  1. Holy crap! This is great! I love the Daft Punk influence here, it works in a very good way. My favorite section is 1:40 - 2:13, cuz it's the most badass section. Love the meldoic usage of glitched robotic vox - it's so neat. Great work, man!
  2. While I had problem with recognizing the source too, I still liked (and like now) this track. I wonder how this would sound if it was entirely made with that style of intro, becuase I love how the intro sounds. But at around 1 minute mark it turns into something funky and hip-hoppish. The beat is a bit loud, yeah, but it's cool. And the usage of SFX is cool as well. Nice!
  3. This tune is quite old, but it's actaully a classic one, so it will always sound fine. So smooth. Love every little detail here - vibes, percussion, synths and of course, the violin! I would like to hear more violin here, though. Sweet.
  4. There are a lot of Aquatic Ambience mixes, sure, but this one stands out for me, because it manages to keep the feeling of ambience from the original. The intro is very long, almost quarter of the whole thing, but it's perfect for the mellow, relaxing mood of this mix. And once this track picks up, it becomes even better. Even the guitar doesn't spoil the idle atmosphere here. Also, gotta love that tides + ivories break ot 5:08. This work is sooo sweeeet ans sooo dreamy. Love it.
  5. Redg's stuff is always creative and tasty, so this mix is no exception. I love how this mix evolves - it starts with nice ambient sounds, then the distored thing (probably mallets/vibes) comes in and then mix takes yet another turn, this time being led with acoustic drums, which stay to the end of this tune, and creepy synths. I love how it then drops at 2:34 and I love the following section as well, which is almost playful and bouncy, while it keeps that sci-fi atmosphere. Awesome!
  6. Since I heard first Pete's work (for me it was Groovin' on the Hilltop) and his other entries from SZRC'12, I had known that this guys is percussion master. And this track, an amazing blend of glitched percussion, piano and other orchestral elements as well as with some gritty bass and synths, proves this oce again. Sweet job, dude!
  7. This is another favorite from Jordan. He took a simple source and turned it into gritty, hard-hitting house mix, reminscent of his another masterpiece - "Vile Needs to Galvanize" - same dirty bass, which mostly shines at moments like at 1:06, but actually has some serious role throughout the whole track, heavy beat, tasty synths and etc. The usage of vocals is cool as well. This is one of those mixes that at first may seem to be repetitive, but then they literally absorb you and leave you wanting more. Awesome work!
  8. The source tune is very ugly and repetitive, and BGC and Flik did great job, arranging it. While the orginal here is surely recognizable, they added a lot of other elements like breakbit-ish percussion, orchestral bits, a bit of guitars and some hospital FX, making this a crazy, yet enjoyable track.
  9. Nice take on the original. A classy trance tune - solid, powerful, greatly-executed. Love the female vocals here, they definitely add some charm to this track. Cool tune.
  10. So... You see the title and think "Hmm, this is probably a relaxing winter tune". But when you start litening to this, it turns out this doesn't have that atmposphere, because it starts off with some kickin' drums. You think "Ok... It's quite hot and groovy, let's give this a listen". But then you hear that Spanish/Gypsy acoustic guitar at 0:44. "Holy crap! What a change-up!". Ok, at least I had these thoughs when I was listening to this tune at first. If you still don't understand, it's a rock/techno mix with Spainsih/Gypsy guitars that has nothing about snow, instead being freakin' hot. Awesome!
  11. While Chris' tracks aren't everyone's cup of tea, this is one of those tracks you shouldn't miss, or you'll regret! Here we have groovy funky goodness with some intustrial percussion, surely influenced by Alexander Brandon, so it should obviously be one of those tracks that captures your attention immidiately and never let it go. Great work, Labyrinthguy!
  12. One of ilp0's best works and of the best tracks from UH. This track has so many change-ups and I like it. The intro, for example, sounds like an overture/prologue for some performance. But then the piece becomes more playful, definitely sounding like a dialog theme. Then it becomes a bit sad, then serious, then almost crazy, then back again sad/serious! What a wild and enjoyable ride.
  13. So much awesomeness and hotness right here! Sixto created a wonderful jam, definitely fitting for hot and sunny April (2 in 1!!). This tune reminds me his "Pickin' Out the Fleas" from DKC2:SMB. Rock on \m/
  14. Also, since Charles Ritz' SLW track includes several tracks from the OST and the structure of his work will change with every new WiP, try to abstain from claiming something from this game. I won't remove Marvin Valentin's claim, though.
  15. 1. Ghetto Lee Lewis 2. Jonathan! 3. MushroomSword
  16. Newbie Charles Ritz joined our album, claiming some beautiful tracks: Live Life from SatBK (very cool song) and as well as some scores from from SLW. Good luck!
  17. But both tracks include piano, don't they?
  18. This is great! I love the sort of flamenco + spaghetti western atmosphere it has. There're a lot of things mixed together: hand claps, guitars, brass, vocals, whistling, bells, violin and vaious percussion and so this mix has no reasons to be bad. Super creative and mega delicious!
  19. Ha, the intro fooled me a bit I like how this song changes when it picks up. The blend of guitars and violin is just excellent! It sounds totlally like a badass western-styled track. Love the mandolin section as well. Very cool thing
  20. Do you have a track thar you want to claim? Or you even have no idea what to claim?
  21. While TMNT:SS is full of metal, heavy, face-melting tracks, this one is something else. The electronic intro, which leads to the main journey, is short, but works nice. The body of this track is also very cool. The rocking parts has a feeling of riding a bike in the night. But the lounge parts, which are perfect for casino, sound different, yet very good. And the mixture of this parts is my favorite track from this album. Sweet.
  22. I definitely imagine this being performed on a seashore, probably in the early morning or during the sunrise. I like how it picks up at 0:38. I think, the intro is barely connected with the body of track, but I don't mind it. Love that thing (vox?) at 0:42. And yes, as everyone noticed, David's sax solo is killer. Awesome.
  23. What. Is. This? It sounds so werid, soooo weird... But I like this quite a lot. Especially I like the small section at 1:45, it sounds quite trippy. Overall, I love the surreal atmosphere of this mix - those cheerful piano licks, combined with somewhat funky/chippy synth and bass and the beat work perfect in this way. Nice
  24. Kickass arrangement. I love the heavy, industrial feeling of it. The drums probably sound a bit lounder then they should, but anyway, it's a very cool mix. The slightly distorted guitars (not the hart-hitting ones) work awesome, creating that very feeling of hypnosis. Sort of it, y'know.
