  2. Not technically a remix, or if it is a heavily conservative one,it's for a project that needed a very accurate version of it: http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/600839 What do you think about it?
  3. Wanted to test out my new NT2-A for music, so I settled on one of the neatest and ostensibly most remixed source tune in game history. Shades of bossanova. Enjoy! https://soundcloud.com/fish-and-swallow/corridor-of-time
  4. https://soundcloud.com/bitlegs/shovel-knight-the-starlit-wilds-bitlegs-phase-locket-blurrymix maybe you'll DIG this...
  5. Hello everyone, I'd like to share this remix I did of this Civ 3 track: My remix: https://soundcloud.com/dinokidofficial/civ-3-stars-full/s-6kmdL I'm about done with this but before I move on I'd like to hear any critique you guys might have. The guitar part is a live recording the rest is samples. Thanks, Dino Kid
  6. An orchestral track that begins peacefully then builds into a soaring adventure. Certainly one of the most ambitious tracks I've written. Took me a good amount of time to complete it. I'd love to hear any comments, criticisms, advice, etc.! https://soundcloud.com/mikededub/learning-to-fly
  7. Some time ago i have arranged my own version of the 90s PC-Game "The 7th Guest". Hope you like it =). I really loved those games as a kid and still play them today on the mac. I made the motivs a little bit different than the original and in another key. https://soundcloud.com/pianopossession/the-collector-tribute-to-the-7th-guest
  8. Hello all! I write for RPGFan, and I want to be a video game music composer. I'm graduating in May, and I'd like to work for any indie game company in the US. My portfolio is here. Thanks for listening! Email me if you're interested!
  9. Hey MikeViper AKA Young Prodigy here. I just finished "A New Adventure Awaits". It's an orchestral string ensemble track. You can listen to it here: https://youngprodigymusic.bandcamp.com/track/an-adventure-awaits
  10. Basically, trying to make some action movie sounding trailer music. https://soundcloud.com/angelcityoutlaw/life-on-the-grid Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks

  12. Hey guys! This is my first post on this forum and I'm looking forward to being a part of this community more. Hope you enjoy my cover of Lavender Town. Cheers! http://youtu.be/zb0nGYej9nw
  13. Hey guys, MikeViper aka Young Prodigy here. I recently wrote an anime-inspired techno track called "Endless Courage". I would describe it as something you would hear in an anime or a DDR game. You can listen to the track here: https://youngprodigymusic.bandcamp.com/track/endless-courage Any critique would be welcome.
  14. Hi everyone well this time I decided to do the staff roll for this revolutionary game. This is more like a straight cover I didn't have to change anything. I just added the solo part. I think this song is great as it is. Well I hope you like it. Thanks for watching and please leave your comments.
  15. It's certainly low compared to OCR's standarts, but as part of a contest, I took the GBA soundtrack to Aria of Sorrow and applied Super Castlevania IV's soundfont. Please enjoy.
  16. https://soundcloud.com/kekopro/the-roads-between-us I wanted to evoke a romance that has it's up and downs. Gray, rainy days as well as moments of warm sunshine. Your thoughts are appreciated!
  17. Hey All and Happy New Year! Here's my first completed mix of 2015. This is a track I arranged originally for the FF7 web series as bonus content. The idea was to challenge myself to arrange the Chocobo theme, which was a challenge seeing as how Nobuo has already arranged it dozens of times himself. I decided to do a multi movement piece and named it Variations de Chocobo as it is essentially a theme and variations. Arrangement/Mix by Dylan Wiest Saxophones by Joe Zieja Variations de Chocobo i. Theme ii. Rag iii. Jazz iv. Dance https://soundcloud.com/wiesty/variations-de-chocobo-1
  18. I'm still trying to figure out how to compress leads and bass properly without completely murdering them in the mix. Really tried to hit an Angel Vivaldi-ish tone with this one; feedback and Critique very much appreciated. Listen I know Chrono Trigger covers/remixes are done to death, but that's not unwarranted. Hope someone enjoys it.
  19. So I dug this up and figured I'd toss it here for fun. I've had a little side project going on for several years - a SaGa/FFL remake, but other things(music/life) have taken priority and it'll probably never be finished. This is one of the first pieces of music I did for it. It's something of a retro/rock/punk/noise version of Lethal Strike from SaGa II. Note that it was made to loop, so there's no proper intro/outro. Or much EQ/balance. It's not something I'd even consider submitting as an actual ReMix - Not without a lot of work, but I probably won't revisit it. It's years old and I could do something much better from scratch. https://soundcloud.com/katallen-12/ffl2-lethal-strike
  20. I tried (failed) to compose something that sounds like something out of Prince of Persia, Uncharted or the mummy. https://soundcloud.com/angelcityoutlaw/back-to-babylon Anyway, see what you think. It's only about 2 minutes long, but criticize what is there if you wish.
  21. A commission that I thought I'd share : ) YOUTUBE: SOUNDCLOUD: STARMAN TYPE-R
  22. Here's my keytar cover for In a Snow-Bound Land from DKC2. It features my expression pedal which connects to my laptop via my midi expression interface and usb. I haven't been able to use the interface for awhile but now got it fixed. Anyways, here it is: For those interested in my version without leads, only orchestration: Here's my piano cover also from awhile back:

  24. Remembered this game from my childhood, always fancied the music while going level from level, so why not make a remix of it . This is what I call a "smooth" techno version, with a standard 909 kick and hi-hats claps with some effects and a bassline. The melody is done with three different synthesizers with a old school touch. Enjoy Link: Tadashi Kimijima - Bubble Bobble Theme (Nixim's Smooth Techno Mix)
  25. I used a mixture of analog synths and chiptune to make this rendition of sweden from minecraft. My first video to feature the use of my modded Game Boy with LSDJ. http://youtu.be/lTmyHOzGPTI
