I want to say that this is one of my favorite songs on this site ever. Liz is a wonderful musical talent, and I can't wait to hear more someday.

Agreed for the most part.

The best motivation for me on making music is listening to other music that I love, and wanting to be better than that.

I just really want a real piano, that sounds beautiful, and a place to record it.

Hey thanks. This is actually a song that's around six + years old (one of my first attempts at making music)... It's nice to see that someone likes its, I have to admit that I made this thread kind of as a joke while drunk 8^U Also the DQ Project is gonna be MUCH better than this song lol. But thanks.

This is a really really good song and you can tell Doug put everything he could at the time into it. Really great job, well done.

Hey, just listened. I think it's important that you should be asking yourself what you are going for. Are you going for a distinctive sound... The drums are very electronic, but the guitar has a more rock quality. The piano is obviously a nice reference to Silent Hill 2, but I think together these elements just don't gel. In reference to what you probably want a Silent Hill remix to sound like, go for more atmospheric pads, and you can mellow out that piano a bit with the writing, right now it's just a very flat way to carry that melody. Your guitar is very nice. (the later guitar, the riff that repeats I think has some timing issues)... I don't really know how else to comment until I hear more, but for now, work on making the piece more cohesive as a whole that = more than the sum of its parts. Also and I'd probably focus on a more rockish kit to emphasize that guitar, or a more Silent Hill electronic (trip hop, industrial) kit for atmosphere, whichever works for what you're going for.

I used to have a more girly name back in like 2001/2002 on the forums/on irc... I got a lot of flack back then for just being a WOMAN ON THE INTERNET. I got tired of it and also I remember having debates with some dude in college about him using the word "Monobrow" instead of "Unibrow", which was a joke we had, but I remember taking it kinda seriously... I just one day thought... Why the hell would you take a debate like that seriously? So I decided to kill two birds with one stone and make a name that was not gender-specific and also stop taking myself so damn serious, as I sometimes tend to do... I still fall into that pattern every once in a while. :J AND THEN MONOBROW WAS BORN ON THAT DAY, ON THAT VERY DAY
