I spoke with Darangen not too long ago, and it seemed as if he seemed to forget about the track. I hope he seems to find time somewhere
-
Its tentative revival date is at January 8th 2007, though that could change depending on the speed of the website staff.

Well I DO have full access again, however bear in mind that as long as I'm floating around the college campus, I can't even use IRC thanks to college firewalls. The only way I can be given a direct conversation to is through either MSN or Skype.
-
In terms of writing, do you mean the arrangement of the drums? I'm sure I'll be able to fix any quirks in there at least. And if by the mixing you meant your input for that matter, I'm sure that'll be something to work upon.
-
Eap O_o Well I'm actually back at campus, so I can still get back to working on it. From next week I will be able to access the source files again, should you want me to get on with it. Also, what happened to Hemo just out of curiosity?

Ah, that explains everything. I apologise for jumping into the wrong conclusion.

They should all be here for the taking.

PS4 orchestral project discussion (on hold for awhile)
Rexy replied to Claado Shou's topic in ReMix Requests
Yeah, I too would go with some Phantasy Star coverage down here. Basically, OCR is all about praising game music, no matter how popular or obscure it is. That meaning can seem to vary on just about anyone. In my case, games like Tomb Raider can get really popular but have little remix coverage, meanwhile there are games like Chrono Trigger that never got released in my home country, or even obscure yet, titles like Seiken Densetsu 3 which never got released outside Japan, yet those two managed to hold some well received coverage to call their own. On top of that, Geoff Taucer and The Prophet are both working on a Radical Dreamers project together right now, so I think there should be a little more time to pass before Chrono Cross could even come into consideration. So yeah, I may be blabbering on in this post but I hope this gets taken into thought. -
That's true. The Overture collab for Children of Erdrick was scrapped and left to a single figure to do the job. But either way, I'm seeing that this is steadily making headway. Though, to tie in with the 75% fill quota rule that was mentioned in the FAQ, I'd probably say you'd aim for at least 20 filled spots before you start raiding GenDisc. I hope this is some kind of help.

Most of Kirbymixer's tracks are at VGMix, though it's hard saying that now ever since that site's down at the moment. I think the only two remixes that seem to be in mere existance at the moment is "Drops of Dreamriver" from Rise of the Star (which Nineko linked to) and his sole entry into the PRC "I See Light", which ironically, covered some Kirby 64 music

Koelsch, the guy you quoted has more than five personnel on his project, though I wouldn't be as harsh as he was saying though. As much as I appreciate your sax work, I'd say try not to make it sound like you were attacking the wrong guy(s). My apologies for posting that message in the Xenogears topic by mistake

I think the best idea to go about this is to track down any Mario specialists. Mind you, what kind of genre do you have in mind for your arrangement; is it rock? Is it trance? Is it salsa? (actually scratch that last suggestion ) It would also help if you are able to get out there and promote the project a little more. Being stuck in the Requests forums is tough, and I learnt the hard way with the Dragon Warrior project in its first month or so. From project experience, I would advise you to PM anyone and everyone about it; if you have thoughts of any specific artists covering specific songs (like you did when contacting me to do Cortex), ask them. If that falls through, go through your next choices in line and so on and so on. I am really sure this will help things out. On top of that I will be able to arrive at the Liverpool campus on Sunday, and once I do I will be able to start work on my arrangement. Odds are I may need to find a guitarist myself to help cover some ground, but we'll see what happens

That's true, but why did you censor it? You know that anyone reading this will soon stumble across the playlist for that show.

Apparently VGF84 is out and ready for the public. Do you suppose ********* has been given public exposure too?

Milky Way Wishes: A Kirby Super Star Tribute - History
Rexy replied to Arek the Absolute's topic in Projects
Well I'm just about to head back to the University campus next week. Sign me on for Credits -
Apparently, Compyfox is under the impression that as long as he's banned he can't do squat. I would suggest that you try to get in contact with him about it. I've tried numerous attempts but he can't stop talking about his problems with OCR. Either way, let me snag the MP3. It's been a while

I know you're without a way to host on the Emory servers unless you pass them to Paige (does she have email btw?), though odds are Herograw would somehow come in here and give you a hand on that. Or if not, you can call him.

I think The Coop had some Thunder Force coverage hosted on VGMix, though I can't even remember if it's the game you implied. Either way, I can provide you a couple of links on this matter. "Dual Storm" (BrainCells & CarboHydroM) A metal collab between two of my fave guitarists in the community. It won the Dwelling of Duels Space Shooters theme in February 2005. SIDE NOTE: BrainCells made a Thunder Force 3 mix and subbed it to the panel, though it got rejected on grounds of minimal arrangement. I don't know if I can find it unless VGMix comes back online in the next five minutes. "Waves of Adrenaline" (goat) Just scroll down the page and you'll see it; his direct links have too many spaces to make a proper link in this post. But anyway, this is another metal-ish track, though this time it's his take on The Grubby Blue Dark. I actually am impressed with his level of arrangement in this one in comparison to some of his other works

Welcome to new judges, Big Giant Circles and pixietricks!

I just saw your first votes, guys. And I know for sure I'm seeing a great chunk of potential on you both. Reminders of Harmony and GrayLightning respectively come to mind for the way you present your votes and whatnot (not saying that you guys are replacing them or anything but I just wanted to point that out), which isn't much of a bad thing at all. Nice work -

First and foremost, I was not attacking Jill, neither do I have hard feelings for her. I was just being a little analytical in what she's provided music-wise, that's all. Though, I've come to understand your words on that her test batch writeups were impressive so I hope I'll see her providing some good public writeups too. Once again, I want to wish both her and Jimmy the best of luck on their time serving on the panel. Hopefully they'll serve the site well -

Aw man, Compyfox is so gonna be pissed. I congratulate you both however. I may be skeptical on Jill however given that I've yet to see her use anything other than her voice (no links to Prayer plz), but I'm sure she'll provide a good sugar coating to the panel with her feminine charm. And I also love BGC's music too; amazing what he can do to help add some life to the otherwise lifeless Slayer, right? Now get to work -
I tell you what, for the big collab at the end, if you would prefer to have dhsu on the keys, will it be ok if I still contribute with a recorder or something?
-
No matter what I still have to wait until 5 in the morning, so I'd still be dozing while the release comes through. Interesting move, mind you.
