Well, it's a timaeus' remix, so nothing can go wrong here  This song gives me chills every time I listen to it, definitely one of his coolest works to date. Really love the top-notch agressive/bouncy winter wonderland vibe of this track. Very enjoyable stuff!

Hey guys, I'm working on an EP to be released by May 5 this year. I posted on the facebook group for some online vocal lessons, but I'm probably gonna have to get my hands dirty and just go do some more at a nearby school (expensive! lol). But I figured while I wait for that, maybe people here wouldn't mind giving a review in the meantime. Tell me things you like, hate, etc. I realize the last line I sing is a little off, it was kind of rushed, sorry about that!
If you are a seasoned singer I'd love to hear some comments thank you.

I've just created an account for this one! I'm from Turkey and we were checking out some awesome stuff here with my brother then we came across this one. That Turkish disco, man, THAT'S PRETTY WELL MADE! We heard the darbuka, and said "yeah that's possible" but then the strings came in and we are like "WHUT?! That's sounds like Tarkan and like other pop songs around here! Wow!". Really, REALLY enjoyed this one, awesome work Dj Mystix!

Edit: Finally submitted, as "Seagull Sonata"

It's been quite a long time, eh? Anyway, while the album is still being evaluated, I'm gonna make a couple of sweet updates here: first of all, I've finally decided to add the tracklist with all the tracks divided into 3 discs (including a bonus one), and I think that's a nice thing to look at  But most importantly, I'm proud to present a preview track from our album: "Never Fear the Fall" by Pl511! It was released over a year ago, and I wasn't even aware about it, lol. I didn't want anything to be released without my permission, but it's not such a huge problem, after all  So anyway, enjoy the track (if you haven't done it yet, haha) and stay tuned for more updates!

Hey guys, it's been a while, but I've been busy. I've put together a 35 minute EP of Sonic The Hedgehog remixes from the 8 and 16 bit eras of Sonic called Zoned.

The musical style is a blend of Electro-Funk and Retrowave with sprinklings of Chiptune. Included tracks from both 8 and 16 bit versions of Sonic The Hedgehog 1 and 2, Sonic The Hedgehog 3 and Sonic Chaos. Also interweaved into this album are soundbites from the games themselves, excerpts from 90s SEGA TV commercials, and dialogue from various video game documentaries that discuss both the significance of SEGA and Sonic The Hedgehog in the history and develop of video games and video game music.
    Tracks remixed are:
Turquoise Hill Zone (Sonic 2 - 8 bit)
    Sky High Zone (Sonic Chaos)
    Star Light Zone (Sonic 1)
    Hydrocity Zone (Sonic 3)
    Bridge Zone (Sonic 1 - 8 Bit)
    Spring Yard Zone (Sonic 1)
    Underground Zone (Sonic 2 - 8 bit)
Casino Night Zone - 2 Player (Sonic 2)
    Chemical Plant Zone (Sonic 2)
It was released in conjunction with RadioSEGA and premiered on Sunday night as part of their Winterfest. If you didn't listen to the show and/or haven't yet grabbed a download, please help yourself.

    This is wonderful.
What's interesting is that the only other PM:TTYD mix on the site also incorporates material from other sources. This is not a bad thing - I just find that to be an interesting tidbit.
Also, we need more Paper Mario mixes.
    That is all.

The VGM community fragmentation is but a relic of the past that needs to go. Participating to TS compos is a process far too convoluted for its own good, especially in this day and age. Too many signing-up / signing-in and out of different sites to join/upload/vote, too much back and forth, which isn't user friendly. Add to that the fact PRC is a relatively small event with modest following, focused on obscure games and taking place on 2 different websites dedicated to a relatively niche and often misunderstood hobby. Think about how these barriers of entry potentially restrict the compo and might discourage aspiring participants.
OCR compos are successful in no small part due to covering popular games, which help attract a bigger crowd including well-known remixers, which in turn create anticipation and emulation. Addtionally, compos are being run entirely on site, including discussions, submissions and voting. Last but not least, their existence is being relayed via social medias, which helps spread the word about them. On the other hand, TS main site has been in limbo for a while, with no new mixes posted on RTS, next to no news posted on TS and no community interaction within the website proper. The life of the party comes from Compos, which are sadly being run in the back room in relative obscurity. It's nobdy's fault of course, but without some kind of promotion, participation remains limited to whoever already knows about PRC, is familiar with the current round's game, or is ok with the convoluted submission/voting process.
Kevin, man: the sheer dedication/hardwork you've put into running this compo for so many years is awe-inspiring. But these events need to be consolidated/integrated into a common hub where people interact regularly, not relegated to a dark corner of the web alongside those who make TS compos a reality. A bit of social media advertising might also do some good, cause unless you spread the word or go actively fishing for new blood, people aren't gonna magically show up in droves on your doorstep. Another idea could be to release yearly abums with the winning remixes or themed compilations of PRC songs, to promote the event. Lastly, getting in touch with VGM radios/hosts could help raise awareness for the compo and in turn improve participation.
Been slowly getting back into remixing, so I will do my best to join the compo again in the near future, whenever life permits.

Damn, is it one of my favorite VG arrangers comin' back on the WIP boards, and I missed him? Ack!
As usual, your style just oozing throughout this track. The performances are stylisticly slick, and the overall production evokes that 70's sound in that way you know how. The arrangement is a little bit hectic, losing me a little at the end of the middle section, but it's still easy enough to follow.
As for the video, gotta love the American flag wearin' Swede dancin' with the guitar. Just can't beat it, really.
Interestingly enough, after all the years of making amazing music, I know that you submit "Sky Diver Inside Her" some time back, and Larry rejected it due to "sampled drums". Visually seeing you perform the drums makes me think you should DEFINITELY submit something again, since you do make great stuff.
Regardless, great stuff, and I hope more people check out some more Muthapluckin' B music because of this.

Hi, everyone. I finished my second semester film last year. It was screened on Anima Mundi. And now I am finally sharing it around.

Although this is a cartoon, I feel my time on OCR still influenced it musically. So it's no wonder people tell me the score sounds like game music.
By the way, I have a ReMix in the To Be Posted queue and a more game-oriented film in the works. So you'll hear more from me soon, hopefully

Emphasis on artist links is front and center, including support links for patreon, oc records, etc. Definitely a work-in-progress, but since it was better than what we HAD, we're going live now and will iterate Other pages will be updated to kinda-sorta match, as time allows This pushes us further towards an overall site redesign by getting pages laid out in Bootstrap, semi-responsive, etc. in a piecemeal fashion Feedback welcome
