
  18. Very cool verison of the Forest Maze theme. I would have loved for the "woody" sounds to go on for the whole song, but this is great. It's got a very natural feeling flow to it.
  19. I'm really surprised at how well the "Flight of the bumblebee" tune and the Bowser theme go together in this way. Very creative and from 2:47 on are well worth the proper build up it got.
  20. Haha! Oh, this is great. I almost lost it when I heard "Oh Mario you're so fine". Man, that brought a smile to my face. 80's is where it was, is and always will be at, and now even Mario can show it.
