Do you understand that by simply talking about April Fool's Day you're alerting people to the fact that anything that seems remotely suspicious could potentially be a joke? It doesn't matter whether you are actively trying to ruin a joke or you are genuinely interested in what people are doing for the day. The fact of the matter is that you reminded people that it was April Fool's Day. At 1:30 in the morning. On April Fool's Day. Innocent intentions or not, you spoiled the day for jokesters. You were banned so that you wouldn't be able to post, so that you wouldn't inadvertently do it again. You weren't banned because you committed any kind of serious offense, and you certainly weren't the first, last, or only one who got banned for the day. Get over it.
As for this?
Advanced knowledge of this would help considerably.
Yeah, that's a great idea. We're gonna tell everyone right before April Fool's Day that if they talk about April Fool's Day on April Fool's Day we're gonna ban them for all of April Fool's Day. Brilliant. That'll make sure nobody remembers that it's April Fool's Day.
