  1. In co-op with DJ the S i worked on this Medley for about 2 weeks. It was pretty hard because of our Distance and it took alot of Time to Review every Single Change in the Mix but although it was funand a new experience for both of us. Have fun listening to our Result!
  2. From my submission e-mail since I don't want to type it all over again: This actually started life as an original, as heard at my YouTube account ( http://www.youtube.com/user/Draconiator ) under the name "Evening Magic". I was messing around with it one day to see if I could do something cool with it, and in my head, I realized that the Zelda theme could be stuck in there. I had to be a bit creative with the melody, but after 2 hours of completely changing the melody, a Zelda mix popped out. I kept the middle section intact from my original, since it sounds great as is. The mix is here ---> http://www.box.net/shared/72x4nx63yl
  3. Hey thar. Once in a blue moon I'll post something I made here just to see a different level of feedback, =3. This piece belongs to my wolf concept album, obviously inspired from Star Fox's character: Wolf. It's not a remix of the same old tune everyone knows, but something completely different (thus posted in original works). http://soundclick.com/share?songid=9325269 I understand it's probably a little repetitive, but I under estimated the amount of work it takes to leash an entire orchestra, yikes. First time at it too, so I've probably facked up somewhere down the road, XD. Thanks for listening, <3. -Blur

  5. Good day dear OCR community, after a very long time I am proud to present you a new remix made for my open album. Title: Epic Megagames (Kiloblaster Remix) Album: The Unrecognized Powers Game: Kiloblaster Volume 1: Death Of A Starship Remixed: Intro song Genre: Minimal Electronic File: 224 kbps mp3 Listen: http://www.lastfm.de/music/Paul+Ograbisz/The+Unrecognized+Powers/Epic+Megagames+%28Kiloblaster+Remix%29 Download: Klick the album's download button at http://vultracide.net The last year content for this album was produced was 2008, so 2010 is a very happy year for me in this context! I am confident that some of you will find this new music I finished this morning (working over night) very interesting. It was very time consuming to make all peripheral things ready for the new song, such as to update my website and so on... but now the song is ready for your ears! It has some artifacts (clicking) in it, but I don't mind, because the product is finished and the mastering went well enough. The sound failures are part of the final product. This song is not bothered by such earthly issues. ^^ I guess most of you won't even know the game. But half of the song consists of my own melodies, so the connection to the original product is not needed everywhere. Some of you may wonder about the song's title or find it inappropriate. Firstly I want to say that the company's name is written in a special way, its "Epic MegaGames". Further, this remix should represent all of the epic games (superb games -> Megagames! =D) of this company and show respect to them. I hope you enjoy this new remix and that it will knock you down positively. Please do not hesitate to criticise or compliment, but the most important thing is that you listen to it on stream or after download. My music has no value if noone listens to it... So give it a try, if you're bored or interested. =D Yours faithfully, Paul R. Ograbisz.
  6. Just finished the first track for my upcoming album and I want to run it by everyone to get a general feel for things and see what needs some work. Reply or send PM, doesn't matter. Thanks to all who provide their thoughts. http://soundcloud.com/dbrown1986/01-words-without-reason
  7. I did this a WHILE (read: very long time) ago. Enjoy this heinous creation:
  8. So you've probably heard a draft of this if you were paying attention 3 months ago. I've done some tweaking to it, changed some rhythm and percussion parts, and finally wrapped up production on this piece. It's a progressive-ish metal take on "You Can Hear the Cry of the Planet" with a few melodies from the overworld and some other tunes thrown in (can you ID them all?). Comments are more than welcome. http://tindeck.com/listen/tkdt
  9. Level 99 - Fire in the Tires (FINAL) -------------------------------------------------------------------- Source tune: Rad Racer 2 (NES) - Gum Ball Crash My remix, which is already at WIP2 - Fire in the Tires: http://www.mediafire.com/?ncy1ehkjjzz Where I'm taking it from here: Going to drastically change the second verse+chorus to remove much of the guitars and put in either a piano or organ and some synths. Better noodling during the solo Pads and synths during the bridge section More refined ending climax 50's rock style claps during the second chorus, the bridge, and the final chorus. More drum variation ------- This one is more of a revamp of the original track plus some of my own material in there to switch it up. It's not nearly as drastically different from the source as some of my other stuff. It's still a tad too coverish at the moment, but the planned changes for the second verse+chorus and the ending, along with the current bridge section, will end up being enough to keep it from being a cover. Let me know what you think, folks!
  10. This is part of my Shin Megami Tensei Concept Album. I wanted to create an eerie cyberpunk atmosphere with this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kNpi8v1OEiU
  11. This is my orchestrated remix of "Mayahem Temple" From Banjo Kazooie. It's in a medley format with a few different variations of the song. Enjoy. ;} http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jz2uBG8AUZ8
  12. Hey, all. Here's an ice stage concept theme I just wrapped up last night. Would love to hear your thoughts. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9XsxAuYH9RI
  13. Blubeatz, the producer I work with made this, and I had to share it with everyone. It's from his upcoming beat tape presented by me titled ''The Blu-Print'', and it really is a remix of one of his old beats. So, I hope everyone enjoys it and leaves feedback. http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/343399

  16. http://soundtempest.net/soc/single/oc-Raid.mp3 one kick drum sample though I used distortion which is almost cheating this was going to be for my album but I felt it didn't fit, though I think it was good enough so I am sharing it here.
  17. So I made this UK Hardcore remix of Brisk & Ham's track Angel Eyes. Its got some cool breaks and some great melodies. I tried to get the mixdown/master as best as I could. Let me know what you think, did you like it? Is there some way you think I could have improved it? Comments and criticism please http://soundcloud.com/djsymbi/brisk-ham-angel-eyes-dj-symbiotix-remix
  18. made this for a friend's film, but I'm still not even sure what he's going to use it for Tried to make it like sound like a theme song for a space show, like Earth Final Conflict or Star Trek, etc. I think it turned out pretty well. P.S. this is my first post in the Originals, but I don't think I broke any posting rules; please tell me if I did
  19. here's something new i focused on trying to tweak the instruments better than i had done before, so the song wouldn't sound so "mechanical" im not sure if i made it alright (mos likely not) xD anyway, here it is
  20. A song I made for science class about saving the gorillas. Tell me what you think.
  21. So I wrote a three-movement symphonic piece called "Fireworks" and got lucky enough to have our top band at my school perform it at a concert. Tell me what ya think! (I only have a recording of the second and third movement right now)
  22. .mp3 A cover/remix of a really nice .xm by Xerxes. Always up for improvement, even though it's more or less finished.

  24. So i went ahead and did a metal remix for Lady GaGa's Bad Romance. Your welcome, lol. I, just like everyone else, kept hearing this damn song and worked it out in my head over time. I hope you guys like it.
  25. Hey guys. I haven't had much time to really get on here like i wanted to recently due to work....ugh...work..,..anyways, i've been recording a ton of new material due to some big inspirations lately. Mostly power/prog metal, but catchy stuff that i hope you guys will enjoy. First is The Discovery. I really like how the chorus turned out in this one: Second is Hero's Battle. This one reminds me of something from an action/fantasy movie soundtrack. Hence the harp intro and classical guitars in the background: I hope you guys enjoy them as they are part of my next original album that i've almost got finished.
