Turns out it was a delivery confirmation number, not a tracking number. /facepalm So, it might be on track for a Christmas delivery after all.

I just checked the package tracking number I received when I shipped my secret Santa gift. According to the Canada Post website, the most recent status is "Item accepted at the Post Office". Which means it hasn't been scanned since it left the post office... or that it hasn't left the damn post office at all. I'm realllllly sorry if the gift doesn't arrive before Christmas. I was told that it would take a two weeks at the latest to get there, but now I'm not so sure if it'll arrive on time.

For my track I just need to re-record one quick section and tweak the mixing a little. Should have it finished tonight. Would have had it done last week if it wasn't for stupid final exams. EDIT: I'm aware that I haven't shared a WIP (or told anyone what I'm doing, for that matter). Trying to keep it a surprise (and trying to prevent a very unfinished WIP ending up on the album). Don't worry though, I'm sure no one's covering it for the album. In fact, I'd be very surprised if anyone else has even heard of it.

Is the cover art what I think it is? Will be downloading soon as I get home from work.

'Bout time this one showed up here. I first heard this in December of last year; it still sounds fresh hearing it a year later. Top notch stuff, PoD and GB.

It certainly would have fooled me. It's a very good imitation of that distinct Justice sound; the bass is spot on, and nice work approximating the . This one gets a huge thumbs up from me. Great job!

Just got home from the post office. Just a warning: I had to declare the package contents for customs purposes, so not only will the person who gets it know who it's from, but what's inside the envelope before the envelope is even opened. Great job as always. Loved the Zelda and SMB3 references as well, they fit in with the rest of the song much better than I expected! I'm a little more partial to All My Bubbles Burst, but don't take that as a slight against this rendition, both are excellent.

This track is right up my alley. I'm really impressed by the drum work. There are a few sections were I would have liked things to be a bit tighter (like DragonAvenger mentioned), but in the long run those don't really detract from the song at all. All of the comparisons to Zeppelin... if that's not high praise, I don't know what is!

I apparently ordered this album sometime around 4:00AM this morning. Must have been in some near-sleep daze or something, 'cause I don't really remember doing it. That being said, I do not regret it one bit.

There's also Rush Coil's 8-bit Christmas album. Worth checking out.

I was pretty convinced when I first saw . When I heard the 'Jam' sample ripped from the rom, though, I knew it was more than just a rumor. Nice to see it confirmed.

I'd say I'm about 70%-80% done with my track. I'll have it finished by Monday. (I start writing exams that week, and the day after I finish exams I'm going home for Christmas, so Dec 7 is pretty much a fixed deadline for me.)
