  1. THAT'S what the other theory was (Spanish soap opera). When I logged off last night, something was nagging me about that. Anyway... I personally don't believe they're one and the same unfortunately, for several reasons... - The bridge of the actor's nose seems to be more pronounced (might be to viewing angle though). - The shape of the actor's face, even with the less poofy hair, appears longer than the round face of NWG. - The bottom of the actor's nose looks narrower. - The actor has a longer chin. And here's my final bit of evidence... I used an old trick to compare their faces. First, you rotate both heads so that they're eyes are horizontally level, and then scale the larger head down so that the eyes and the bottom of the nose basically line up. As you can see, the actor's head looks too small on the NWG's body after doing this, yet his chin still extends below the NWG's, even though both have a very similar facial expression. It's a good likeness, but I doubt it's our mystery man.
  2. It's actually closer to one twentieth I believe that's what it was. However, I don't recall ever seeing links to anything, or posted images, comparing NWG to anyone.
  3. I read that a long time ago, but I never saw any proof, links or anything else to show his theory to be anything but that... a theory.
  4. A bump? No. This is akin to ramming the thread with a diesel locomotive running at top speed towing a full 100 car load of coal.
  5. *screenshot of the page as I read this post* UNDENIABLE PROOF! Also, this.

  7. Of course they're not sprites. But these 3D models can be seen as redrawn versions of those old 2D sprites, only using polygons instead of pixels (drawn in the sense of placing points on an X/Y/Z grid, instead of pixels on an X/Y grid). Of course, you could also call these polygons a remolding, seeing as working on 3D models is more like working in clay (start with a basic shape, and build from there). Regardless of how you look at it though, this is yet another version of familiar characters. And speaking of characters, I wonder if Balrog, Vega, Sagat and Bison are going to wind up appearing in some form. They're all that's missing at this point.
  8. Been a while since this thread was updated. Time to fix that. XOP So what is XOP? It's a shmup that used to be sold, but the author decided that it was a failure as shareware. So, he made it freeware. The graphics are bright and colorful, there's little flicker or slowdown, and it has a strange mixture of old DOS and Amiga Euroshmup influences in background and ship designs/colorings. Plenty of stages, several modes, and lots of options to tinker with. It's not a bad game at all, and despite how it looks, it was indeed made for new PCs, so it runs in XP without any problems. Oh, and it's got plenty of bullets and enemies to dodge, as it has a few roots in the Manic shmup world too.
  9. And Chun-Li's thighs continue to get stupidly thick.
  10. I believe it's, "You can get the runs, but not turn into Mr. Hyde." That's probably true. I replaced all of Jekyll's potion with prune juice. Hope he's got Charmin and some reading material. 'The Master of Ballantrae' should do nicely, since it will likely fit his mindset after a few return trips.
  11. I believe it's, "You can get the runs, but not turn into Mr. Hyde."
  12. "Those people"? Are you a Ross Perot knock-off now?
  13. Maybe they have some rare strain of a game-related Progeria
  14. That's the part I don't quite get. Why let yourself be bothered by some teenage stranger who doesn't like Sonic CD, Gargoyle's Quest II, or some other 16-bit or earlier game?
