    I've tried looking for some info on the FF2 track (that's the source I was talking about), and all I could get was that it was composed by Nobuo Uematsu for the game and was "removed." I have no idea if it's still on the ROM or not, is there a way I can check?

    Also interested in this - I'm planning on submitting a track that uses an unused song (that was still written for the game and included on the OST iirc) as the main source.

    haha this is awesome. there's some pitch/tone things going on with the harmonica sometimes (like when it initially comes in), and its quite hard to pick out where the lead is at times, but this pretty inventive and quirky in the best sense. there's also some volume pumping issues, did you maybe over-compress things with a bad compressor? either way, that's another issue to look at.

    I still miss the pre 4th gen graphic style. Not sure if it's just me, but I've felt that the newer games (aside from HGSS with its efficient menu system) have been somewhat clunkier or slower.
