  1. Hello, It's been a while. Last time I posted a fireman stage remix from mmbn Now I come in hot with an old remix I made in 2015 of mmz2 departure Just so you know, When I get a better guitar VST, I will use it, but untill then, it sounds like it is. Hope you enjoy! In regards to feedback, whatever you can think would be great. It's been a while since I looked at this, so an extra set of ears would help. The lead for example is too loud in some parts, I hear separation between certain breaks and it throws me off... Thank you in adv
  2. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1SuY8PDqJ8sp9N0M6pAArJIPVs-8D00wR/view?usp=sharing So I haven't tried making a remix in a loooong while, and I thought this would be a good track to try out. Ice Cap is a pretty simple tune, and it's been covered a lot, so finding ways to make it unique and interesting seemed like a good challenge. At the moment the track is relatively short (<3 min.) but I don't know if it necessarily needs anything else.. I'd love feedback on whether or not this track is worth pursuing for possible submission to the site. Thanks! Original: https://www.yo
  3. Hello, following my Heat Man remix I got inspired to try again to extend a short theme for several minutes. This time it’s a remix of the “Underworld” theme from Super Mario Bros. 2 which loop is only roughly 10 seconds! Some tiny parts of the song are also from the “Bonus Start”, “Success” and “Failure” theme. The composition is finished and most of the instrumentation is done as well. The percussion isn’t finished, there may be places where it is missing or where it feels off. Also, I’ve been working with some voice SFX in this track, they are far from finished and are scattered a littl
  4. Game Title: Touhou 8 Imperishable Night Track Name: Mooned Insect Original Composer: ZUN Original Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3kAOz5huQg0 Arranged Version: This is an orchestral arrangement of the Stage 1 Boss theme from Touhou 8 Imperishable Night. Feedback of any kind would be appreciated, whether it's on the arrangement itself or the mix.
  5. This is the track that made want to get into music production Curious to hear any feedback!
  6. This is a collaboration project with Souperion. We created this remix of Destiny 2's track The Farm a while ago, and decided we want to refine the song to be high enough quality to be submitted to OCR. This song uses various organic instrument samples from EastWest PLAY plugins. We are seeking feedback on everything from sound quality, arrangement cohesion, to whether or not we should leave in the voice clips from the game. And anything else I haven't thought of. I'll greatly appreciate any examples, instructions, or sources on how to go about the changes suggested so that we can improve
  7. This is my trance arrangement of "Bridge Zone". I called it "Trance-Cap" because the ReMix is a bit like "IceCap" from Sonic 3. Also, strings on background are from Marble Zone (Sonic the Hedgehog). Please rate the ReMix and point out any shortcomings. 8. Hello everyone! I started working on this a few years back after finishing Sword of Mana, but I never finished it, because my computer could not handle it anymore. It was almost finished for 2 years. New PC, a bit of free time (a few days getting all my plugins to work again), and here I come! Featured tracks, in order of apparition : Seeking the Holy Sword GBA version / GameBoy version Investigation of recollection GBA version (exclusive) Crumbling World GBA Version (exclusive) Final Battle GBA version / G
  9. My remix https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_XdxrFYU2koMloBxSJ87NkWr5Y-McoLg/view?usp=drivesdk Original I believe this is ready for mod review. Thanks for ALL constructive criticism ahead of time!
  10. Hi! I've been a fan of OCRemix for a huge amount of years and I finally decided to start trying to make some music of my own. I made some music in my early teens but life shoved me in other directions and I've just recently found the joy of it again. I've always loved the title music for Grand Prix Circut from 1988 and I remember struggling with making a remix of it when I were younger. I found myself struggling with it again for the exact same reason: It's just a short loop with four variations that gets helluva boring really fast. I wanted to do a chiptune/metal hybrid and this
  11. This arrangement is the First part of the Staff Roll of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past and the song "Transatlantism" by Death Cab for Cutie smashed together. It seemed like a clever idea, but I'd like to know if this works or if it's too slow and/or boring. Source Tracks: My arrangement: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1nFy2hvu_NGzPGG1LkO6Sftr9rTuNPzIS/view?usp=sharing Any feedback is much appreciated. Thanks!
