The Mutericator
I'm glad he's looking into wrongful arrest complaints. It was funny until they arrested him for their mistake - whoever made that mistake should be in trouble.

The Author
AHAH... US cops are so zealous... aimms. How about UK cops, my dear homonym. This happened in the British Isles, and not in the colony.
The Coop
The cops knew exactly what it was in the window. They just wanted an excuse to "cop" a feel on it as it were.

Dyne
Jesus Christ, I feel violated by that pun. Not nearly as violated as the gentleman whose house was just violated by said 'copped' feel.

BlueMage
Not nearly as violated as the gentleman whose house was just violated by said 'copped' feel. It's the price you pay for having a life-size replica fetish.
OverCoat
How about UK cops, my dear homonym. This happened in the British Isles, and not in the colony. I wouldn't rule out U.S. cops doing the same thing. Or worse.
The Author
I wouldn't rule out U.S. cops doing the same thing.Or worse. Never said they wouldn't. I feel that Lara would have lost a life right then and there in the US for not "getting on the ground" fast enough.
Deathtank
US cops would have called the SWAT team to do the dirty work...

X
C'mon. A simple look at the standee's figure should've been enough to tell that it's a fake. LOL Guess that what happens when acts of idiocy lead to other acts of idiocy, but whatever. I find myself amused that the PD has kept the mannequin for their own purposes (evidence was it? right... [heh, heh]) despite the fact that it's a poor excuse for property theft. I'm glad he's seeking wrongful arrest charges on the PD though. I hope that all the police involved are getting plenty of negative marks on their records. In all truth, they should probably be jailed themselves.
