That was pretty cool. I'd only been dating my wife for four months before she became pregnant (ALWAYS USE A CONDOM! THE PILL IS A SHAM!), and nine months before we were married. I love her more than anything in my life, and it didn't take me a whole year to come to that conclusion. If your marriage is going to work, it will work regardless if you've known each other for five months or five years. It's not hard, despite what you see on TV, sitcoms, etc. It's the natural evolution of a serious committed relationship. If you look at it in that light, as the next step in a continuing process as opposed to a life-altering event, then you have nothing to worry about. If you already live together, share money, bills, food, and your bedroom, then what has really changed other than wearing a ring you didn't have before?

Thanks for the tips. Do you play Zelda at all? I like her better actually. Similar physics, similarly awesome recovery, but no djc and no down smash spam (well, not quite as good anyway). There's just something awesome about sweet-spotting her f-air. EDIT- Yay! First post on page 400!

Yeah, it's been way too long. I haven't written a short story (or anything else for that matter) in over a year. It's great to see that the writing competitions have been so successful.

You obviously have not watched two noobs play a match on Hyrule Temple. It's the most long and frustrating match you'll ever see.

Hm, the Freeform only competition sounds interesting. It's been a long time since I've entered one of these competitions. Let's see if I still remember how to write.

Skies of Arcadia Legends: YES Seriously, why didn't anyone tell me how awesome this game is three years ago? Sure, the characters, the story and the battle system are nothing new, but there is something about the atmosphere that makes the game so great. Play it, it is definitely worth it.

Hm, I'm a little dissapointed by the fact that they're taking some characters out. I don't mind the clones, I actually like some of them. I hope they just take some characters like C. Falcon and Gdorf and re-design them.

Yeah, Nus used Falco, which is one of the characters I have the greatest difficulty against. I use the IC, but it's hard to chaingrab a character that can shine you right out of a shield grab. Oh well, we'll see how I do next time.

Yeah, I participated as well. I managed to come in second: http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=103416 I sent Nus to the loser's bracket when we played earlier in the tournament, but he got his revenge in the finals. I used Tournament Maker 2, and it definitely did help, because there's no way I could do a double-elimination bracket by hand. It was alot of fun, definitely.

Can anyone take on a special project for me? I need a sig for my crew on Smashboards, but I'm still gathering the materials. Any takers?

So I just hosted my first tournament last Thursday at my school. Nothing big, so we had 28 people show up. It was cool, but damn I didn't know it took so much work to run a tournament! From setting up to announcing matches and running the bracket to breaking down, I was exhausted by the end of the day. But it was a great experience, and I hope to learn from it and start hosting bigger events in the future.

As bad as this sounds for the direction the movie is taking, we can all rest assured that there's no way they can top casting a Frenchman as Guile in the first movie.
