you'd think i'd take my own advice once and a while! =)
in terms of musical inspiration, @StarBLaSt is an artist that is incredibly inspirational to me. tracks like "airships make me happy" and "pillar of salt" just blow my mind at their creativity and uniqueness.

Just wanna chime in to note that I built a machine in July, entirely based on parts suggested to me by prophetik, and it's served me super well since then. Huge props! Man knows what he's doing.

Brad was very capable, very knowledgeable, and very precise with all parts of how he manages this 'hobby,' as he calls it. Well, hobby or not, he has shown me a level of integrity and customer service I don't see in this world much - and I have a lot of respect for that.

arcadia legends was trying to get out in time for their 15y anniversary. since we're not aiming for a specific date, i agreed to let arcadia come out first.

there's a lot of planning and organization behind the scenes that needs to happen, and it's performed by volunteers who have all sort of personal stuff that might occupy their time. in the same way that it might take someone months to finish a 4-minute track, organizing a release can take a lot of time too!

Just chiming in with an update:
Our current plan is that Chronopolis will be the first OC ReMix album released in 2019 (yay!) This is partly because we're trying to get Arcadia Legends out this month (yay, but also difficult!)

this is a good way to say it. i got a few degrees in music that essentially nailed the coffin on ever doing it professionally simply because i hated it so much by the time i was done - the in-culture, the requirement to network constantly, and the number of good gigs going to someone because they knew a guy that knew a guy instead of going to the best choice (not that i ever was that) really was a turn-off. the actual music was fun, but doing it for a job was maybe 10% of that.
then we had some kids, and my hours changed, and my priorities changed. success for me was providing for my family no matter the circumstances, and finding a way to pursue more than just one interest both from a financial and time standpoint. i think i've accomplished that pretty comfortably. it looks way different than what i thought it'd be in my early 20s, and that's probably for the better now that i know more about who i am and who i am not.

at this time we're roughly next in line. i have more information that i'm waiting to be finalized before i say a specific date, but it should be very soon.
