The tune would basically be playing during one of the levels of an action/platforming game, segmented into loops. The bit toward the end would be the time-is-running-out jingle, and the outro at the very end would be left out. The lack of percussion was specifically done to make room for sound effects.

Is it just me, or does it end with a really long fade-out? Anyhow, this does sound like it would fit a town setting for a game quite well. What is this "MMLS"? P.S.: If you like, you can give me some feedback on my track, "Peaches and Plums" that I posted in another thread. I've had the idea of submitting it for use in a video game score.

I'm sure a well-respected arranger will make a fine remix of the Fortress of Fear theme, eventually. In the meantime, here's my something-or-other.

That's how I get my remix ideas. It's much easier to interpret something if it isn't literally written in front of my face.

It needs a full-on cover from a live band.

Here's first part of an idea I've been kicking around: an arrangement of the haunted house merry-go-round music in Super Mario 64. It's sort of a hip hop thing. *earlier version removed* My remix (updated): "Carousel Hell" (v2) Source tune: Super Mario 64 - "Merry-Go-Round" This started playing in my head when I first played the game, but I wasn't able to get it out until now.

Throwing out a vintage Casio keyboard I had since I was little. I was just listening to The Juan Maclean's "In the Afternoon" and this unexpected rush of grief fell over me...

It seems like the melody just fades out at about 1:00. It might be better to gradually detune it instead, so it leads into the next section. Besides that, I like this remix and wish to hear the rest.
