FF8 is my favorite because the story and the characters are the most realistic out of any FF. Call it stoopit but you know it to be twue.

CMC - Conceptual Music Competition 33: Under the Rug
Brandon Strader replied to Abadoss's topic in Competitions
People have time, they just don't do it. I didn't have time to make a song but I did it. -
Thanks mang, I hope everyone likes it, had a blast making it, one of the best-sounding def metal songs I ever made, really proud of it. Have no idea what I'd be able to make for the FFX album project now but hahah... we'll jump that hurdle when we come to it
-
Not to jump the gun, or whatever that means, but here's a dream line-up I would have made: Larry Koopa - halc (or suzume *hides*) Morton Koopa Jr - Meee Wendy O. Koopa - diotrans / Flickerfall Iggy Koopa - Joshua Morse Roy Koopa - Liontamer, The Scuba Divers Lemmy Koopa - Vampire Hunter Dan Ludwig Von Koopa - Shnabubula
-
Squeenix... cheaper, but rarely more profitable. What are you saiyan.

I CRIED WHEN AERIS DIED! They did look fairly diarrhea-ish. But we didn't notice back then. Or we did and didn't realize it because it was awesome. Amateur people on youtube can make new models, why can't a huge billion dollar company do the same? I don't understand what you're getting at. Squeenix doesn't work as slow as remixers! *jab* hahah... That was in poor taste. I'm sorry, lazy remixers.

Donkey Kong Country 3: Double the Trouble! - History
Brandon Strader replied to Emunator's topic in Projects
Man I come here to find the Youtube links so I can listen to them. Study them. Learn them. and they're always gone ;'( -
Dude, people don't want the rape of the game. It's the battle system and the overworld and airship from FF7 that they love. The battles wouldn't be nearly as difficult or involve any strategy if they were changed to FF13 style, at least for big battles like Ruby Weapon etc. Heck dude, LucasArts could do a FF7 remake in a fraction of the time it will take Square, and Cloud would sound like Guybrush Threepwood. Updated 3D graphics with voice acting and better cinematics, details, etc.. Honestly it should take a year, probably less, all they've got to do is open what they've already got as far as their primitive 3D models go, and upgrade them to today's standards. Pop in a 60fps framerate at 1080p and boom. Heck, they could re-paint the backgrounds instead of rendering them in 3D and i'd still be happy. edit: Or they could render new background paintings in 3D.. haha... 3D PAINT!

I would definitely do this song. Man, so many songs on FF13 have vocals

Kingdom Hearts 2 - Savannah Pride
Brandon Strader replied to Dark_T_Zeratul's topic in ReMix Requests
Kingdom Hearts had some really great songs. It also had a lot of Disney songs. And this song you posted, I don't even remember where it is from in the game. It has electronica potential I think. Electronica's not really my thing but I calls it like I sees it. -
Didn't I link you guys to the final WAV? I could have sworn I did.. I don't usually let wavs that big just sit on my web server. Please let me know if I forgot I will link you to it.

The only way they could really pull this off is if they bring the Mistwalker guys into it. I also agree with what Monobrow said.

Seiken Densetsu 3: Songs of Light and Darkness - History
Brandon Strader replied to Usa's topic in Projects
Needless to say, Usa has probably run into more problems. Previously on--err, I mean last we heard from him, he was getting a new fan or something for his computer. That was probably what, a month ago? And he was also sick. I trust him to deliver with what he's promised and I wouldn't recommend you cut him out, but there's also something going on -- something bad. Anyway, I'll check and see what songs still need done since mine is held up. edit-- What? When I joined before there were 5 or less songs... now there's like 10. Quit adding songs. -
Secret Bonus Point ~ a Dynamite Headdy tribute

Never heard of the game but I wish you guys the best of luck. If you don't find someone for Dark Demon's song in the long run, let me know. -
neatgood work nab

Well Square talks about the possibility of a remake, A LOT. They either like to tease people, it raises hype and possibly sales, or they actually do have intentions to remake it. o.O Hahah.... I hope it's M-rated. Awww... thread died.

OverClocked After Dark - The Former Thread of Days of Yore
Brandon Strader replied to Brushfire's topic in General Discussion
Is it the episode with 2 girls on it? Cause yeah, that'd probably be the second-sexiest episode so far. You know, after Larry Oji.. you'll never top that in sheer sexiness. -
I'd buy the remake for the 360 or the PS3 but I wouldn't get a lower-end system like a PSP or DS for it. That wouldn't even be a proper remake. That'd be more like a port. Which they've already done with emulated FF7 and 8 on the PSN. They could use the FF13 engine, heck, they could even use a variation on its battle system. The hardest thing for them would be learning how to make towns again, and an overworld. Luckily, most towns in FF7 were a single-screen. It wouldn't be that tough really, for a company their size. But now that you mention it, I would LOVE to see a remake of FF8 too.

Donkey Kong Country 3: Double the Trouble! - History
Brandon Strader replied to Emunator's topic in Projects
I think the fact that they 'were going to be' one game is irrelevant, because they aren't. They are 'they'. I find it hard to believe they could have made 1 game out of those 2 though. They're both very heavily pumped with content, I mean, for that time period anyway. -
Donkey Kong Country 3: Double the Trouble! - History
Brandon Strader replied to Emunator's topic in Projects
Then why'd I have to buy them separately? -
I searched the internet hard last night. HARD. And I could not even find a single reference to 'Where the Wild Things are' video game soundtrack or its composer or anything. It's like the soundtrack doesn't even exist, but it is sofa king obvious that the songs used in the game were not in the film. And they were good.

http://kotaku.com/5499449/ceo-well-explore-the-possibility-of-final-fantasy-vii-remake FF7 Remake. Blank stare. (i want it for console) DarkeSword EDIT: I'm making this the Final Fantasy series thread. If you want to make a new thread for a specific Final Fantasy game, feel free to do so. Just be aware that if that thread turns into a series discussion, it'll be rolled into this one.

I really like the music from the game "Where The Wild Things Are" and I was thinking, this music is waaay too good for this game. Then I saw the movie and the music in question wasn't in the movie. That leads me to believe that the music "was" made for the game. Not sure how I can find out for sure but I'm totally interested in WtWtA remix.