  12. Here’s a piece I’ve been working on. It proved a little tricky with the number of different instruments so I’d be curious to hear any opinions on how it turned out. Thanks for listening!
  13. Hello! I'm back with another chill track for your consideration, though this one is a bit wonkier. I've always loved the Mario Party music and figured I'd do a take on the song that gets stuck in my head the most, "Play A Mini-Game" from the original Mario Party. Please let me know your thoughts, in particular with regards to the EQ. Thanks! 14. Made a Hard Man cover earlier and thought I'd see if there was ways to improve it before submitting it. Also, I'm self taught on pretty much everything so it's always good to get some feedback from more experienced people. Here's the Youtube link. Thanks in advance!
  15. Hi everyone, Long time fan of the site (14 years+), first time poster. I wanted to have the dread with 'X the Legend' from the Megaman Zero games but kept hearing bits of 'Raise Thy Sword' from Soul Calibur II in my head as I would hum the melody to see what I might have been missing. This idea started with hearing Jay Reichard's version of X The Legend on VGMusic and realizing it could work as a great base to further studies for harmonies. (Long story short, was a vocalist studying opera, but had an injury that derailed that. So composition isn't my strongest point.) I worked i
  16. A trap/orchestral remix of the Among Us main theme. There was so little material to work with, but I like what I came up with
  17. Hi there. Just one question guys - is this track too hardcore for OCRemix? Thanks.
  18. Original in-game track: Hey there! I was hoping to get feedback on this metal cover of Death Egg Zone from Sonic 2 I just did. It was my second video game cover and I remembered this site from when I was much younger, and thought maybe it could stand to be considered worthy of OC Remix. Please, tell me what you think and if I should submit it for review here! (Also I have a Ristar cover from three weeks ago if you're interested -- also on my YouTube channel)
  19. That's my first ReMix. https://drive.google.com/file/d/19sXKn5D45eJtQriFXC2rlY-muYS6nSp6/view?usp=sharing It's medley of various tracks from Sonic Drift 2, like "Title", races, jingles and "Credits".
  20. Hi Again Got a new remix, Izayoi from the Shiboi 3 Soundtrack. Its always been one of my favourites. Here's hoping i can do it justice. I'd love any feedback or criticism on the mix, composition, arrangement etc. Thanks for your Time!! Remix: Original:

  22. Super Street Fighter 2 - T Hawk Theme Remix (UPDATED) Hi! Hoping to get some feedback on this remix ive done. I'm mostly done with it but i'm trying to polish it up. Some questions. Is it too busy, cluttered sounding? Is it too bass heavy? I tried a brighter variant with more mids and went back to this. The instrumentation ok? Also if you spot any faux pas in there that ive missed, let me know and i'll argue that it was intentional :P Thanks for the advice, ive made some small updates.less swing, levels on pads changed in places. added some definition to the lead sound (
  23. A remix from a game that's not out yet... Why not? This song has lot of sentimental value to me cos this teaser song from Deltarune Chapter 2 (if that is what it's called) was released to Twitter by Toby Fox around the time my firstborn son was born. I had the idea for this cover/remix all the way back then, but because of the family situation the music making needed to take a backseat. Took me 10 months but better late than never, right? Musically I am in my comfort zone here - heavy but melodic - but I wanted to have a pretty faithful remix from the beginning and then go to my ow
  24. Would this be a solid track for the OCR community? It's already out on several media platforms and I've mostly heard good feedback. https://open.spotify.com/track/2nb5W939A6LYxH8ks0lEdj?si=nTA9QaE6SKGA3PmrJw3zXQMin
  25. Hi, Here is a piano arrangement of Final Fantasy 8 - Spy. Style a little jazzy, with rhythm more marked than my usual works. And a lot a dissonances. NEW VERSION : Original here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=txs-MnMiP2w I was in difficulty to keep the tempo. I've for this corrected some mistakes. I think it can't be heard, I hope so Any feedbacks is welcome !
