  1. My friends just call me "The" I'll see if I can whip (hah!) up a WIP by the 20th. If I get in da zone, I'll have one earlier than that.
  2. I emailed a track to Dyne, if I have time between now and then, I may think of making another.
  3. So that's where you been. *slaps* I won't be able to turn in a WIP without having the song mostly done, since its going to have so many recorded elements. >_> I need to finish my acoustic solo album before Christmas so I can give it to family. I'm hoping all this stuff I have to do is going to "slide together" somehow so I can accomplish everything.
  4. Yes, I had fun... though I'm starting to feel like I would prefer to not make vocal compos as often anymore. I feel like I am just the butt of jokes when I sing. And it probably doesn't help my scores at all.
  5. Hi there. I didn't forget about the October 31st deadline for first WIPs, and the tracklist has been updated. There are extenuating circumstances, however. I have been waiting to hear back from a few interested parties concerning the creation of remixes. For that reason, some songs have been left free and a WIP hasn't been produced. However, as the timeline for this project isn't expected to stretch on forever, they have roughly a week or so to decide on a track before it's too late. I'd like to thank superjoe for coming on and making a great WIP for March within just a couple days, and also claiming Multifruit Juice. This leaves Army Blues, Island Reggae, and Village3 up for grabs. I am trusting bjkmenu, and BardicKnowledge to turn in new WIPs as soon as possible, and Flik has assured me that he is "not the weakest link". I don't want to find out who is! So I'm giving a little bit of wiggle room with this stuff. Just a little. At the moment, all songs are heading towards REFINED WIP date -- November 20th, which is now just 19 DAYS away. Refined WIPs will be colored pink. Thanks! edit: One track left unclaimed!
  6. I thought the donkey bongos were pretty successful. Maybe I'm wrong. But they won't make another DKC game just because the bongos are too established or what? I don't get it. You'd think Nintendo would see the games they've had that people loved and make new ones. I mean they did the new side-scrolling multiplayer Mario thing. Why not DKC?
  7. Let me guess, the remix album is going to be used for the new DKC sequel for the Wii? You and your secrets.
  8. Ohhh... you guys were talking like it was done and online already. I'll listen to it. I can't stay mad at you forever, Hubbard. Though I would totally love it if I could be on the show in some way.
  9. So that's why you were never able to record my podcast. Can't say I'm surprised about the deception though.
  10. That may possibly be the best WIP I have ever heard in my life, and is definitely going to be one of the highlights of this album. Just a quick note to all project members... try to keep WIPs just between the project members, and if you do share them with others, try to do it through PM and not publicly. Thanks!
  11. Well it's freeware, I don't think its bigger than 3mb, can be emulated with DOSBox.. fairly short... graphical adventure game. If you like monkey island, you'll love teen agent, no kidding at all. You could finish the game (with a guide) in a few hours and then you'd know what the hubbub is.

  12. Hey hey, it's been a while... have you chiseled away any of your backlog?

  13. Hey overcoat, you give any thought to doing a Teen Agent remix?

  14. Hey, you probably knew after that post that I'd be after you -- so might you be interested in helping out the Teen Agent album project with a remix? :-)

  15. Well you can hear the songs when the album is released just like everyone else, and then make up your mind about the quality. I don't see where I'm running my project any differently than any of the other new projects. I have deadlines and people are working hard to respect them. Artwork and the website is already planned and won't be an issue. I don't know what else you, and your cloaked gathering of leaders, is expecting, but we're not cutting any corners over here.
  16. Your advice was to not start the project and you've been upset about it ever since. Why does it bother you so much?
  17. I don't think it is your place to make assumptions. I think your list should be unbiased.
  18. How does "secret project" count as an OCR project and mine doesn't? I did read the guidelines and confirm the project's creation with zircon beforehand, and had recruited a couple people before I even made the thread.
  19. Hey. I forgot! I've been up until almost 6am every night so my brain isn't always in the right place. But still, I think 320kbps MP3s are just as good for listening purposes as huge, almost wav-quality flacs. You can't even put flacs on an mp3 player. I guess I just really don't like flac or see the point in it too much. They could have just put the WAV files in the torrent instead so people could burn CDs with the source files. Well... Anyway, thanks to the people who liked my song! And I really think the whole thing turned out great. I was really impressed by everyone's work. It seems like there's so much more to grasp onto with this album than some of the previous albums... more active material, less passive. It's good.
  20. I'd love to come to your house but I've been feeling a little bloated. I think I'll stick to the IRC for now.
  21. Thank you so much, I've been depressed about it because all of the other songs are so great and mine sounds out of place. It's always good to hear that someone liked it ;)

  22. Well if you want to get technical, a compact disc can't hold 1gig worth of information, so FLAC is much more than lossless -- they actually hold a butt-ton of useless file size. Even the 16bit wav files for a CD usually don't go over 600mb with all tracks included... Way to single me out.
