  1. no minimum bid for anything? hell yeah i'll bid! edit: poop stains... =( =( =(
  2. if one of those three green tracks drops, let me know and i'll whip something up quick. i've got a lot of free time lately.
  3. oh, hey, that's not bad. i'll plan on that then, and i'll let you know when i order.
  4. this question might have already been answered, so sorry if it has been. if i want to buy both versions of the kit, is there a way i can do this? like, i'd like it in both formats - i don't need the samples in both formats, but i'd like both sets of presets and all that. would i have to buy the whole set twice, or is there a package deal? this isn't going to be immediate, but when my XBLA game gets funding from a publisher i get a pretty large budget for samples and stuff, and i planned on picking up all three sound libraries from you guys. edit: you might want to update the front page of your website - it still says that Groove Bias is 'coming soon' with a release date that was about a month ago.
  5. save it. there's some good DL titles coming this summer for all genres.
  6. yeah, and the rest was shipping, my own fees, and paypal.
  7. for what it's worth, he got a system based around a q9550, 4 gb of ram, and a 9800gtx+ graphics card. he got two major components used (from me), and it cost around 1100$ or so, right? i don't remember. so, can i throw out the boxes now? =)
  8. if you like horror games and can't afford a good pc, dead space is excellent. i personally hate them, but i still thought the production and backstory on it for the first fifteen minutes were pretty damn good. ninja gaiden's ridiculously hard but still fun.
  9. hey, forgot i subbed that way back when =) so happy i finally got a mix past the judges. fourteen tries =)
  10. hey, i forgot about this. hooray, my first solo mix! been a little while since i did this one =)
  11. star ocean's voice actors are absolutely horrid, possibly the worst in any game i've ever played. how do these people get hired? i'll vomit into a mic and give the mp3 to them if it'll get me in a game, and it'll sound better.
  12. master of ellipses? try master of understatement.
  13. i mentioned it. it's worth pointing out that, as a AAA title, it's not the absolute best graphics or the most bug-free experience. mercer gets caught on walls, glitches around the map occasionally, and there's some damn hard levels that are far more difficult than they were intended to be (i think). there's also little to do after the 20-hour mark or so. but it's incredibly entertaining while it lasts. did i mention afro samurai? same deal - not much beyond the first time through the story unless you're a completionist, but it's SO much fun. the soundtrack kicks ass, too.
  14. just something i found. 140$ for a 22" widescreen acer monitor. i've got the older version of this, and i love it. great color, great contrast, good response time. for 140$!
  15. deathbump. if anyone decides to use hamachi instead of battle.net, i've got a lvl. 26 paladin that's decent at tanking and cleansing/resist auras. and i smite the shit out of everything in my way.
  16. shaun and i have played a few times, but the time difference until he came back to the states was a huge issue. i'm fairly certain you can't play two on a screen, too. edit: don't get orange box unless you can't play it on your pc. it's a better deal on pc, and you've got all the extra content that the pc version gets that the 360 version doesn't. and it's way buggier on a console.
  17. probably just for the demo, i'd think. a AAA title won't release with minimum voice casting, that's for sure.
  18. dammit, bardic, you missed the best game of all, CATAN! i'll play your wife any day!
  19. assassin's creed, bioshock and mass effect are very fun games. mass effect feels like KOTOR with guns. bioshock is possibly one of the most engrossing games of this generation thusfar (but it's cheaper on Steam irregardless of the system - they had a sale where it was 5$ ). i'd add mirror's edge to bardic's list - it's basically a platformer, but it's first person and has some phenomenal graphics. really fun to play well. i noticed you didn't have some of the FPS games that have helped the 360 sell so much in there - halo 3, gears 1 and 2 (2's better, but 1's got a lot there), and RE5 - but there's some other genres that are excellent. star wars force unleashed is currently 15$ at gamecrazy, and is probably the best action star wars title to date (yes, i think it's better than battlefront). i put a lot of time into chronicles of riddick (FPS, but there's easily 30 hours of gameplay there), and halo wars was fun while it lasted although it's short. i enjoyed wheelman, which is a racing/action game with a few letdowns. gta4 was one of the most immersive sandbox games to come out recently, and the DLC for it (lost and the damned) is almost 20 hours of gameplay for 20$. overlord was incredibly entertaining, and crackdown and saints row 2 were both sandbox games that featured over-the-top entertaining violence and general badassery. don't forget fable 2, which was incredibly entertaining as well, and had some really fun DLC. fallout 3 is incredible if you don't have a pc, and the DLC for it is incredibly entertaining and really extends the game well beyond the initial disc. if you feel like spending, prototype was off the chain. it's SO much fun, a sandbox game with superhero powers but no morality system. excellent.
  20. got another wip from sloopygoop. looks like he's pretty close to done, just have to send him my critiques and the next version will be the finished version. keep them coming, guys!
  21. the voice acting last game was excellent, i felt. i'm sure it'll be good this time around as well.
  22. yeah, that'd probably be the best choice. just post something in the general requesting someone's services, and i'm sure you'd find someone interested in doing it. before you ask, i don't do hip-hop remixes.
  23. an excellent way to remove fuzz is to actually buy the song on iTunes or something. the fuzz you're hearing is a result of the song being downsampled so significantly that major sections of the audio soundscape have actually been removed. seriously. they're a dollar. the remix is pretty damn poor anyways. anyone here could do a better job.
  24. i didn't see a link in ToN's post, so no, i didn't read it.
  25. if you want to run everything, get an MSI wind.
