Nah, Link's sword isn't too bad. I'm talking about swords larger than their carriers.
-
I haven't bought a Squeenix game in a loooooong time. I think that was around the time the company lost it's dignity and became a prostitute for fanboys who worship spikey haired blondes with oversized swords. We all know there's only one man who should have the right to carry oversized swords, and he doesn't belong to Square.

The challenges are my favorite part. I'm saving all of those hammers, because you know there are going to be some tough ones later on.
-
They come back to life in the SNES version too. Also, I don't want a sequel. Square's starting to take little rabbit dumps on my childhood.
-
This news is actually a couple of months old. Anyway, I'm glad it was taken out. Less focus on moving the control pad back and forth and more on aiming weapons and doing nice drifts.
-
Nintendo obviously didn't take my idea. It was to control the kart with the nunchuck and use the remote pointer to aim and shoot weapons. You could double dash by sharing the control with a friend, allowing for 8 players. Nope Nintendo didn't listen to me, but I am so preordering it.

That thing is stupid. Mario wouldn't look like that in 'real life' because nobody's face would grow such a way in 'real life'. He'd be a 5 foot something stocky dude, like Lou Albano but not quite as ugly.

http://www.ocremix.org/remix/OCR00468/ This may be the most relaxing music I've ever heard in my life. It's also one of my favorite remixes and I've never the played the official game. I hope you listen to it and enjoy the hell out of it.

As A Musician, What Is Your Greatest Achivement
Devyn replied to TheSnowStorm's topic in General Discussion
I don't hate the extreme, over-the-top musicianship approach. If you want to play a 3-minute high-speed solo, then go ahead. I actually like to hear Steve Vai, Van Halen, and Dragonforce when the mood strikes me. The thing is, it seems that most of the people who are into that are musicians themselves. That's fine with me. The problem is when the same people start pulling out the musicianship ruler and gaging the musical penises of other musicians. That's ridiculous. It's also ridiculous when musicians from different genres knock each other. I play in a hard rock band (although it's of the catchy hook-based kind), and I've played with hardcore and death metal musicians who've just ripped us apart for no apparent reason other than that are songs have choruses and words that may appeal to the popular crowd (gasp!). I've also run into a lot of scene kids who knock on metal and hard rock because it's "corny" and "cliched". It's the haters I hate. Okay, I will say that I get sick of the mediocre rock out there, such as the bands that sound like Nickelback, Staind, etc. My personal approach, as a guitarist and songwriter, is to make catchy songs that "sound good" but still convey meaning and originality. Also, being the only guitarist in my outfit, I like to support the song as well as the other musicians, not overpower it with tons of solos and trickery. I try to bridge the gap between what I enjoy and what others enjoy while employing my own style. This is my approach, and I don't expect other musicians to go by it. Some people play to make themselves feel good, some do it to push the boundaries of musicianship, some to it for the sake of going against the status quo, etc. Whatever works. The important thing is that we get along and don't knock each other for our different approaches. Musicians need to respect each other instead of act like 5-year-olds. -
Yeah, that's been happening with a few other people too. I guess we will have to wait and see if Nintendo or whoever is responsible fixes it.

A lot of you haven't added me yet, so please add me if you don't mind. Also, a couple of you kicked my ass Saturday night. Oh well.
-
I don't get off until 5, and I have some chores and shit, so I'll log in at 7:00, cool? (that is central time, it is 2:13 at the time of this post in central here right now)

But if there wasn't scalping, it would be easier for those people who really want the console to get them. But here's a little thing I'd like to add - There are much bigger problems in the world than lack of availability in consoles. And that's all.
-
A lot of people use the 'supply and demand' argument to justify scalping, but I don't buy it. I'm all about consumer's right to be able to purchase products at the suggested retail price.
-
Let's just say that if the scalpers and trend followers (the ones who buy Wii sports and Zelda then put the thing in the closet) weren't around it would have been much easier to get a Wii. Also, I still think Nintendo is limiting the supply. At this rate, they will have a new console ready by the time Wiis are conveniently available.

Oh really Dhsu? Oh, I do appreciate it. I appreciate it every day for at least an hour, and I'm going to appreciate it to death when I get home, pretty blue light and all.

I added your code and several others who updated theirs yesterday, and I have yet to see you. On the bright side, I have been able to connect to a few random matches. I'm pretty new to online gaming, and it was weird playing a team battle with someone I didn't know. It's like you feel that "team spirit" but you don't even know who it is. Anyway, figure out what's going on, 'cause I added you.
-
Also, when you've been a Nintendo loyalist for two decades, it's kinda difficult to sit back and watch the lemmings horde what you would appreciate ten times more.

I came up with some plot summaries for you: Each year, in the dusty town of Anywhereville, there is a great chili cookoff. The strongest and most reputed chili cooking tribes engage in a fierce chili cooking battle that lasts an entire week. The Jalapeño Marauders, who have the secret to the best spice, and the Tomato Terrors, who have the secret to the best consistency, are the leaders of the back. If only they could share their secrets to create the ultimate chili, true happiness and peace would reign in Anywhereville - yet there are a few who know - Can they bring peace to this town before destruction reigns down like a post-chili-cookoff-induced diarrhea thunderstorm? Chubby Nuts, the most timid hamster in the pet store, wasn’t the fastest wheel runner. Nor did he have the greatest cheek-stuffing capacity. He couldn’t even chew a hole in the cage like his smart-assed cousin Waffle Toes - He was a laugh to all at Joey’s Pet Shop. But that is all about to change. After being adopted and encountering an unknown toxin on his new aspiring owner’s hand, he has a wealth of inhuman, or should we say “inhamster”, abilities. His old friends at the pet store have been kidnapped by PETA and it’s up to SUPER CHUBBY NUTS to return them to their rightful home. On top of that, his new owner, a nerdy 10-year-old girl named Madeline, is getting bullied at school - Not for long though, because SUPER CHUBBY NUTS will prevail over evil and hatred!

I have a friend who works at Circuit City. He wanted to get a Wii for his Dad. They got a few in, and it had to be packaged in a cardboard box. Demand is so bad over there that he brought me along as a bodyguard. It took me around 15 or so tries and four or five months to get a Wii. Thanks scalpers, thanks walmart, and thanks Nintendo. The golden award for biggest perpetrators go to the people who list the Wii as "Wii with 5 games!!" when those five games are subgames in Wii sports. Pathetic I say. Happy hunting Suzemabachi.

That's how many seconds it would take him to launch a rocket down the lead singer of Hinder's throat and blow him into tiny little peaces of mediocre rock shrapnel. The rest of the band would cower and shrivel at the appearance of Snake's incredibly manly beard.
-
Snake is a badass, and the only Metal Gear games I have played were the two on NES. He's like the opposite of the band Hinder. In fact, I wish Snake would come to life in the real world and blow up Hinder and Nickelback with those explosives he uses in the game.

OCR01692 - Metroid "Cranial Syphon [Kay-raid]"
Devyn replied to djpretzel's topic in ReMix Reviews & Comments
The best Kraid remix, hands down. It's one thing to make a nice-sounding remix, but it's another thing to surprise and impress a listener who has heard the theme 1,000 times before. -
I added everyone in the base - except two or three whose codes were wrong.
