As for the deadline... great push towards the deadline, guys! Thanks a lot for all the excellent tracks you've been working on, I think the album is great  The next few days we'll finish off the package (doing stuff like tagging, converting to mp3, finalizing the back covers and writing the final album comments) and send it to OCR for approval and release.

While OCR's Content Policy is quite permissive with regards to ReMix usage in streams and videos, we've seen reports of videos getting hit with Content ID matches on YouTube against tracks from our catalog. Some matches are bogus (stolen tracks, false positives, etc.), some are legitimate (tracks that are a part of a commercial release, audio matched to a source tune, or legitimately claimed by the ReMixer). Here's a list of ReMixes we know have had issues in the past. If you're a streamer or video creator, avoid these tracks.
It should be noted that this list is not comprehensive, only because -- as we post new ReMixes -- other tracks may get added. We also don't have any list available for Twitch, though we haven't heard of issues there. It's possible that there are other tracks that will get your video flagged, and we periodically update this list. Unfortunately there's not a lot we can do about it, except recommend that when you contest your ContentID match with YouTube, link OCR's Content Policy. We've heard reports of people using that to get the hit removed.
We also recommend using Rainwave's song widget for Twitch for their OCR radio station. When new songs trigger YouTube's ContentID, Rainwave staff will get in touch with us and vice-versa in order to keep this list updated.

Quite a bit of activity the past few days, so I thought it'd be good to share some updates.
The tracks by DusK, Tuberz McGee and Jorito (yep, me) are basically fully done (if we all can get over the never ending last nitpicks we obsess over ) So that's 3 tracks that I would consider finished.
Furthermore, Audiocolor updated his track and it's also very near final. Same goes for WillRock. Chernabogue is waiting for recordings of his army of guitarists, bassists and sax players and by the looks of it he'll be in time for the deadline. KingTiger received his guitar recordings too, and also things have settled down for him somewhat so that he can get his track in better shape.
We're still waiting to hear back from @zykO, @Lucasonic and @Bowlerhat, hope their tracks are still on schedule and going well 

My track is still not recorded – it's being recorded as we speak – so you won't get it today. I don't think I'll have it by next week either, but don't you dare cut me, it's coming.

I won't accept it even if you're just a bit late or your track is 99,99% ready, but you need to make a couple of last touches or something like that, you get it. Yes, I decided to be strict about it this time, because I'm tired of endless waiting and just not realising the album. Also, if you want a bit of hype, be sure to check out the very first post of this thead  You may find something very interesting, I promise!

In other news, as a co-director I have had the privilege to listen to a lot of the tracks already (I was actually adding director comments today), and I must say it's gonna be a pretty darn cool album! So don't disappoint Black_Doom and me and all the Sonic lovers out there and make sure you finish in time because it'd be a shame to miss out!

Ah, some proper glitchy metal stuff  So delicious! The reinterpritation is pretty straightforward, but it works pretty well. Love this jam, dude, looking forward to more jamz of yours! The game is sick, btw, be sure to play it, haha.

I just gave Jorito my final horn tracks - please blame any and all lag on me.  This month has been nuts.

My track is done, but I'm spending a day or two to take a look at mixing and possibly considering rewriting a short section. Just another day or two!

@Lucasonic We will extend the dealine again, FYI, but yeah, you better focus on only one of your tracks (SA2 is a bit more preferable, IMO).

Also good to know that this deadline extension will be minimal (more like days rather than weeks). We really want to get this album out of the door
 

Sorry for getting back to this so late; unfortunately work and class has really been kicking my ass lately. Obviously there's only a little less than a week left here, and if I can make time to at least finish up one of my two tracks, I'll do my best to make that happen.

Also, we will probably extend the deadline slightly, but this doesn't mean you can postpone sending us your track without any reasons.

There's 1 week to go for the final deadline, and we've seen quite a bit of progress towards finishing the album. We've received a cool new WIP from WillRock, near finished versions of the tracks from Eino Keskitalo, Tuberz McGee and Sterlyng Powell and some good progress on my own title theme remix. We expect to see plenty of updates in the coming few days, so keep 'em coming!
Also a friendly reminder to send in some track notes and sign the consent form when you submit your final mix. Looking forward to your final submissions and (hopefully soon) a release of a great new album!

So I'm trying to finish the Sonic 1 title/invincibility remix I'm making for the album. Because the 'Sega' voice intro is so prominent, I decided to add it, but give it my own spin. I thought it'd be cool to have multiple voices 'sing' this part to achieve a kind of choir effect in stead of just me and my bad singing voice. Oh, c'mon, this remix deseves much more attention! Orchestra is not my favourite stuff, tbh, but when it's made right, it clicks SO HARD. This track is just awesome, seriously. I love how from cartoon-ish, carefree intro it evolves into something majestic, something solemn, simply epic, which makes me think about Venice for some reason (maybe because the arranged theme here is mostly "Swimming BGM"? ) and then it returns back to its playful beginning  Sweet thing for sure!
