why when he was a lad, he mixed four dozen tracks every morning to help him get ample now that he's grown, he mixes five dozen tracks, all of them using OMG GIGASAMMMMPLESSSSSSS. (had to force that one...) No-o-o-o-o o-o-ne fights like Wingless! Makes sound bites like Wingless! Creates Flash-based, dial-up-killing sites like Wingless! Sorry, but that just wins. Period. Haha.

FRUITY LOOPS 101 - PLEASE direct -ALL- FL questions here
Navi replied to starla's topic in Music Composition & Production
Humor me in this conversation and explain to me how two bands are useful... I know Waves is supposed to be the OMGHOTSTUFF...but I really can't grasp how two bands would function sufficiently. -

while it may not be the same, or easier, a good alternative to that is to put multiple (2 - 3) ParaEQs on a track and put the specific EQ zones you want across the multiple plugs? -
Gosh it disturbs me to see you, Wingless Looking so down in the dumps Every guy here'd love to be you, Wingless Even when taking your lumps There's no man on the forums as admired as you You're ev'ryone's favorite black guy Everyone's awed and inspired by you And it's not very hard to see why...

Agreed. I still recommend you import it to an external audio editor for post-production. eh. you can do it all in FL if you wanted to. granted, its tough getting a good full eq done on the whole piece, but thats a problem in general, i've found. or does someone know of a good free software that has a really nice eq on it? i don't like the lack of flexibility that the fruity one has. What do you mean by lack of flexibility? I may not be very knowledgeable of EQ software or anything, but most of the stuff i've used/seen has static EQ points that you can raise or lower, while FL lets you customize those points individually, which seems to me to be more flexible than a normal EQ vst/effect. -
Yay! A convert! Every morning just the same, since the morning that we came (that's dirty), to this poor provincial town ... good morning belle. where are you off to? grumble grumble

yes, but... who could ever learn to love... a beast? *pizzacato string* *sustained high strings* *curtain opens on small marketplace at dawn* "Little town, it's a quiet village. Every day, like the one before .... " More like And I would do anything for love, I'd run right into hell and back I would do anything for love, I'll never lie to you and that's a fact But I'll never forget the way you feel right now, oh no, no way And I would do anything for love, but I won't do that, I won't do that Anything for love, oh I would do anything for love I would do anything for love, but I won't do that, oh I won't do that

There was a time when Israfel took leave of the vgmixing community, and we were all deprived for it. Creative take on the pac man stuffs. A BIT dragging, but nothing i would call home to complain. The vocal samples reminded me a bit of Edward Scissorhands. Dunno why.

I had this looping for like an hour just now. I love it. Great stuff from analoq.

Agreed. By the way, this is classic djcrono. I love this track. -
Nice observation! And you are correct to boot. This track was greatly influenced by the soundtrack to both Akira and the Ghost in the Shell series, thus the original choice for the name ("Ghosts In The Lab"). Eventually, it morphed into "Ghosts of Mars" - which, by coincidence, is a very fun sci fi movie. The instrumentation is specifically based on a couple of tracks from the Ghost in the Shell: Innocence soundtrack, the Parade scene and the Dollhouse theme.

Well, I finally got my vocals in for the big Cammie collab. Finally. FINALLY. Haha. Now I'll go back to work on the other Cammie song. Seriously, I can't even remember what it sounds like but I have a feeling it sucked. I'm gonna redo it completely. LONG LIVE THE NEW FLESH, BABY. ps: jawesome wip, malc. -
