  1. Ha nice. I play Ice Climbers, so I need something appropriately hammy. My four: 1) It's Hammer Time! 2) Two for the price of one! 3) Double Whammy! I can't think of a fourth one, but rest assured, it will contain an exclamation point.
  2. www.smashboards.com Look around, they have everything you need. But you can only learn how to play pro style through practice, practice, and more practice.
  3. Definitely an amazing scene. As for my favorite, see sig.
  4. We can have all sorts of cool tournaments: pro style, free-for-all, coin, etc. The sky's the limit. EDIT- Once November rolls around, we should just start a Smash tourney thread.
  5. Terra kicks Aeris' ass. hahahahahaha someone had to do it
  6. If by complete you mean full of holes with an incredibly ambiguous ending.
  7. I agree. I felt she was more of a plot device than a character. I found her to be quite annoying, personality-wise. I laughed when she died. I already knew it was going to happen, so any chance of an emotional connection was gone anyway. And for those people who say don't spoil it...the game is ten years old. If you haven't played it by now, you never will.
  8. I'm actually surprised at how excited I am about this. Just yesterday I was bemoaning the idea of online play. But now that it's been announced, I can't wait for it.
  9. We might as well begin organizing the first OCR Brawl tournament now. This is good news.
  10. I never said that Square hasn't done good things since then. But they're certainly not cranking out ports/remakes for the hell of it. Now I can't prove anything I'm saying, but like kupernikus said, TSW killed Square. Six years is not a long time to take recovering from a catastrophic business decision.
  11. It's pretty much a certainty that a remake is coming. Square is still trying to dig itself out of that hole The Spirits Within put them in. I think they're just waiting for the PS3's user base to grow more.
  12. YES. I wait with much anticipation for part II. This is pretty much how I dreamed Dancing Mad would sound if orchestrated. Excellent, excellent work.
  13. I agree with everything you said. Wobbling won't make someone who's horrible that much better, so there's nothing to worry about for most people. If you don't want to get wobbled, don't get grabbed. There are already characters where you want to avoid being grabbed at all costs (Sheik, Marth and Fox come to mind immediately), and anyone who knows ICs avoids being grabbed anyway. So not that much has changed really. I just personally find chain-grabbing easier than wobbling. Haha, thanks for the sig love. Doulifee makes awesome sigs.
  14. Here you are, sir: http://smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=116160 Like I say in the thread, I feel that anything that can be accomplished by wobbling can be accomplished by chain-throwing. Chain-throwing racks up damage way faster, so you don't have to worry about perfect timing. If you can wobble, go for it, but I prefer chain-throwing. When both are done right, it's pretty much the same outcome: cheap KO's
  15. How do you figure? Since we're on the topic of the ICs, I'll ask a question. The members of SBR on Smashboards recently voted to un-ban wobbling in tournaments. What do you guys think of that? I think that it's fine to unban the technique, but I personally refuse to wobble. It's extremely anti-competitive, and it's also just a risky move in general. If you're lucky enough/skilled enough to get a grab in with the ICs (since everyone avoids it anyway), a chaingrab is probably better anyway.
  16. Yes, my main is back. Chaingrabs ftw.
  17. Also against Sheik, try to avoid stages with platforms. She will needle-cancel and fair/uair you to death.
  18. My thoughts exactly. I'm not sure why there's so much sword hate. It's not like there aren't characters that outreach the sword characters anyway.
  19. I will do my patriotic duty and celebrate with hours of Twilight Princess.
  20. Yeah, it can't. Thanks for the help though.
  21. I've been recording TV with my cheap Nikon CoolPix L4 digital camera, and I've always had lines from the YV show up in the video, butthey weren't too bad. However, today I recorded a few matches of SSBM and the lines were so dark and so recurring that they pretty much made one of the matches unwatchable. Is there a technique or program I can use to clean that up, or am I stuck?
  22. I've had no luck getting reviews from smashboards. None at all.
  23. Make sure you turn off all other lights, and just keep the camera on a flat surface as opposed to trying to hold it yourself. In other news, I won my first tournament today. Nothing major, just a small thing with like 12 people at my local Game Crazy. The best thing was that I beat my rival for the first time in tournament play, which felt good. I won Zelda: Twilight Princess, so all in all a good day I'd say.
