I'm really happy for (and am going to let finish) everyone who worked together to create this album, and the site who is undoubtedly working their butts off to get it out on time.. great work and I'm looking forward to hearing it.

She's just been dickbutting at me for the last couple hours while I've been trying to work on the song. I'll turn it in to the Darke when it's done and if she quits then that's fine ok with me, I'm in this to have fun and enjoy the music and she is taking it way too seriously and hounding me constantly about it while I'm working on it

I saw this comment on the kotaku article about BadAss and thought it seemed relevant to the discussion of how OCR could possibly be flagged on Youtube for "spam, scams, or deceptive content" I'm just posting this to get your opinion on it, I'm not saying it's true or false or forming any kind of personal opinion on it in any way. Here are some other comments:

Dante's Inferno is a badass motherflippin' game. If I were to do a fourth claim, it would be Dante's Inferno. And it would probably take me 2 months to arrange. Also I consider 99% of the Dante's Inferno soundtrack to be "boss themes"... haha.

I just gotta say I am so excited for this.. Next year... I hope I get Cubase 6 for christmas, or else I bet I'll be bouncing a lot of tracks down to WAV due to all the layers :( EDIT: And just to be a Bish, Blue Dragon boss is called Eternity. And I'm reconsidering not making it polka.

I'm going to be ultra-honest with you because I love the Zero Wing music. This is poop. Workshop is definitely the place to hang around if you want to eventually be an OC Remixer. To be brief, your sounds are very basic and sound retro as a result. It's not necessarily a bad thing, but it can be for OCR. The drums are very underwhelming and are not varied much at all. I can't hear too much to them other than the kick and snare, the hats are ridiculously quiet. And to top it all off, this is pretty much a straight cover. You need to personalize the song a bit more for OCR. You do this by writing some original parts, maybe a solo here and there, and mingle original bits with bits from the source. The guitar rhythm is pretty cool, but it should be doubled and hardpanned to each side. I think a lot of work needs done with this before you could consider subbing it to OCR, but keep at it!

BadAss 2: The Assening I think there should be no electronica and no orchestral, and just focus fully on death metal edit: ninja'd by halc and i make an exception for halc

I've given Emunator a LOT of abuse with jokes about how "the dkc3 soundtrack sucks!" and things of that nature. But I was just trollnig him, and I wouldn't have done 2 songs for this album if I thought the music was lame. And I am REALLY looking forward to the release of this album, not just to hear everyone's amazing songs, but for people to hear my songs (I think Let it Beat is my most polished remix ever).
