  1. A quick little mix I thought I'd share : ) SLUMDON - HEARTHIS YOUTUBE
  2. 2ND Impact Remix I figured I'd share; The game has such great music that's criminally overlooked : ) [PICTURE IS THE LINK] SOUNDCLOUD LINK
  3. Yo! I uploaded new cover on YouTube. Time for some tactical cardboar...krhm i mean espionage action! :D. In this arrangement, i focused more on drums so i could bring some 80's or 90's feel for it. Feedback is appreciated! Here is the Cover: Here is the Original:
  4. Hey guys, I recently completed a little arrangement of "Secret of the Forest" from the SNES class Chrono Trigger. This piece gets covered and arranged fairly often, but I decided I wanted to try my hand at it. A lot of the best covers for this piece either tend to be either a full replication of the original instrumentation or a solo piano piece, so I decided to meet somewhere in the middle and approach it as a piano and flute piece. The result is something that I hope is simple, approachable and a little elegant, while still retaining what made the original piece by Yasunori Mitsuda so
  5. Last month I put together a band for a single weekend. These are personal friends, fellow VGM musicians I've met over the years (online and in person), and my best friends: Strader and Juja. My career doesn't allow me to be social (so my friends are internet folks) or to go on an actual tour with a 'band', so I came up with the idea of taking my fictional 'band' on a fictional 'tour'. We all met up for the first time in a recording studio the day before our only show and hit 'record' on our practice session. The intent was to release a fake live 'world tour' album, complete with fake chee
  6. Hey guys, I've been playing FF9 a lot this week since it was rereleased on PS4. I had forgotten just how fun and memorable the music was from this game. The battle theme is especially fun and I love how it serves as a throwback to all the other battle themes in FF history before 7. I didn't really see that many solo piano arrangements out there, so I decided to write one and play it to some game footage. Hope you enjoy! Have a great weekend everyone!
  7. Hello! I finished new cover for Pokemon - Bicycle Theme. I recorded some strings to spice my lead guitar parts, so the whole arrangement would sound much fuller. Feedback is welcome :)! Here is the cover: Here is the original soundtrack:
  8. This is a very straightforward remix using the SNES and Genesis sounds. The arrangement is exactly the same as the original. This was more of an experiment to see what a retro song would sound like if an SNES and Genesis worked together. Basically I was satisfying my own curiosity.
  9. Hey guys! I just finished this big ol' rock arrangement of Hopes and Dreams that I've been working on for almost two years. I hope you enjoy!
  10. Yo! I published my first collaboration cover with Arzie Van Dee :)! It's Mega Man 2 - Dr. Wily's Castle Theme. Our cover has quite a lot improvisation and original touch, which bends the original theme into a new direction. All feedback is welcome and appreciated!! =) Here is the cover: Here is the original soundtrack:
  11. Edit3, final: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B2vXGW-rxcYfaHhGOFBZSWJxNmM Remix Video: OST: Been getting back into streaming my composing process and thought I'd share the track I'm currently working on. Still pretty rough in stuff like transitions & writing and it's completely unmastered. Also, if you want to see previous sessions or watch it being made live, you can tune in at https://www.twitch.tv/nutritiousmusic
  12. Thought everyone would get a kick out of this; rock/metal cover of “Devil’s Lab” from FFVI. Let me know what y’all think! I’m particularly pumped on the solo in this one, haha.
  13. heres the link to the remix version and then one to the original
  14. Short experiment where I composed imaginary critical themes for Genesis Mortal Kombat. Added them on top of gameplay so you get an idea of how it'd work in practice. If you've played this game enough, you know it doesn't have that type of music. Grab all tracks here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0W_PJl47QIoMXk3amttQXFPTGc/view?usp=sharing
  15. I'm back with another remake. I used various Final Fantasy Mystic Quest sf2s (replaced the recorder with square because it sounds better), drum set is the custom standard from Xiload, used the Orch Hits from Drill Dozer The electric guitar is better quality than Star Fox's, which is cool. Added the original and had a hard time getting the two to sync. This is as close as I could get. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B1cNg5GTkCUIZHh6SzE3ZTlHaGM reviews are appreciated.
  16. Wassup guys! So I added a rap verse to Infinite's Theme from the upcoming game Sonic Forces! It's a mini music video and its actually my first attempt at rapping on rock beat. I made some changed to the intro beat and looped the rock intro for the verse. It's short but sweet! Hope yall like!
  17. UPDATE: Final version here- https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B1bp4pINjINbZzJIXzRLaDRqSGs --- Finally getting around to commencing to finish some of my ideas, and maybe posting some WIPs will give me more incentive to do more. This is pretty much the "dry" mix. There's going to be another section, plus a lot of effects and such. download source: and something else
  18. Hello everybody! I am new to this forum and my english isn't very good... please excuse this. I am from germany, and i am still learning. I have made a remix of one of my favourite playstation-1-games, "Resident Evil". Because it's some kind of technosytle, i have named it "Resident Beat". I like to show it here and i am curious about your opinions. It's a mix of the original "Mansion Theme", played in game when you were wandering through the manor house, and some soundsamples from the game (howlings, ravens ...). I hope you like it! And please give me feedback.
  19. Hello everybody, REMEMBER CITADEL, Germany's only video game music collective band, is about to release its second four track EP. As an appetizer for the full thing we (or me, this time) put together a little music video of its first track, Old Friends, from the awesome Transistor soundtrack. Feel free to check it out, comment, and also leave a like at: https://www.facebook.com/remembercitadelband/

  22. Hey guys, I recently arranged and recorded a solo piano version of Kakakiro Village from OoT. I initially went for something more involved, but I decided to scale back and do a simple piano arrangement with some subtle reharmonization of the original tune. I think a big reason why the original tune is so effective is its simplicity, so I didn't want to make it too complicated. The biggest focus for me was getting that melody to sing and making the voicing of the chords towards the end of each phrase clear. I really wanted to accentuate that warm and fuzzy feeling I got when I first heard
  23. I made this mashup using emulated sounds from Contra Hard Corps, Castlevania III, Castlevania, Super Castlevania IV, Castlevania Bloodlines, The Adventures of Bayou Billy, and The Goonies II.
  24. Sup guys! So I did a vocal remix to "Wildstyle Pistolero" from Sonic Mania. I gotta say this is definitely one of my favorites. Real smooth jazzy hip hop! Hope you like and have some Knuckles references in this. BTW...that DJ sound is all my voice
