  1. Heres a loop a made a while ago. It's the theme for the generic video game hero, ya know the savior. Let me know whacha think. http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/318990 Hope ya like it.
  2. I lost the project file for this several months ago, but I recently found it and wanted to upgrade it, so loaded it up and spent a couple hours sprucing it up. Here it is: http://soundcloud.com/draconiator/justin-landry-space-mission And if you're interested, here's the old version: http://www.box.net/shared/oyag3k3xcj Edit: Linked to my new Soundcloud account instead, because I understand that Box is annoying
  3. Get ready for some Super Mario Bros hip hop!! "Girlies Meet the Mario Bros" puts Rootbeer's "Girlies" over the beat from Super Cocoa Brovas - Super Brooklyn (which samples Super Mario Bros 1) to create a genre-crossing mashup. On Fairtilizer: http://fairtilizer.com/track/girlies-meet-the-mario-bros On YouTube: It's from my latest mixtape It's Pronounced "Forty Two" http://djnerd42.blogspot.com/2010/04/its-pronounced-forty-two-bonus-track.html Also another funny video game related track from the same project, "Chrono Trigger Takes All My Moneys" featuring KJ-52 On Fairtilizer: http://fairtilizer.com/track/chrono-trigger-takes-all-my-money On YouTube: These aren't for OCremix submission because they're actual remixes, not arrangements. But thought people here might like to hear them anyways!
  4. or as oontzy as it gets for me, at least. http://www.tindeck.com/listen/ebxk http://www.tindeck.com/listen/xmfl soundfonts/cheap synths ftw. enjoy
  5. Something I made for Punchfest 9. I might redo this in the future and rearrange it a bit more; for now, enjoy. It is a remix of the song Whirlwind from Shinobi III, or just Stage 4-1. http://tindeck.com/listen/fmvx
  6. I am trying to write more adult lyrics, that mean something real to me. This song has me trying to sing, some of the notes sung are too low for me but I tried. This is a ballad style track, uses some 80s synths too : ) Eventide: City lights the night sky line, moonlight drifts, rivers twist Starry sky, worlds unknown underneath were rivers flow But lately I just don't know why, I sigh Against the star lit sky. Fallen dreams, full embraced Miss her smile, her touch, her face Eventide by her side her Soft song voiced calms my tide And lately I just realized why, I sigh She was those stars in the sky Eventide can be downloaded from here: http://www.mediafire.com/file/zrjg5mzqn21/Eventide 192Kb.mp3
  7. I wasn't the biggest fan of the original song, but wanted to practice some different techniques and such. This is sorta progressive house I guess. For a contest on Remix Galaxy.. http://www.box.net/shared/tejlgdnp2e
  8. Live Fast, Die Faster (Contra Hard Corps) - http://www.mediafire.com/?zjm00mmgnjt Hi guys, I'm just new here and i'm posting one of my recent remakes This one is from Contra Hard Corps. Gave it a metal remake since that synth riff in the intro really gave me a good idea. I'm open to comments and suggestions and anything whatsoever. Source: The Hard Corps -
  9. Hey everyone. Here is my myspace www.myspace.com/apostmoderncliche I finally have a song up with at least SOME lyrics in it now. And also if you want tons of free downloads of my songs you can go here, to Pure Volume: http://www.purevolume.com/ThePostModernCliche23764 Let me know what you think.
  10. At the beginning, I wasn't sure where to put this since, it kind of - in my mind - falls into a grey area...whereas I have both parts of a film soundtrack and...video game music. Anyway, this is my "mix-match" of different parts from both sources. ...this is the offspring of my inability to stay focused on one particular thing, as...in the beginning, I was going for an M.Bison remix. I watched Mission Impossible, and that all changed. Then I start realizing how close it was to the Hyrule Temple in Super Smash Bros. It's pretty much self-explanatory from there. I just couldn't focus or stay focused on one thing. Next thing you know, this is what happened. It was made with a collection of things, including Edirol HQ Orchestral. This isn't meant for a submission, just having fun...and experimenting as much as I possibly can. Enjoy (...if at all possible): http://tindeck.com/listen/zcbi
  11. Hello friends. Here's a new metal song I'd like to present to you. It didn't have vocals for a couple of months, until I got OCRemixer Cyril to do them for me, so I thank him for that, I think he did a really good job. Hope you like the song, here it is: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/135436/DiseasedProject/Xenophobes_Purgatory_Vocal_Edition.mp3 Also, Cyril wants to say, that should you need a vocalist, he's willing to participate I really recommend him.
