  1. There is approximately nothing I don't love about this. I just played through Bloodlines for the first time ever a few weeks ago, and I have to agree - this source stands out as its own entity among an already odd and eerie soundtrack. And you've handled it fantastically, my friend
  2. I thought about posting in the Help/Newbies thread, but this isn't exactly a how-to or anything. It IS made almost entirely with the FL 11 default synth GMS (except for the strings, drums, and choir pad). Seriously, this synth is so versatile and awesome for a default, I've been playing with it ever since I discovered it by poking around the demo project by The Flashbulb. I'd always thought I'd need to buy some high end shit to make something really cool as far as EDM goes, so I thought I'd share this in case anyone else held the same misconception If you have FL 11, it's free! If you're an FL user and don't have 11, the upgrade is free, and then you'll have it! If you're not an FL user, I can't help you </3 GMS!! I hope this is helpful. If you have any questions, let me know!
  3. My place of residence has changed, and I'm living with ecto and Ben in Indianapolis. I just noticed I still had a spot in KS
  4. Are you selling the OST? I'd rather support directly Edit: Yes, you most certainly are
  5. Fuck I keep meaning to listen and critique now that there's a link, posting so maybe I'll remember!
  6. Some of the orchestral stuff is a bit mechanicalhis, but this track OWNS! The stereo synth effect is insanely awesome
  7. Yessssss this OST is SO good. The idea to make arrangements of the themes before and after you get the key to the next level is brilliant!
  8. Go buy it right now you dumb-dumbs it's so good!
  9. Exclusive preview of the original Project M Main Theme music by yours truly teehee Also I'm open to taking a track if you get desperate, but I'm kinda sorta pretty busy/backlogged at the moment
  10. Haha, hopefully that's a compliment, there's a lot of music in GSH I'm not a huge fan of Thanks dude
  11. I've started planning out my work times to be more productive and increase my creative speed. For this track, I set the instrumentation and wrote a little less than the first half in a couple hours one night, and then finished it up in a few hours last night. It started off like a ship select theme for a shoot 'em up game, but now I can't decide if that would be more fitting or if it'd work better as game over/high score input music. Not that it matters, this isn't being used for anything in particular, it was just a scribble that I forced myself to finish to jumpstart my output after a couple nights of being unproductive. All thoughts/criticisms welcomed Go Get 'Em, Ace!
  12. I need to start running Super Metroid again. I got down to a 55 minute run at one point, and at the time I was about 30th on DeerTier (though I didn't have a way to record, so it wasn't ever official - I just had the satisfaction of knowing )
  13. PSO and Shining Force are at the top of my list Edit: Agreed, though it doesn't quite make my list because I couldn't even get past the second level when I played it. That game is INSANELY hard
  14. Very clever interp into 3 (and name ) Around 1:30, some of the articulations struck me as the instruments' default envelopes in the lead lines, since the rise and fall is exactly the same in all the notes 2:08 and on I felt like some slight velocity changes would really bring those staccato lines to life. It's mostly only a problem during the sections that are at the lower dynamics, they sound a bit static. Hopefully you understand what I mean, I'm having a hard time with wording at the moment (the beer probably isn't helping there) The composition is great though, and the execution is SO close. Really great track, I just think some minor tweaks would really seal the deal! I'm jealous of your sample power too, for sure
  15. CONGRATULATIONS, AWESOME SOUNDTRACK NATHAN I REALLY ENJOYED IT and other things related to the music
