  1. I'd like mine changed from dbyoshi to GravitySuitCollector. It's a username I've grown to love from using it elsewhere (Kol, I'm not too heavily into the game, though, because there's too many other things worth playing; the username's too long for PSN and Xbox Live, though). If that's not available, GravSuit would be fine. I don't care for the old name; I was younger when I made it. Thank you ahead of time. The changing font sizes don't make this message cohesive at all...
  2. I went ahead and got the CD pre-order when they made it available (no experience with case stuff, seemed like too much trouble to make; I wanted this one in CD form, because I'm a huge Metroid fan). I'm looking forward to the poster print, too. I'm feeling a bit impatient with the waiting time, though. This album's great, btw.
  3. Awesome. I paid $10 and still got everything (average was $4.63). Downloading everything's going to take forever, though.
  4. Seconding knights in the nightmare. My brother and sister have beat it, and they loved it. I do, too, but I haven't played it through (it's my game...).
  5. Has Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia been Mentioned yet? Super, awesome, awesome, amazing and awesome all describe this. I love the weapon system, there's action galore, and the music is awesome. It's crazy hard, though (Normal is hard initially; Hard mode is insane unless you grind a bit.... I haven't even bothered with max lv. 1 hard mode, sounds impossible...). And yes, I did mean to use three awesome's to describe it. It's the best Castlevania on the system , in my opinion. it did feel a bit short once I beat it, though, even with the extra areas (cavern and training grounds). EDIT: What he said, too. I feel it's definitely a jump up in the action from the X-series. I thought some of the music in the first one was a bit weak, but that's not an issue. I also feel the series really picks up on the second storywise. It's a steal for all four games in the collection on the DS. Also, the two Mega Man ZX's are pretty good, just a bit different.
  6. It's getting better, alright. I'm enjoying it some more now. I'll post what I think after a bit more listening between the older and the newer, edited versions (Soundcloud isn't liking me right now ). Anyways, keep it up! EDIT: Meh, I'm not so sure what else to say (It's beyond my listening abilities ) One thing, maybe, is a bit less panning with the answer/call part in the beginning (Not too much of a decrease, though). It's almost a bit distracting (I guess), but I still like it. Anyways, keep going; you can do it!
  7. "This sounds great. It gets a bit repetitive with the same sounds, though, with it going for 3 min. If you can, try adding in something more in the last half (maybe), and maybe a slight bit less panning with the delayed melody in the beginning; it's a bit too much starting off. See if you can improve it a bit." Straight copy of my comment on Newgrounds. Anyways, I'm listening to it on repeat right now, even though it isn't quite necessary (the second third is almost the same as the first part, try doing something a bit different, maybe?). I love the percussion; the hip hop beat does a good job of keeping it going.
  8. heaven Variant looks like it's going to be great. :) Btw, your remixes are fantastic. :D

  9. Okay, here are some things you might consider, although, I'm most likely under-qualified to make such comments. Anyways: 1. Maybe switch out the voice and piano samples with something better. They sound like they're from the general midi thing, amirite? Find a good VSTi, even (there are quite a few free ones). 2. Volume, change it up a bit. With the piano part, for example, it feels flat. Put more emphasis on the downbeat, for example. Also, you might try bringing its base level up, or something like that, so it stands out a bit more. As it is, too, it feels like the highs are a bit strong, and there's not enough mids in the song (to me, anyway). Just back up your work, try messing with different things for a bit, and see how it sounds. 3. Try changing up the high chiming thing that turns into the sine/analog wave thingy's phrase (around 0:36) a bit as you go along (slightly repetitive). Maybe remove a note at the end of a measure or something? As the song is, every note in the song between voices has almost the same start, too. It makes it feel a bit clustered. Also, some spacing between note start and end would be nice ( this can be changed up, too). It helps break up musical phrases into more definite chunks. Anyways, this mainly is said from a listener perspective. I am not a pro at all, so my descriptions and advice might be a bit shaky; i still feel that some of the things I say, though, might be worth a try. I hope some of this helps.
  10. Man, I wish I had a Saturn now (Ah-emu, later!).... I thoroughly love this remix, and the source of it. (the 1st time I heard Dreams Dreams was on Sonic Adventure, I think...).
  11. ...I see a stupid article, where all the author does is pretty much troll against a videogame company that has been one of the major industry JRPG standard setters for a long time. Sure, some of us may not enjoy their newer games as much (I'm sort of an in-between, haven't played XI and XIII, system on XII was a bit weird), but I still believe them to be good games. I think the whole article is him inflating his personal ego (read the FFXIII sucks paragraph, notice his eloquence). Well, then again, I'm not an expert, so maybe it's just me ranting against an "expert's" article. :/
  12. Great job (and name :. I love the mix, although, the lead synth does feel a bit too tinny at times. Keep it up please; your work is great.
  13. I really enjoyed this, although I have some issues with the last third. The transition around 4:47 felt off, especially with the (I'm guessing the instrument) plucked violin family (the lowers, the wood resonance is too much for it, imho). The felt the melody and the volume were off a bit, too ( the whole melody thing carries on afterward for me; I'm not loving the note/chord choice). Then, after that, I felt the lower brass to be a bit too distorted, and the tempo modulation reminded me of brakes being pushed and released. Not very pleasant. This might just be my opinion, as I myself don't have much training in music, and my tastes are a bit of a grab bag (what's in is in). I still enjoyed most of this, the intro and body of it are fantastic. *download*
  14. $5. It's not much, but it should help keep an excellent community running.
  15. I think your OCRemix on this one is fantastic; I'm definitely downloading this. The only thing that felt off to me were the choir aaahs after 2:40 (listened to youtube preview). I felt that the initial volume just took away from the whole effect somewhat; the attack might have been a bit too heavy for them (imho). The way it is each one feels almost too sudden to me. Anyways, I still love this, and I appreciate the time and effort you put into this. Thank you.
  16. My brother and I have been playing through Wind Waker again, and this song is one we would love to hear remixed. From listening to it, I get a more rock/metal vibe, and since I don't have any guitar skills whatsoever, I figured I would make a request. It's the music that plays when you're fighting something like a giant octorock. Thanks for reading this, even if you don't make a remix for it.
  17. Sparkle is amazing on this. Order of Ecclesia is easily one of my favorite Castlevanias, and it was great to hear it get some love. I feel the quality varies between some songs, but they still all are very good stuff.
  18. I love this remix already. It really does maintain the atmosphere throughout, and you did a great job with everything. The instrumentation choices, I think, were perfect. Probably, the only thing that might have been changed is the panning on some parts (bass synth melody?) and some volume levels, as mentioned before. Thank you.
  19. OGG fies aren't that bad. you just need the right player. I think there's a plug-in for Winamp. If you need to switch the file format, though, BonkEnc Audio Encoder is a okay tool to use. I haven't had too many issues so far using it to switch mp3's to AAC's for my DSi. (http://download.cnet.com/BonkEnc-Audio-Encoder/3000-2140_4-10550755.html)
  20. I can feel where this is going, but it's not getting there for me. Considering its age, I guess it's good, but I felt too much of the original is taken away; the key choice could also be reconsidered, and the sound could've done with some more reinforcement. Maybe I'm just too much of a Metroid freak for this one to connect with me.
