  1. birthdaayyyydayyyy to Level 99 and... Retynuryhoshaoehnashudghamsiuehashiuehm? Heh
  2. Yooooowoohoo, I remember this!! About time, dude, congrats!! It's so candid, reminds me of a lil' dollhouse halloween(?!) party or something. Really cool! You know, I'm really glad you persisted so much on getting posted here, and I wish you the best of success from now on. So, if you get rejected once after this, and then again, and again, quite seriously, don't cha ever give up on whatever goal you'd set up... Believe me, I suppose that comes out as some strange vanilla advice, but just take into account that this frog has some similar story to tell
  3. YAAAY!!! Congrats everyone! Those are some wonderful laid-back tunes, I'm pretty sure this won't disappoint at all!
  4. Let's have some pretzel?! Happy birthday pretzel!!
  5. If commercial music sounds fine on the car, your mix might have some production issues. It happens to me at times, too Sometimes the low/high frequencies are too hot, some instruments sound too loud/too quiet, etc; I just think of the car as a useful bad production detector. Also, some nice headphones n' stuff. If you wanna, you may post your mix so we can have a try helping you figure what the problem is.
  6. Two lil' coins: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?x3qblp9xy6hfvy6 Sounds simple on a first listen, but if you can automate the ups and lows on volume, this simplicity might work greatly. Mainly a matter of humanizing your melodies the best way you can. There's also the one from tgsf21x pack (got it here). I like to use it more on middle eastern influenced tunes, but that's me. Either way, hope they sound decent enough for ya ;P
  7. Wow, this one's quite a bubbly gummy trip. Those notes during the intro have an intriguing dissonance, but that's because to me it all sounds right somehow. Just what bubble did you swallow to make this, uh?! I love this a continent!
  8. HHEEEEYYYYY, since when?! Dem disjointed junky thingy has been accepted! HooraY! \%/ :D

  9. Hey, MokraM!! That's one hell of a debut into OCR, dude! Must confess: I've never really got much into the deep details of world music, and this description of yours just confirms how much I still have to learn. I suppose I'm not dedicating myself as much as I could, but still, I'm eagerly looking forward to develop my skills further, so I can successfully apply my ideas as well as you do here. Killer, crisp, sandy percussion work btw. Choice of instruments n' style reminds me of my own way of mixing things xD
  10. Yeah, I think is more of an example, as far as I'm aware from the times I played Spore; it's the same structure, with same notes. Creature editor may have a consistent drum beat, but its melody sounds randomly generated. Thanks for the idea, djp ;D
  11. Front page! Finally! Fantastic work, dude. Must say, this track in its WiP form was already a hot, indispensable part of my "casual internet activities" playlist. It's springtime in disney gardens!
  12. I have no idea what's with the lack of new mix reviews lately, but as I believe this deserves more than that I'll give my thoughts. This is mostly the type of sound that I like to hear n' make. There's remarkable stuff like tribal and electronic influences, but there's also a few other elements that add to the feeling it gives - not to a specific genre. So what do I feel here? Mystery, suspense, like the beginning of a journey, just as it was intended to be. Me likez!
  13. What I specially like about ReMixes is when they have a story to tell, one that I can follow by listening to it. I do think the idea was captured pretty well here, where I feel both the action from the battle and a built-in melancholy in its meaning. Quite great stuff indeed, and I'm looking forward to more!
  14. About time, uh?! Glad to know you just made it :D

  15. ^YESYESYESYAYAYAYAYA^ I wish I had enough competence to direct collaborative albums, but nah. Or, not yet. That aside, i'm so in as well! Also, listening party day 15th, been awhile since the last time I listened to NGI.
  16. WEEHEEEEEEE DKR REMIXES!!! \%/ 2nd track is my definite favorite. It's sounds so stupid, I totally identify myself with it. Pretty much HQ DKR videogame, I like it!
  17. Wow, dude... Don't move me like that. Thanks! :3 Anyway, thought I'd come in to say something, as there seems to be a somewhat high demand on a DKR album: I agree that it should be done, and I'd LOVE to ReMix those tracks! Howev4r, I'm afraid I won't be able to do everything by myself...
  18. You're gonna fix n' resub that Chemical Plant mix, right? D:

  19. I wonder how the policies would apply to Spore? I mean, even though Spore's soundtrack changes its structure constantly depending on the player's choices of gameplay, I've noticed that , no matter what samples/pitch/tempo/blorgh make it.I'm aware that it sounds like a tricky track to work with btw
  20. Passion for music, improvement, sharing, attention, fame, extra money with my own original stuff.
  21. Your turn, uh? MERRY BIRTHDAY
