  1. Hey man. Your "real name" field is for your real name, not for anything you want to put in there. If you're not going to put your real name there, please leave it blank.

  2. Start organizing it now. Go to the R&C forum and get it going. If you start now, you might be able to have it ready by All Hallow's Eve.
  3. Close! B major or G# minor. Ab minor is the relative minor of Cb major. Enharmonics, I know, but still.
  4. Alex Jebailey is sending us a list of requested sources from the community, so don't get started JUST yet. We want to see if we can fill these source requests for the games.
  5. Whoa man, sounds good. Need something high-energy if you can. Yesss. Let me know.
  6. Capcom already made a level builder in Mega Man Powered Up, a PSP remake of the first Mega Man game, many many years ago. They're not going to revive Mega Man Universe, which was not a very good game to begin with.
  7. I seriously doubt that.
  8. You really need to back off. He's asking perfectly valid questions and you're being unreasonably hostile. Knock it off.
  9. To be fair, most of the later Mega Man games never sunk to the depths that the Sonic franchise went to. It was just a few bad Mega Man X games. The Zero and ZX series were really good, and Battle Network and Star Force had their run. Mega Man games weren't really "bad games" in the same way that Sonic games were; Sonic games didn't just suffer from poor design choices, they were also poorly made. Mega Man games were—at the very least—technically sound. But yeah, the real problem Capcom has with Mega Man is that while the games are good, they're not blockbuster successful, and there's a big fragmentation in the franchise. They have Classic, X, Zero, ZX, Legends, Battle Network, and Star Force. The brand identity is so spread out that it actually affects how financially successful the line is. Mega Man is a lot of different things to a lot different people, and that makes it hard for a company to pin down what to do with it.
  10. Yes. Because Mega Man is the best.
  11. I know room numbers get tossed around a lot and usually people are okay with it, but I personally don't like when my room fills up with 15+ plus people, some of whom I don't actually know all that well. Your best bet is to keep an eye on the status of the OCR suite and hang out there with people.
  12. We'll create a Mag 14 thread when it's actually relevant.
  13. More about Apex Series! http://apex-series.com Download it! http://apex.ocremix.org Torrent! http://bt.ocremix.org/torrents/Apex_2015_-_This_Is_the_Moment.torrent
  14. Everyone always says this after they see me for the first time. I have no idea why.
  15. Capcom doesn't have a problem with Mega Man fans. Mega Man fans have a problem with Capcom. Mega Man fans won't be happy until you give them a Mega Man game. That's the only thing they want. Putting him in Street Fighter won't solve anyone's problem.
  16. Guys stop putting out false info.
  17. Let's make this official. Moved.
  18. Thanks! I actually joked Saturday night that I was done with all of my Magfest responsibilities and then djpretzel suggested I moderate the Pro Composer panel when I got there, so I said "I guess I'm on this panel now." Thanks for the comments about the How to Make Remixes panel. I will say what I said at the start of the panel: that panel is not really intended to be a step-by-step workshop or a lecture/class that you can walk away from knowing exactly how to make remixes. It's more of a discussion mixed with a demonstration to give you and idea of what the process is like and to answer questions people have about the process in general. This was Neblix's first year doing the mixing panel and he only had about 2 hours to prepare; it was a very last minute thing. Being able to produce something on the fly and also talk about it takes a lot more practice. It's something that zircon can do pretty well and he's done a little more demonstration-style stuff before, but even in past years we've generally followed the same format of General Discussion/Q&A alternating with seeing what the mixer is doing. Arranging on the fly in a short amount of time requires a lot of focus, so it's better to let the mixer step back from the panel and do their own thing while the rest of us talk.
  19. Ryan got it. Hit the thread! Happy Wedding!
  20. We already have a thread dedicated specifically to Magfest 13, so that discussion can go in this thread. Merged.
  21. What the heck! Don't go to Magfest and not say hi to anyone! Also Magfest has historically been Thursday through Sunday.
  22. I'm home from Magfest. I had a great time, as always, although I can't say I'm a huge fan of the Friday-through-Monday thing they did this year. Felt weird. Highlights: - All three OCR Panels, despite being in the Deep Dark of Panel 2. - Smashketball - The Nando's Ex-PERI-PERI-ence - Watching the second Kenshin live-action movie with OCR crew - OCR Staff dinner - Singing Happy Birthday to Deia in monotone with parallel fifths harmony at the Panel - SEEING PEOPLE I HAVENT SEEN IN A WHILE
  23. Athena Cykes is one of the main attorneys in AA5, and you can play as Mia Fey in AA3.
  24. Super excited about this, but I need to point out that the Projects forum is specifically for OCR-approved official projects. As far as I know, neither Dave, Larry, nor I have heard about this album project before. Moving this over to R&C for the time being. EDIT: NEVERMIND I AM A STUPID BUTT! BRING ON THE JAZZ!!! ITS THE BEGINNING OF A NEW AND EXCITINGLY DIFFERENT STORY!
  25. It's Risky Boots's. Boots is her name and a proper noun.
