  1. Very good piece. Brings out the emotion of the original real well and then sends it into overdrive. Sweet stuff here.
  2. Wow, the atmosphere for this ReMix is spectacular. The voices, the vocals, the lyrics, the deep piano all work with this and give it the proper foreshadowing to the "Finale" song. I'm not sure I'd call it creepy, but it gives you tense chiller-like feelings and I like it. OA and DA, nice work on this one!
  3. Very cool. This is one of the best pieces on Echoes with its grand orchestral feeling and length (I thought it went perfectly and didn't drag on like some orchestra songs do).
  4. Whoa, this is awesome! Once again that annoying sound of Baby Mario turned out good in this. Thanks for showing me, Chthonic! Oh, and good job, to both of you!
  5. Yeah! Now we're talking! I love the idea of taking such a slow melody and giving it some life in the form of a rave party. It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but at least it's upbeat and enjoyable.
  6. Hyrule castle in the form of DnB? Interesting. I have to say I like it, and I see a bit of a resemblance to a lot of DnB tunes that I love hearing. Not bad, OCR could always use a little more DnB.
  7. The low health sound. The single most annoying sound I can remember besides Baby Mario's crying and you somehow made it awesome. I commend you for this daring feat. On the other hand, I can't believe I didn't comment on this when it came out. Very cool tune right here.
  8. If there was a top ten list for OverClocked ReMix's best ReMixs, this amazing track would be on it. Seriously, this is sooooo evil sounding, and I love it! The last minute with the "marching" bit was the perfect way to send it off in, like the troopas heading for war one more time. So good.
  9. Very cool verison of the Forest Maze theme. I would have loved for the "woody" sounds to go on for the whole song, but this is great. It's got a very natural feeling flow to it.
  10. I'm really surprised at how well the "Flight of the bumblebee" tune and the Bowser theme go together in this way. Very creative and from 2:47 on are well worth the proper build up it got.
  11. Haha! Oh, this is great. I almost lost it when I heard "Oh Mario you're so fine". Man, that brought a smile to my face. 80's is where it was, is and always will be at, and now even Mario can show it.
  12. Happy B-day, Arek! Nice updates and art.
  13. I agree. Heck, I'd love to see the Metal Ice Cap Zone with Male Vocals finished just to see what funny lyrics could be added. If it gets to be too much.....that's what OLR is for. It was a funny joke, but playing along and pretending to be fooled was even better. I wonder how many were playing along like me.
  14. Ooooohhhhh! This is too damn good! Complete ReMixing domination!
  15. Of course not. Seriously, though, is there a way to download some of this stuff? Ice Cap+Metal+Male Vocals is too amazing not to put on my playlist somehow.
  16. Yay, now if only we could get an OCADinator. (PS, this is too easy.)
  17. Probably one of the best tunes on Echos. I love the grand flying feeling the ReMix sends out throughout the song and it's definitely on my playlist. The beginning was great and all the transitions were spot on. Very cool.
  18. I love techno and dark organs. Putting them together just worked perfectly for me. The only thing I can say I don't like is it's not creepy enough for Calcabrina. But well done all the same!
  19. Gray Lightning. I think that says it all on the quality of the ReMix itself, but is not even close. It's better! I like the Oriental feeling of this mix, especially since this combines two of my favorite things: Epic Asian Movie sounding stuff and Fear Factory's theme. Although the source doesn't seem to pop up as much as I'd hoped, I can't gripe at all at after hearing this. Sweet!
  20. I really don't know what to say besides, I love it. I was going to skip this, because I never cared for Candy's song and the lyrics didn't sound good in my head. But I was wrong, and while the "flying poo" deal makes me wince, everything else was spot on. Good stuff.
  21. Awesome video! A little pixelated, but who cares about that when you can make a music video on a ReMix. Cool job.
  22. You're talking about Cascade Capers (Waterfall) and Lakeside Limbo (Stilt Village). Some of the songs on the GBA soundtrack had different names from the SNES. So, with that said, I can assure you that Emunator didn't leave those great themes out. Good catch, though.
  23. Happy B-day, Meteo! And I get to say the same for myself tomorrow! Muhahaha!
  24. Well, yeah, I didn't mean any clueless no-skill fan. I meant people who are good at what you said (like actually making movies, writing, etc.) knowing enough about the series or game to make something decent and maybe having some prior experience with the game. I'm just saying that if they know what it's about, they'll hopefully avoid another SMB and SF2.
  25. I think it takes a fan and creative script writers to make ANY game movie, seeing as how most of them done by people who aren't fans suck. I'd like to see Mega Man X or Zero done with a Movie. Anyone remember that anime thing that came with the remake of MMX? If they did something like that, it might work. In all seriousness, almost anything could work if you know what you are doing.
