I see that some people have avatars that arent on the list.. Is there a function I'm missing to do that or is it only open to certain people?

Yep. Helps to be a ReMixer or providing a lot of avatars. If you make a good avatar and you want it custom, it still has to be a 32x32 maximum GIF, you have to make it yourself, and I've gotta approve it.

A lot of the Chrono Cross ones I did when I was younger sucked because of trace pixels I couldn't see. But I think I'll redo them and resubmit them so there's a complete set out on OCR.

i'd definitely use a chrono cross avatar if there was one...but that would mean giving up the mage that's lasted me since i was in high school. dunno if i can do that...

Once I get to know a person with a certain avatar, I can't imagine them without it, I see the mage and think "prophet", it really bothers me when 2 active people have the same avi...

I do the exact same thing back when estavao ran the chess tournies. He used to put down our avatars in the chart where our names were in the same cross-section.

it bothers me to see neminem with the mage. like, he's been around aeons longer than me, but i still think of it as my mage, y'know? first game i ever played emulated was ffIII (in ninth grade, i think, like 2000), and i just relate with that.

Harle hater!! I submitted a full set when Liontamer was taking submissions before the switch to vBulletin. But yeah, they weren't cleaned up because I failed at Photoshopping and cropping. But since I got Harle accepted I got lazy and didn't remake the others.

I was in the same boat when I first joined. I really wanted to use the Terry Bogard avatar, but I already associated it with Instrument of GAWD, so I used Marco from Metal Slug for a while instead.
