  1. Probably because there's like 25 of them running at the same time these days.
  2. Really? I didn't know. Thanks for the head-up...
  3. Thanks, dewd! This is incredible!

  4. Jousting on an ostrich? Lol NES?
  5. No worries. When you're done you have the OCR mascot bio project to implement as well Anyway, I agree it would be cool to let album mixers get credit too. That's probably all I'll ever amount to (and I'm not even there yet).
  6. I like. But what about people who have been in official albums but don't have a song on the site? Do they get a page too?
  7. For 36Mbps wireless that's still a pretty awful download speed. I'm guessing whatever the other end of the wireless connection is is to blame for that though. At least you're getting better speed from mine.
  8. I'm on 10Mbps so I won't get any better than that, but I'd be nice to know what someone with 50 or 100Mbps would get...
  9. Could you elaborate on this high-end "air" of yours? I don't understand how it's done.
  10. Stupid internetz. Is there anyone outside of Sweden getting climbing speeds, or it just we?
  11. I always mix using headphones only because that's the only thing I use when listening to music anyway. I'm not good enough at this to make something that sounds good in both anyway, and I'm struggling to make something that doesn't make headphones people cringe. So I guess whatever I do can be taken as advice for what you shouldn't do. EDIT: Haha, there is no highpass filter in Reason! Most the individual synths have them, but to filter the whole song you need to use EQ, which is also a real pain in Reason. Unless you're routing everything through the BV512, in which case you'll have no idea which frequencies you're adjusting the level of. What were they thinking?
  12. Interesting. First off, this sounds like an spc in itself. The lead instrument plays some notes wrong (most people won't care) but it's also a little out of tune (or maybe it's one of the other instruments, not sure). There's a few odd notes from other instruments too. The bassline is pretty boring and the instrument sample isn't wonderful for this "genre" either. Interesting ideas though. I'd advise you to beef the bass a little. It's feeling a little too lightweight.
  13. Uh... if A is in the center of B which is in the center of C, then A should still be in the center of C. Right? Because right now it sounds like you're telling me that if A is in the center of B which is in the center of C, then A will be to the right of the center of C. HTML makes no sense sometimes. EDIT: I tried both, and as it turns out, if both are center, "SUP BRO" ends up in the center, but if body { text-align: center; } and DIV.main-content { text-align: left; } it ends up on the left side. Which makes sense, I guess. What I really wanted was to put "buffering" at the very middle of the screen and the image in the bottom center. The page would "fill" the whole screen but with no scrolling needed to see the image. Like this:
  14. CN, I have a wip you could listen to, I can also give you an accurate midi rip of it (that I made myself).
  15. Thanks for helping me out. I've uploaded a bigger file for those of you who get accelerating speeds, so you can get a more accurate value.
  16. Seconded. Web programming is really unpredictable compared to other programming, everything will "work" and without error messages but you never know if the result is going to be what you wanted. And since there are no error messages it's really hard to track down your mistakes.
  17. I should probably read up on divs, because I asked this quesiton at another forums hoping for a faster response, and he said the same thing. Thanks.
  18. I had massive trouble downloading this, since filefront would disconnect me all the time and forced me to start over downloading the huge 500MB chunk. Once I got it all installed and working though: Wow, nice job with the level design and everything. I think the weapons are too different from the ones in the original though, especially the sounds. I didn't enjoy multiplayer much, and really hope to see some single player action in future releases.
  19. So I managed to get my uber-simple html file to pass W3Schools' markup validation service. However, in the process, I changed the way it looked. The word "buffering" is supposed to be in the center of the screen but now it's in the top right corner. In other words, the alignment has no effect. The table width works, but the table height is still just one row. <table style="width:100%; height:100%"> <tr> <td style="align:center; valign:middle">buffering...</td> </tr> </table> What do I need to do to get this aligned to the center of the screen? www.dafydd.se I also tried changing for this, but to no effect (vertically): <head> <title>Dafydd's home</title> <style type="text/css"> body {background-color:#246092} table {table-layout:automatic; height:100%; width:100%} tr {color:#FFCC00} </style> </head> <body> <table> <tr> <td>buffering...</td> </tr> <tr> <td> <a href="http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=referer"> <img src="http://www.w3.org/Icons/valid-xhtml10" alt="Valid XHTML 1.0 Strict" height="31" width="88"/></a> </td> </tr> </table> </body> The whole thing displays correctly (vertically) using W3Schools' own "try it yourself editor", but not as a real page.
  20. I have huge trouble finishing my songs too. Usually the inspiration is only enough for a few measures, then I get tired of it and want work on some other song or something else entirely. The worst part is that even when I try to pick up something I left unfinished I never seem to be able to get back into it, and every change I make is for the worse. I wish I could help you. I'll check this thread later to see if anyone else has some solution.
  21. If the tags change, won't the torrents have to be updated and downloaded again? Anyway, all I'm missing is track numbers and lyrics, but these things have already been mentioned.
