The Damned
The Game Boy is 20 years old as of yesterday (a little bit late, I know). So, as my first video game system, my favorite hardware, and the system that played almost all of my favorite games, happy birthday!

relyanCe
Did you just never have an SNES or what? Hey back off the man, the GB was my first gateway into the fantastical world of video games too! Happy birthday, you big clunky brick of awesomeness, you!

zircon
Ah... it was my first system as well. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Spider-Man, Super Mario Land 2, Final Fantasy Legend. Classic!

Petara
Thats an awesome pic:razz: I still have my original big carrying case, Handy Boy and about two dozen games... The sad part is, my ol gray brick has since been stolen. I replaced it a few years back with a purple gameboy color (not my color preference, but where there any other choices?) Elex Synn
Ah game boy... My traveling weapon of choice as a child... Final Fantasy Legend. Final Fantasy Legend II... Final Fanatasy Legend III... (Time travel before Chrono Trigger, yo!) My gateway into the magical land of RPG's. How I miss thee... The entertainment brick was also great as a suprise attack weapon
FREAK55
20 years?! Wow. I guess it's time to break out mine again and play some tetris. If I remember correctly, a lot of gameboys came with tetris, didn't they? Good times...
mousemuffins
Got mine a decade ago; it was transparent purple. They had dandelion, too; and maybe orange. Mine didn't come with tetris, but I don't know how many times I played Pokémon Red. !yoB emaG ,yadhtriB yppaH

The Damned
Did you just never have an SNES or what? I rented a SNES, and friends had a few, but I never owned any video game system of my own. We had an old Oddessy2 from a garage sale, but it still wasn't "mine".
SirChadlyOC
Final Fantasy Legend II... That was the best one. In fact, best exclusive portable RPG for like 10 years.
Graycascade
Ah, gameboy. My first system was the red "Play it out loud" line they came out with after the original gray. I've purchased every serious upgrade since the original (not including things like gameboy pocket, GBA SP, etc.). My next system didn't come around until I got me an N64. So, for quite some time it was just me'n'my Gameboy. Good times.