  12. A while ago I made this rendition of Ken Goach's "The Rain" theme, but I just realized I can post it here: http://www.box.net/files#/files/0/f/0/1/f_423962530
  13. http://soundtempest.net/soc/compotune/oc-bp2010-foryourprotection.mp3 This was my streaming music entry for Blockparty 2010. It's one of the few songs I've actually finished this year.
  14. This is a Genesis vs SNES remix of Various Themes From the sonic and mario series... I did the genesis sonic parts, and protodome did the SNES mario parts. This is not meant for submission, this was just something we did for lolz. http://tindeck.com/listen/lyem Giving credit where credit is due... this was inspired by shnabubula's dueling consoles
  15. Thanks to the people who told me to post it on youtube!
  16. Hello to everyone on OCRemix. As you can tell this is my first post on this site, and I've got this song here that I just finished. It is the spontaneous brainchild of listening to too many Sonic 3 and Knuckles tracks and their many mutated offspring. Anyway, all I have at the moment is a sad little midi file. It is supposed to be a jazzy, symphonic piece reminiscent of Flying Battery/Lava Reef/Chemical Plant and other such musax. Now, I should be able to do something decent to orchestral instruments, but I could really use the help of someone with better guitar recording skills than I. Since, while I do play, I have no means of getting the guitars sounds on to my computer (they won't stick to the case for some reason...). If anyone would be willing to lay down a lovely little riff or three, it would be greatly appreciated (of course other instruments are appreciated too!). - Kurushi (also, how would I go about getting said track on the internets? if you would be so kind...)

  18. Hello! First post and everything. I remixed the main theme from Rastan, and have submitted it to the site, but in the meantime I thought it would be nice to get a bit of feedback on it, so I can think about any changes I'll have to make now, in the event that I have to resubmit it. Soundcloud link is: http://soundcloud.com/synnah/rastan Youtube video, so you can see it in the context of the game: Direct link to the MP3? Sure! http://tinyurl.com/y77ad4l Thanks in advance!
  19. Lemme know if yall like this, or if it sucks ; ) http://soundcloud.com/bigmowth/lady-gaga-feat-beyonce-telephone-paul-rosenthal-breaks-remix
  20. I'm pretty new here so hiii! I'd like some opinions on my latest remix of Doom2's "Dave D. Taylor Blues" found on the Tricks & Traps map. I reworked a lot of the song aiming for a sinister & mechanical, with a hard hitting beat. Let me know what you think please! =) Hands down the most work I've put in a remix so far. You can download it here from rapidshare. You can also find it on youtube here if you don't feel like downloading. Game Arranged: Doom][ Name of Song: "Tricks and Traps" found on Map08. (also be known as "The Dave D. Taylor Blues") Game Info: Doom2, for PC and various ports to other systems, original soundtrack by Bobby Prince. Original soundtrack:
  21. This is not really a remix per se, just a cover with some N106 & FDS additions to the original. direct mp3 link
  22. Does anyone remember playing Suikoden 2? Or does anyone remember who Luca Blight was?? Let us refresh your memory: It's our version of Miki Higashino's The Chase from Suikoden 2. The process of rearranging and pretty much revamping the whole song was a "pain-in-the-butt" process. . .and that's just rearranging and/or recomposing it from scratch (i.e the second movement) and it completely drained us for a month (for just one song). The percussive parts were redone 3 times--coz we wanted that "dnb" feel--something we rarely do in our mixes. But I guess it worked out fine for us. . . As for the "music video". . .it's crap really. . .we were focusing more of the "music" aspect than the visualization. . .hehehe, but it's alright. And uhh, it's kinda sounds different when uploaded in youtube. . .it sounds filtered. . .which wasn't like that at all. . .we still have the mp3 copy of it. Lemme know if anyone wants to check it out and lemme know what you guys think about it. Be honest, we can take criticisms very well.
